Did A half day tour lasted started at 7:40am at hotel and finished at city hall at 2:30pm. It was a jammed packed tour with little time to spare at each of the sites. The guide’s English was acceptable, but at times difficult to understand.

One should definitely join the tour to experience what korea has to offer. With the super hospitable staff, delicious food and historical places to visit, this experience made me learn more about korea as a nation. A great way to explore the DMZ if you are in Seoul.

Very interesting place to visit. 1st stop at Imjingak Park is a pretty place with lots of opportunities to learn about the Korean war, amazing views and beautiful sculptures and monuments. Gets very very busy though. 2nd stop was the observatory where you can see across into North Korea with clear weather, one of the only chances you'll ever get to see into the hermit kingdom and the city of Gaesong. 3rd stop is at the 3rd Infiltration tunnel where there is a museum about the Korean War and the history of tense relations since the armistice was signed. You can go down the tunnel and get to 170m from the border. Best not go down if your very very tall or overweight. Last stop was at a village just for coffee/snacks etc. Tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and clear. Definitely recommend, but be prepared for an early start (06:00) departure from Gongdeok Station.

Must visit! Take a guide and go, its an unforgettable experience and so you can learn more about the relationship between North Korea and South Korea!!!

It’s a 3 hour trip where u can try and get to the closest point to North Korea border from the South Korean side. Both countries has been in deadlock since very long and eventually stopped fighting and eventually the line of unofficial ceasefire. One of the most famous borders in the world , if time permits you got to see it.

Excited to see the DMZ, little disappointed that the tour made it feel like Disney. However, amazing views, fascinating facts and the usual hurried guided experience. 1 visit should be enough.
