Pros: * Central location with underground access to Seomyeon station and Lotte shopping center/food court/supermarket. * Spacious rooms with good sound proofing from street noise. * Nice bath/sauna/fitness facilities. * Nice views of you get a high enough floor. Cons: * Shower curtain had a bad smell when we first entered the room and we had to request housekeeping to change it out. * Concierge was frequently unavailable.

I booked Club Premier Double for 2 nights and breakfast included. The price is reasonable and club lounge breakfast / cocktails in the evening are great. Since it is at the city center & near subway, it is convenient to move around. Lots of traditional Korean restaurants next to hotel & street food are one block away. A nice fitness center, swimming pool and sauna. Service

The renovated outdoor swimming pool was impressive. One of the most beautiful outdoor swimming pools in a 5-star hotel. It's not cold if you're soaking in the outdoor pool, but I definitely want to come back in summer, the peak season. Other than that, the club deluxe room is clean and the staff are friendly.. The club lounge (in my case) had a good breakfast, but the happy hour was a bit disappointing for dinner and was perfect for a snack.

Large room with classical interior design. Fantastic night views. Good amenities. Some people may feel the room is a bit too dark. Staffs with kind and professional services. Good quality breakfast buffet. Located in downtown, so it's fairly easy to travel to other parts of the city by using either public transportation or cars.

Excellent areas: - the hotel view - concierge and room service - location - size of room - quietness and privacy Not great areas: - toothbrushes and toothpastes are not provided (take note that you will need to pay for it, toothbrush at 2.2k won, toothpaste at 3.3k won) - razor and shaving cream are not provided as well (razer at 6.6k won, shaving cream at 3.3k won) - does not provide body lotions - staff does not understand English as well as western hotels I get that they are having a ‘re:think’ campaign trying to get people to reuse and/or recycle, but not providing basic amenities from the first night of stay should immediately disqualify you from the 5 star rating. Even lower star rated hotels provide these. At the very least, make it available upon request instead of charging outright.

Be aware if you're driving to hotel!! Access to hotel is extremely busy because they don't separate hotel guest and shopping customers. When you ask traffic assistance staff how to access hotel lobby for check-in, you will be asked why you want to check-in first before park at cramped underground parking. And if you manage to pull in to lobby driveway, you will be asked to move your car unless you hire valet parking service with ridiculous extra charge. Then how to check-in? Answer from valet was very clear. Get out of driveway immediately which is only for VIP and valet customers and spend 30mins in the traffic line up again to get in to underground parkade and race with all other traffic to find a spot and unload your baggage and hold on to your child (because other cars are still racing to find parking spot) drag ypur baggage carefully between parked cars because there's no walk way!! Now to can get to elevator lobby If you or your children didn't hit by parking racers. This is not a $50/night motor inn.. You get treated as an obstruction and get to explore parking hell with zero assistance with paying $400/night!!

5 star hotels aren't my usual, but I stayed here for a work trip. Location is great and tons of shopping, luxury brands in the basement connected to kilometers of underground shopping. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good with plenty of options, among my favorite was the fruit, very good pineapple. Concierge can take your bags before check in or hold them after. Saw one man making a fool of himself yelling at the Concierge, but they were patient and graceful with him.

Older hotel however well maintained. The staff were professional and the room was comfortable. The swimming pool and gym are a great addition as well.

Very good service hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for your Busan vacation. We were first not happy with our room on the 25th floor but they resolved the issue by changing our room to the 29th floor. Much better. The pool is very nice and clean. The gym is very good too. The location is very good, close to everything. Great hotel

Charging extra for the swimming pool (35k won for a child for 2 hours!) just feels so greedy when you've already paid for a room - and once you're at the pool, you have to pay extra just to sit down on a pool chair! Absolutely ridiculous. The breakfast buffet is also aggressively mediocre and extremely overpriced (33k won for a child, 57k for an adult during the week), and don't get me started on room service prices - who is paying 10k won for an orange juice!? The greed is just palpable and honestly disgusting. On the other hand, the location and service were good, and the room was fine. If you go, I would avoid paying for any extras unless you enjoy being ripped off.

Very nice hotel, in great location close to all sorts of entertainment, shopping and dining venues. What stands out is always smiling, friendly and polite staff who will do everything to accommodate your needs. Level of spoken English is really good.

Friendly staff. Can't do early check-in. Buffet Breakfast and Dinner was excellent but pricey $$$$. Beautiful pool area. Good location for food and shopping. Department store inside hotel with restaurants and food court. The rooms are spacious with nice size bathrooms. Very clean hotel. Nice city view.

Big rooms with a great view and nice breakfast buffet, but as others have mentioned - it's a little old fashioned and I got increasing frustrated the longer I stayed due to the lights situation. They all come on or don't and they are controlled from one side of the bed only. Also the lowest the air con go was 23 degrees! There’s a golf driving range on site. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try it as they don't provide golf clubs for hire unless you're taking lessons?!

