Great location for an unforgettable getaway. You will fall asleep with the sound of rushing tides from your beachfront villa. You will have a scenic view of the whole city at night and a peaceful view of the sunrise. Great food selection for breakfast. Resort restaurant is excellent at a great price, probably below many local places in the city. Staff is extremely helpful and speak English. All amenities are available in your large villa.

They charge 200.000VND to take a swim even if you buy a drink and there's a whole part of the beach which they have closed and make it unusable for people to take a swim. Very bad.

This is very nice, clean beach! Bungalow is with pool, you can enjoy during the day. Only some steps you can reach beach with rocks, but still have room for sandy patch which is safe for swimming. A tourist place worth to stay here some days to get energy before back to work. Summer here is very shiny, blue sky. Timing to come here, Danang until October.

My family had a great time at Son Tra Resort & Spa. The location is a little far from the main beach of Da Nang, but you see the whole skyline of the city. Each villa has a private swimming pool which is exactly what we were looking for. The beach and the hotel overall condition is very clean, crystal clear water. The staffs are very friendly and respectful. Breakfast was also delicious, variety of food options including some local dishes. We were very happy and feeling relaxing during our stay. Highly recommended!! Next time we visit Da Nang, we would come back here.

We stayed here for 4 nights in 3 villas from 29th Jan to 1 st Feb 2023. The property is right on the beach and 20 mins away from city on cab. The staff doesn't understand English much and is not all co-operative. Even the property manger doesn't understand English. Rooms and bathrooms are not well kept and few things are broken. Kitchen doesn't have microwave. Even local taxi service which is GRAB doest give service from the resort. Food menu is also very limited and preparation is also not good. We ordered for chicken pizza and as a topping on base they applied peanut butter....yucks If u eat or drink on beach u have to bring ur plates and glasses back other wise they will charge u for that at the time of checkout. We were even charged for teaspoons which were missing from room. So overall it was bad experience for us to saty there. Would not recommend this property at all

No access to Bai Nam Beach. Instead they will try to rip you off. 200.000VND for going to the hotel beach as a guest. Drinks expensive.. staff unfriendly!

So SO so disappointed! You arrive and it looks like paradise... Then the staff can't speak English and don't really care to help you at all. I tried to book dinner at the restaurant and they couldn't understand so we gave up and just got room service. You think you are going to a lovely tranquil resort but NO NO NO its not! REALLY Load duff duff music till 1AM like it's a night club!!! (great if you like that) But no pre warning before you book! It's so loud in the room! The pool was full of ANTS! other bugs, leaves and flys sat on top like it hasn't been cleaned! The kitchen had noodles and mess all over the bench so obviously not cleaned... I had booked a 1 bedroom beach front pool villa but somehow got a 2 bedroom villa? (which was old an run down & not like the pictures of the "new" fresh 1 bedroom villas I thought I had booked? Or maybe they are all old and photos are not acurate?) The safe was broken, the TV didn't work at ALL!!! The 1 shower is an in the bath, tiny head, hose on a wall, crapy set up. Its really far from any other establishments so you are kind of stuck out here... So expect to pay more for everything. ALSO an entire kitchen without a single utensil, pot pan, nothing so you cant actually cook. I will say the beach is lovely but everyone from the resort comes down and uses it right in front of your villa so no actual privacy and you get screaming kids and all... Its not RELAXING!!! Pick something closer to Da Nang!

Resort overall is very clean and beautiful beach. However we had construction work next to our villa and the food & drinks were 3 times as expensive as in other places all across Vietnam

A slice of heaven on earth! The Son Tra Resort & Spa is located in the Son Tra suburbs of the Da Nang city. It's around 20 minutes of car ride from the City centre. One has to cross over the Da Nang bay to reach Son Tra from the city. From Hoi An, Son Tra is around 35 odd kilometres. The resort is a Villa only property offering Beach side and Ocean view Villas, each featuring a pretty large private pool. The Villas come in 2 Rooms & 3 Rooms configuration and are spread across 2 floors with a full fledged kitchen located on the upper floor along with a Drawing & dining space. The beach is private and a great place to enjoy the waves of the South China Sea. There is a pool at the resort's restaurant too, just few steps down from the reception area. The staff is friendly and goes all out to make your stay a memorable one. Do stay at the Son Tra Resort & Spa if you are in or around Da Nang.

