It's a truly beautiful spot in front of the ocean with big waves crashing into the cave. It's a sacred place, it has a history that I couldn't explain to you because I don't know it. But don't worry, there are always very friendly and welcoming staff there, they can tell you the history of the cave. I was going there for a rod fishing trip. It was a great time, I loved it.

Danger! A cult of the worst kind. First we were welcomed and invited to stay for a few days. When it was dark, 15 men suddenly stood around us like the Ku Klux Klan and hit our vehicle with thick sticks, telling us to leave immediately (at night). An unfortunately not uncommon experience in Senegal. The people here are anything but hospitable. You are not welcome here.

A peaceful place of worship, suitable for a short half-day retreat. “Xuntu ba” represents an important place in the Akhlou lahi (layen) community.