Convenient location for hotel and initially seemed like a 5 star hotel with bar and bakery downstairs. However, the room and bathroom did seem a bit dated for a 5 star hotel. Certainly comparing with other 5 star hotels it is a bit lacking in terms of room quality, but the prices are a little bit cheaper ($360 AUD / night).

Great hotel, connected to a department store, movie theater, and casino! The rooms are really spacious, which I loved, and there is an amazing food hall under the hotel. If you stay, I highly recommend it! The food hall is called food Ave.

This hotel is the best. The service right from getting off the taxi was amazing. Very clean room and amazing staff. I forgot my headphones and they kept them for me and gave them to me 4 days later thank you very much definitely if I come back to Busan I would stay again. I Really loved the stay here

Excellent service, most staff speak and understand English. The room is spacious too and the location is very convenient. Within 5 minute walk to the metro and plenty of eateries and shopping next to it. It's a pity that this is the only hotel I stayed that charges guests to use its swimming pool (30k won).

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, especially for the price, which I found to be reasonable for a 5-star hotel. Great views too. The service was outstanding, especially during check in. A staff member came to my room and personally walked me through the hotel’s amenities and how to use the light system in the room and checked if I needed anything. The sauna and pool area was very luxurious and relaxing to use as well. I ordered room service late at night and was surprised at how fast it arrived. They were also able to help me send mail very efficiently. Overall, a great experience. Of course, it’s important to note that if you stay here, you won’t be close to the beach areas in Busan, but if you take day trips down, it should be fine.

Beautiful hotel and connected to the Lotte department store, with multiple levels of high-end shopping. The hotel is centrally located in the city and lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Close to the metro, which can take you anywhere and just a few minutes ride to great food and drinks.

5/10/2023: Our room was not cleaned at 3:30PM when the we got back from the day’s tour. After finally finding someone who can speak a bit of English, the fourth person we tried, he told us the hotel policy is to clean by 4:30PM, even though check-in is 2 PM. He said the room will not be cleaned until after 4:10PM. This is NOT how a five-star hotel should be conducting house keeping or customer service. I am giving it two stars because the breakfast buffet is wonderful. But the staff really needs serious training in customer management.

A lovely hotel and service. The rooms are clean and large. The bathrooms are stocked with great products. The casino is sad, and only foreigners allowed, you can skip it.

A lovely place that is all around amazing. From the world’s best breakfast buffet to quiet rooms, outstanding service, and a central location that is surrounded by interesting sights and incredible food; the Lotte Busan is a rare gem.

I can't seem to locate a good photo of the room or of the hotel, but all I can say is that the hotel is top notch, great service, location, LOVED THE POOL, FITNESS CENTER & SAUNA! I would love to come back in the future. Well done, Lotte hotel Busan!

I discovered this place upon entering Busan on my first day for a working trip with no knowledge of it's reputation. First Check-in: The process was smooth and quick. The staff at the lobby gave impeccable service and treated me as a guest despite me looking like a bum from no where. First impression of the hotel is a 10/10 Bar and Lounge: Again this Hotel showcases it's reputation through great service. The Bar Maids by the Lobby were clear and concise on every order of Alcohol. Although I do not agree with the pricing of the alcohol, the music, the ambience and the service made every purchase worth it. Pool and Amenities: For the price I paid, I honestly feel like I owe the hotel three nights for one night. It's as if I'm in a membership only exclusive to the Elite, except I am not. I am just a regular person but was treated as if I was an important guest every interaction I had with the staff. Lastly, Breakfast: The attention to detail and time to prepare all the food was definitely exceeding the standards of my expectations. Just by eating the eggs alone, I can tell the chefs took extreme care to give out the best product on the Food Line. The staff again continued their consistent 5 star service. I would definitely comeback to Busan again and recommend this hotel for anyone who wants Great Customer service, Food and just a relaxing vacation or Holiday.

This hotel was the highlight of not only our Busan trip, but the whole of South Korean trip. A realisation has dawned on me that as I am ageing rarely do I come come across things that excite me incredibly or that make me feel like a kid again. This hotel is beautiful inside out and the staff and service is exceptional. We stayed at in a club premier room which was a bit expensive but the club floor access and the extra space (we had a 14 month old with us) was well worth the price. Things I loved: - Exceptional Sauna / Jjimjilbang / gym facilities. I went there everyday and this are the best facilities I have seen anywhere in the world (I have travelled reasonably extensively) - Club floor – the spread was reasonable (not exceptional) and was a good option to have when we couldn't go out as we were with a baby. The evening cocktail service was our daily ritual - Outdoor pool is phenomenal and heated (although a bit crowded) - Sometimes a robot delivers orders to your table or small items to your room - Rooms are well furnished and looked recently done Things that can be better: - I can't think of any really

Rooms are old fashion and dated in this hotel for a 5 star. There is certain smell from the bath and fan sounds are loud. They charge for requesting shaver and some amenities. There is good space in the room but it needs massive uplifts. Most hotels in Korea have usb chargers around however, with this hotel, it doesn’t. Further, the light switches are a all or nothing option, no sectioning or individual switches. Location and services in this hotel is excellent. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and shopping which can be done. Also, for tourists, the hotel is technically in the central area of all touristy spots, taking taxis to either end of Busan is the same amount. I enjoyed the convenience of the location.

