This is the place where the demonstration of March 1 against Japanese ruling happened in Korea. So it is called "3.1 movement stairs". We use number for months such as 1 월 for January, 2월 for February and so on. And the 3.1 means March 1.

I am a big fan of Korean dramas and I found out "what is wrong with secretary Kim?" drama had a scene there and I had to visit. I loved the place, it is located close to the Seomun market which is also in the same drama. Besides it, it is a historical place, near the first Presbyterian church of Daegu too. I liked visiting and would recommend it to other fans of the drama too.

(Translated by Google) It is a stairway located on the way to Cheongna Hill next to Daegu Jeil Church. What you see during the day and what you see at night are different. The Taegeukgi is always fluttering, and every time you go there is a new feeling.

It is said to be a historical site of the March 1st Independence Movement. There are photos on the staircase wall. I think it would be a good idea to read it slowly.