Very great! We had a villa with pool and it was right on the beach! I loved it! Some other reviews said the staff don't speak english (which is a weird complaint in a country that doesn't speak English as it's main language anyway) but I found all of the staff super friendly and easy to ask questions to. Brian was especially friendly and helpful! We ordered pizza and bun bo que from room service and it was tasty! The kitchen had a lot of things for cooking but we didn't cook at all. The pool and beach are so nice. Very good place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The rooms were not well maintained, in 2 room villa, we had to share a single shower for bath, because other rooms didn't have shower, and the bathtub wasn't functional. The restaurant closes at 5pm, and kitchen doesn't have tools to cook anything, so stay hungry after 5pm. Private Pool was also not clean.

Rooms were decent, although they lacked ventilation and each villa had only 1 shower out of the 4 bathrooms. View and location is very pretty, but 30 minutes away from Da Nang main city, and cabs dont come till the resort easily Food was not great, their Pizza had peanut butter in it but not listed on the menu, my friend had an allergic reaction. Service during checkout was abysmal, we had to wait 45 minutes while the staff counted all the spoons and held us up over 2 tea spoons and 2 cups.

If you're looking for a place away from the city but still near the city, this is the perfect place. The villas are just beside the beach. Each villa has 2 bedrooms. It also has a living room, dining area, and a kitchen. If you don't like to swim at the beach, there's a private pool for each villa. Internet is also available so you can still be online while being on vacation. The staff are very friendly, too! Definitely a great place to stay in when you're Da Nang.

A quaint resort by the sea. The sea is just two steps away if you are in a beachfront villa room. The location is great with sea next to you and a small but extremely clean beach. The city shoreline visible on the other side. The rooms are good in size but amenities are not that great. There is a private swimming pool in each beachfront villa too. Our room had faulty drains in the wash basin and bathroom. Bed and quilts were ok, towels not so good. The service is quite ok though. Probably the resort needs better maintenance. Hopefully with more footfalls, the resort will be able to do better. Given the price point, I would recommend this for people looking for a quiet, lazy and chilled stay!

A perfect resort, offering a beautiful private beach in front of your private pool villa. Very friendly staff and good breakfast options to start the day.

Could be so much better. The resort seems to have lacked maintenance and upkeep as if it doesn't really care anymore. It's a shame as the location is fantastic. Very few staff about, very poor communication skills, filthy glasses in the room look like they've not been washed for weeks. Also a horrible saggy mattress is not acceptable. Very disappointed and couldn't recommend on our experience recently.

This hotel is located at a wonderful point where the beah is so clean and salty (that keeps you floating on surface, supports you swim). This is suitable for a family, a couple who want relax and quite environment. Staff: friendly, nice Room: clean, funiture is at good condition. Cons: no dinning chair for a child. The breakfast should be improved especially coffee.

Absolutely gorgeous location. We checked in last minute after a bad experience in a home stay, and it was a relief to get there. There was a private clean beach with barely anyone using it. Each villa had a private pool. The villas are very pretty. The rooms are a good size and beds very comfortable. There were a few small issues like broken doors and kettle, but maintenance were quick to replace the kettle when we let them know. The spa was not available during our stay. Food was OK. Staff try their best to be accommodating. Use a translator app to make sure that you are understood and of course its more respectful to use the native language first.

We popped in just for lunch as we tootled around the peninsula. Had a very warm welcome from...I am sorry I have forgotten his name, but he's the restaurant manager! Even if you just have lunch you can access their beach, pool and sauna. Food was really good. I missed off 1 star only because of the plastic straws - but the restaurant manager is going to look into this.

It was very hard to communicate with staff who never speak English. Moreover, they are never kind and friendly. But I cannot stop enjoying calm and quiet place. I did not know Danang city hide this beautiful spot.

Beautiful views. Nice isolated location with a private beach. Good rooms, could do with a bit of updating though. I think if they did a renovation this would be a perfect weekend getaway spot. The buffet is fine; but it was like a war zone on the Saturday morning when there were a big group of people staying. Kitchen and staff couldn't keep up with refilling the buffet

Although the villa is downgrading but all things still good, have a good location and view place beside the seaside, front is sea back is mountain.
