Nice for lunch by the pool. This is also in an area that I really like. It's very close to the US embassy and about a half hour taxi from downtown. The food here is really great and the staff was super friendly. You can lounge by the pool or you can eat at one of the tables if you like.

Garo did like an oasis with an inviting atmosphere, wonderful covered outdoor dining with great natural ambiance surrounded by a green wall of plants. The service is exceptional and the food is great. Hummus pita and other traditional Mediterranean fare was on point and tasty. Definitely a Gem of Dakar

Lovely place and lovely staff but the food is a big of a let down. High prices match the vibe and attention to detail, but the mezze we ordered wasn't superb. Plenty of food though, three big waters couldn't finish it!

Really fantastic Lebanese, always filled with a middle Eastern crowd with great atmosphere and a good band playing soft music. The sharing mezze plater for two is MORE than enough food for four people.

They have a jalapeño hummus that is really nice. The warm mini pitas are the perfect size to help you not over eat on bread. I had the beef brochettes that were the most tender and flavorful I have ever had. They had a wide desert tray. I had the chocolate mousse. I ate it so quickly, I forgot to offer any of my friends a taste.

My favourite restaurant in Dakar so far. I love Lebanese food and this didn’t disappoint. We ordered one platter per adult, added chips and shared with 4 hungry kids. Food was fresh and tasty; loved the chimchurri and the hummus. Best was the almond Persian rice. Puddings were good and the service was relaxed and friendly. Loved the decor and cleanliness. Great location as not far from the museum and the TER. We used the parking which was easy too. Will definitely go back.
