Upon
check
in
the
hotel
charged
100
EUR
as
a
deposit
against
expenses,
promising
to
refund
it
upon
check
out.
I
did
not
incur
any
expense,
in
addition
to
the
room,
which
was
charged
separately.
At
check-out,
I
was
told
that
the
charge
was
refunded
but
it
was
not.
A
few
days
later
I
noticed
that
the
charge
was
not
refunded.
After
nearly
2
months,
despite
countless
emails,
the
hotel
has
NOT
refunded
the
charge,
despite
admitting
that
it
should
be
refunded.
The
only
word
that
I
can
find
for
such
behavior
is
fraud.
Novotel
Dakar
seriously
damages
the
brand
name
of
Novotel
and
Accor.
UPDATE:
The
response
by
the
hotel
is
utterly
ridiculous.
After
70
days,
they
have
not
refunded
in
full
what
they
should
never
have
charged
to
start
with.
Instead
of
refunding
100
EUR,
they
just
refunded
75
EUR
70
days
late,
refusing
to
pay
anything
for
my
inconvenience
and
their
incompetence.
