Worst hotel experience in my life. Do not believe the photos of the rooms you see in the website. Cold showers were the minor of the problems here. Towels were changed with new ones that had been clearly handled with dirty hands. The toilet was dirty with feces of the person before. I found big roaches in my bathroom during the night, and when I asked (politely) to have a room change, I was first told there were no rooms left. After insisting I was brought to another room, however as the whole building seems to be colonised, the problem was not solved. I saw roaches walking on the buffet table. This place should be torn down completely and rebuilt from scratch. The pool and the view are not worth it at these conditions.

There was a mouse in our bathroom. We were brought to another room that was infested with roaches. On the other hand, the staff was super nice and the pool was beautiful. Just wish management took better care of the property and made the necessary renovations.

This establishment used to be one of the best in the whole of West Africa, today it is in very serious need of a thorough "overhaul", major capital expenditure needs to be made to totally remodel the whole property. It's location is second to none, it just needs an upgrade.

Great vintage hotel, very quite and a unique ocean view, sunsets are unique.

This is definitely a vintage hotel in a good location. However, communication problems made staying here an unpleasant experience. If I returned to Dakar, I'd stay somewhere more modern. The first day I went to breakfast and it was fairly meager, it wasn't until the 2nd day that I discovered, they would prepare eggs for you if you asked the right person. Again, no communication. The staff seemed helpful, and if they really were I could forgive the dying roach and all the mildew in my bathroom but their help always ended up in causing more problems for me.

My room had an amazing view straight on the ocean. The hotel is a bit outdated but very clean and staff are friendly. It got a huge swimming pool, but the jewel is the little private beach!!!

I can honestly say that the staff was amazing. I have to acknowledge Lamine at the bar. He is a beautiful soul and he made our experience so very welcoming. The rats on the premises were huge. I've never seen anything like that in my life. The rooms had mildew and I could barely breathe. The breakfast was the same everyday. They didn't have bath rags only towels. It was a nightmare for my business. Hosting a tour to Senegal with a group and it being our first time there, this was NOT the best choice of stay and I would never do it again. I will definitely be back to say hello to our friend Lamine!

The pool staff is terribly rude. And there is no shade.

Located on Dakar's Corniche, this waterfront hotel is a thrill. Its experienced bartenders blew my mind off with their cocktails. Adding to the charm of this plush seaside hotel.

The room was filthy. Bad smells, stained carpet with finger nails, bad water pressure. The sheets were clean, the room door was very hard to lock. The breakfast was mediocre and there was the biggest rat I've ever seen. Never will I ever stay here again.

Zero water pressure. Cold water. Dark, rusty bathroom. The worst shower of my life. I cancelled my 5-day reservation after they were unable to fix the shower the first night (and couldn’t seem to find a better shower to offer.) The entire hotel is old and poorly lit. The carpeting in the corridors and bedroom was old and dirty. I would not recommend staying here. There are other similarly priced hotels in the center of Dakar with much better facilities.

The view over the ocean and a large pool are great. But that's about it. Best years are decades ago and not much has changed or been refreshed. Dirty carpets, darks rooms, but the worst was the bathroom and shower- not only no hot water, but even the cold one hardly dripping. Shower head also broken and rust on the side. Staff didn't seem to be very surprised when we said this was the reason why we decided to change hotels after first night. No thanks.

Ideal for outdoor lovers: An Olympic swimming pool, a Tennis court and a private beach. The garden is also very beautiful and green. It's a pleasure to wake up to the sounds of birds. The staff is extra friendly and helpful. It's an old building, rooms are not clean. You get the odour of moisture. If you're looking for a modern, clean and luxurious room I don't think this is a good alternative. It's easy to find cockroaches or rats in the bath☹️

A comfortable hotel with a huge swimming pool and in a lovely location. The food there was extremely good and portions very generous.

Savana Hotel have beautiful views. I have no experience with their in-room service, however for event management, they have ample space.

The place is very nice : the pool, the view, the restaurant. But not a big fan of the cooking, the small rooms the classic key to open doors and the bad Wi-Fi connection. Once again the view is awesome at sunsets and sunrises

Stayed overnight here. It's somewhat better hotel/resort to Senegalese standard. Rooms were just ok, nothing much to appreciate but no wifi in rooms. Food was tasty and had some good variety. Swimming pool also looks well maintained though i didn't use it. Location is good with sea facing rooms. But windows were shattering and no proper insulation from wind and mosquitos. In night there was storm and the wind was coming in room and loud noise of wind couldn't allow me to sleep

Rooms clean, uncluttered with adequate places to put luggage. Restaurant good catering for wide range of tastes. Gardens and grounds well maintained. Olympic size swimming pool and tennis court.

Great hotel, a little run down but retains a lovely romantic charm. Staff is great, rooms and facilities are clean in a green environment. Views are delightful and better than a luxury hotel because it has a noticeable soul. You will feel at ease here.

This is an amazing hotel. I found out about it by accident, but, definitely will come back with my family next year for a proper holiday. My room is overlooking the pool and the ocean. It felt like heaven listening to the ocean roar in the morning... This place is just so beautiful and you don't have to break the bank for the price.

It’s a great location 50 meter pool which is impressive, the restaurant food was great. Breakfast food is rough nothing fresh going on. Coffee machines made for average drinks. If they improved the breakfast and internet I could get behind this place. For the price you feel you should get higher quality.
