It
is
said
that
Igidae
originated
from
the
story
that
during
the
Japanese
invasions
of
Korea,
two
gisaeng
who
lived
in
Suyeong
jumped
off
the
ground
holding
a
Japanese
enemy
general.
I
wasn't
planning
on
going
to
Igidae
Cathedral,
but
I
happened
to
stop
by
at
the
foot
of
the
mountain
on
my
way
after
getting
off
the
bus
at
the
entrance
of
Igidae.
The
brick
cathedral
had
a
beautiful
appearance
with
the
mountains
in
the
background,
the
baby
angel
statue
at
the
entrance
was
unique,
and
the
Virgin
Mary’s
Garden
was
beautifully
decorated.