5-7 min walk to the metro station. The staffs are nice and helpful. Overall it’s above average 5 star hotels I’ve used.

Please don't book or stay in this hotel. Everything here seems like a Ponzi scheme to take your money after you pay a heft price for the rooms. We paid 1300$ for two nights. They don't provide basic amenities like toothpaste and toothbrushes. In the name of the “rethink” campaign to “reduce waste,” they don't provide toothbrushes and paste. These items are left in the mini bar and you will be charged for this. Pool access is again charged at 40,000 won per usage. This is not a “luxury hotel”. It feels like a ponzi scheme where they charge you upfront and then keep adding more charges. The room is ok but has a weird musty smell. For the money this is not good value. The staff are polite, but that's where it stops. I suggest you book in advance and get better hotels in Busan.

Centrally located, this hotel is perhaps one of the best to go to all the attractions in Busan. It's a 5 star hotel but don't expect 5 star service or new rooms etc. Biggest disappointment is the pool is paid even while staying as a guest (for the room we booked) - roughly about $120 USD if the whole family went. It's conveniently located next to the Lotte shopping centre and eating places so food was easy. Rooms are clean, but very very old. The whole hotel has an old vibe to it. Wouldn't place it in the "luxury" hotel group either. When we booked - it was a good price too, comparatively. Wifi was woefully slow and not secured.

Stayed with my family and notably service was exceptional from porter to reception. The room is a little older but was very spacious and clean comfortable. It is attached to the Lotte dept mall and dinning area so it was very convenient . We enjoyed our stay at Lotte Busan and Busan ✌️

Rooms are average, location is good, charges for the pool. Never in my life have i had to pay seperate to use the hotels pool. Not sure why you would book this hotel if you need to pay extra for everything. Sorry but will not be returning to a lotte hotel in future. Book somewhere else, save the money for good food instead.

I had a great experience at Lotte Hotel Busan. The room was nice with a great view of the city. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and were able and willing to help me even though I spoke English. Their English was actually pretty good too, I might add. Lastly, the area where the hotel is located has a lot of places to shop and eat. Finding the hotel was easy too. It's connected to the Busan subway via the underground mall system and the Lotte Department Store. Just follow the signs when you get off the Seomyeon stop on the orange (1) and green (2) lines and you can't miss it. 10/10, would recommend to any traveler, both Korean and International.

The food was generally good and most of the workers were kind. However the hotel had various disadvantages. First, the hotel did not notify costumers that they are closing the gym, pool, and the sauna for couple of days before reservations. We had the whole day planned with going to use the gym and the pool but because the hotel didn’t notify us beforehand we had trouble finding other activities. Secondly, on our last night of our stay, our family smelled cigarettes from the bathroom. Because the bathroom didn’t have a full door, the smell came to the bedroom. There wasn’t any window we could open so we couldn’t even open the window for fresh air. Two of our family members are minors and wherever the smell was coming from it was obviously not good for their and our health. The sickening smell went on for more than 10 minute so we eventually wore a mask. It was nighttime when this happened around 11:30 so we couldn’t leave the hotel room. We had to go to bed but since the smell has traveled all the way through the main room, going to sleep was very difficult.

Very friendly staff and everything is high-quality yet affordable, will highly recommend Lotte hotels in general. Special mention to front desk manager James Park! Concierge lady on NYE evening overpromised us that taxis are easy to flag from Gwangan beach, so we took her wors for it. But in the end we got stuck waiting for taxi for more than one hour. James went above and beyond to help us secure a taxi when it was impossible to do so. Really appreciate staff who go out of the way - a bit strange that the hotel does not have 24 hr service with a taxi company, but overall still very professional job well done from their staff.

First time stay in lotte busan hotel, first impression a luxury hotel on the top of luxury mall.. the check in was easy and very organized, the room was spacious but quite old but modern enough and high tech. The let down was there are no razor, brush and toothpaste provided, if you care about the environment you can provide sustainable products with sustainable materials right?? Anyway i wasn't really bother much with these issues.. The area was great, somyeon area has plenty of good foods and shops. Lotte mall also great, plenty of high end to affordable shops and the most important plenty of foods down there! Will be returning back to lotte hotel busan next time.. Great experience and very convenient!!

Men sauna's forbidden less than 13 yaers old, why? they give the information after the booking. the final indoor swimming pool a child less then 1.40m can t swim without life jacket, the excessive safety! i'm a father responsible, i know how to swim. i will no let my son die in the swimming pool. how a child can learn swim with life jacket?. stupid rules!!!
