Newly opened Indian restaurant across from BOMA and one of my favorite restaurants. The first time I walked I was a week before opening, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Despite having only been open about a two months, we have patronized at least 5 times. At the opening ceremony we sampled many different dishes, all of them delicious and well seasoned. Our favorites are the Butter Chicken, Garlic or Plain Naan, and the Daal Makhina. The only reason I haven’t give. 5 stars is that they are still working on their service times, but they have been improving. Tip: Order in Advance for pickup or dine in to ensure less wait time.

It took us a year in Dakar to find a delicious Indian restaurant near our home, clean, friendly service and staffs are well trained. Reasonable prices and wonderful place for friends and family gatherings ! Bravos !

The food is DEFINITELY better than the other Indian restauants in Dakar. The ambience and the food is nice, but the quality of the rice isn't very good and the Indian-Chinese food isn't great either, which they should work on. Otherwise, like I said it's far better than the other Indian restaurants and I recommend!!

Great food but in some moments a bit disorganized, called in advance for a meal, we arrived and 30 minutes into waiting they told us we would have to wait another 20 minutes to clean the tandoori oven for our naan. The food was good when it came though, hopefully they can improve on their communication & service!

This is amongst the best India restaurants in Francophone…!!! Good taste, staff and services..!!

Excellent food and service with very authentic flavors. We enjoyed the fish, vegetarian dishes and two types of naan plus gulab jamun. All served hot and with perfect level of spices . I was vary if the customer service after reading some reviews but no issues there either. The service was excellent and very consistent. I also tried the shisha on terrace and that was good too. Definitely better than other two Indian restaurants nearby . I hope they keep it up!

However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a proper Indian restaurant named "RASOI - THE FLAVOURS OF INDIAN KITCHEN" which had a great selection of food and welcoming vibe. In this review, I will describe my experience dining at Rasoi and provide my honest feedback. Ambience: Rasoi - The Flavours of Indian Kitchen is a spacious, clean, and well-lit restaurant with bright and modern interiors. The ambiance is pleasing and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The restaurant also has outdoor seating with a bar, which adds to its appeal. Additionally, the parking space available in the front is a plus in Dakar, where finding parking can be challenging. Food: The menu at Rasoi offers an extensive selection of dishes for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find several options to choose from. The food we ordered was delicious and had near-authentic flavors, which made the experience memorable. The restaurant had paid attention to detail in the preparation of dishes, which showed in the taste and presentation of the food. Service: While the food at Rasoi was exceptional, the service could have been better. The staff seemed inexperienced, and there were some hiccups in the service. However, the staff was friendly and tried their best to make us comfortable. Excellent atmosphere with kids playing area. Ambience was great. Billiards table in first floor where food is also served.

Finally Dakar has a proper Indian restaurant with good selection of food and welcoming vibe. The restaurant is spacious, clean and has bright interior. There’s outdoor seating with bar. Parking space available in the front which is always a plus in Dakar. The menu has plenty to choose from whether you’re a carnivore or vegetarian/ vegan. Most food we ordered had great and near authentic flavors, which can easily make Rasoi the best Indian spot in Dakar. However, service can be bit lackluster due to inexperienced staff which I hope will improve in future. Worth a try.

For a country like Senegal. The food is good. Would love to see more South Indian cuisine though. Otherwise, this is by far the best Indian restaurant in Dakar.

It’s a fine place to try authentic Indian food. Delicious stews, lots of choices, they have vegan options as well, sometimes the barbecue and grill smoke can bother you.

Excellent .. a real classy affair after years (decades) .. at last an Indian Restaurant that can live up to the name of Indian cuisine... The only reason I give 4 stars on service is that the ambiance was really good and one expected more... but well done.. Dakar now has an Indian restaurant that it can boast of.

I would definitely come back again to curb my indian food cravings! I ordered the mutton briyani which came with raita, masala tea and nepali appetizer called chicken momos. It was tasty and served quite quickly. The waitress spoke english and was very attentive. The masala tea was authentic however they added too much sweetened milk. The mutton was soft and falling of the bone. The taste is truly indian and i was not disappointed. I ordered chicken tikka pizza for takeaway and even that was delicious.
