My
partner
and
I
travelled
here
from
Australia
stayed
for
a
total
of
2
nights.
From
the
minute
we
arrived
-
we
received
a
poor
experience.
There
were
no
greetings,
no
assistance
with
our
luggage
and
no
air
conditioning.
We
were
escorted
to
our
room
-
the
room
we
booked
was
a
double
Queen
room
and
to
our
surprise,
there
were
2
x
King
Single
beds.
My
partner
called
Reception
and
was
advised
we
would
receive
a
call
back
-
which
we
didn’t.
We
decided
to
take
matters
into
our
own
hands
and
head
down
to
the
Reception
again.
We
were
provided
a
new
room
with
a
King
Bed.
On
this
night
-
I
also
enquired
about
a
dinner
on
the
beach
as
I
had
plans
to
propose
to
my
girlfriend
the
following
day.
This
did
not
eventuate
due
to
the
weather
predictions.
They
weren’t
able
to
offer
any
other
alternatives
other
than
a
“private
dinner”
in
the
restaurant.
I
then
requested
a
floral
decoration
in
our
room
following
the
proposal.
The
following
day
arrives
-
I
went
to
Reception
as
requested
to
provide
them
some
notice
for
the
bed
to
be
decorated.

other
people
push
in
line
in
front
of
me
-
to
which
the
staff
blatantly
ignore
my
frustration
at
this
whilst
they
serve
the
other
people.
20
minutes
pass
and
my
girlfriend
is
waiting
in
the
restaurant
while
I
make
these
arrangements
which
should’ve
taken
no
more
than
a
few
minutes.
The
proposal
was
done
off
site
and
she
said
yes!
We
arrived
back
at
the
hotel
for
our
dinner
-
which
was
not
private
as
promised.
It
was
held
in
the
main
dining
area.
A
couple
of
items
were
missing
from
our
order
however,
we
were
happy
to
turn
a
blind
eye
to
this
as
we
were
quite
pleased
with
the
staff
member
who
served
us.
By
this
point
-
disappointment
was
expected
anyway.
The
day
of
our
check
out
we
went
to
Reception
to
speak
to
the
Manager.
She
listened
as
we
calmly
provided
the
feedback.
She
did
absolutely
nothing
otherwise.
Overall,
for
an
international
brand
hotel
-
we
were
deeply
disappointed.
This
was
meant
to
be
a
joyous
occasion,
however,
I
left
frustrated
and
upset.
My
now
fiancé,
also
feels
this
and
it
is
a
shame
the
hotel
was
unable
to
do
anything
or
at
least
provide
some
compensation.
Needless
to
say
-
we
will
be
back
in
Vietnam
due
to
our
heritage
however,
would
not
consider
or
recommend
staying
here.
We’re
off
to
the
Intercontinental
today
and
hopefully,
this
will
make
up
for
the
disaster
we
experienced
here.
