The hostel is located right on the river with some cool cafes and a brewery right around the corner and a night market right across the bridge. There's bus stops around everywhere too so super easy to get around the city, for example bus 66 stops around the corner and takes you directly to the famous wetlands. The room had a cool modern, industrial design and was spacious with it's own private bathroom. There was a shared kitchen area on our floor of private rooms too. Downstairs is a nice cafe/bar where you can relax and have breakfast and coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. The staff was really friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Highly recommend this hostel!

I visited Suncheon in May 2016, and when I arrived in town this hostel was just putting the final touches on construction before they opened. I stopped by to say hello and get information on the place, and ended up getting a personal tour. The facilities are great: clean, spacious, take into consideration personal privacy and communal living. There is a pub/cafe on the first floor, and it's perfectly located on the river with great views from all the rooms. I went back later that day to inquire about anyone in the neighborhood who might rent me a bike for the day. The owner said, "We have bikes here. You can use one." It was a brand new commuter bike with a big basket. I took it out for about 6 hours, and returned it. The owner did not charge me anything. Dormitory was clean, the beds were comfy and the kitchen, shower and washing facilities were all great. One tip would be to ask a member of staff to produce an infograph on how to use their washing machine as it's in Korean. No complaints about the warm breakfast, and the name "the Basterds" for a pub is hilarious!!! Yellow slippers are a potential tripping hazard (particularly on the stairway), but would visit again when I'm next in Suncheon!
