Rooms are smaller than expected but clean. Food is good and seems quite popular. Weekends are full for the little pool.

We had a amazing vue of Goree Island. The place is good for an escapade with friends or significant other. I went there for a work event and it was pretty cool

Pros: The location of the hotel is unmatched. It is a walking distance to Gare De Dakar, Independence Place, and the ferry to Goree Island. The staff were courteous (initially), and the owner,Jean Micheal, was helpful. When we couldn’t charge our gadgets, he bought us a universal adapter. The free breakfast was also really good. I particularly enjoyed the fresh bread and eggs. Cons: When you need to iron, you have to take it down to the staff, and they iron your clothes for you… which is an awesome service. However, the girl burnt my pants and did not say anything. It was later while I was out in town that I saw that my pants had a hole from iron burns. I would have appreciated her owning up to it. The bathroom drainage gets clogged and water will flood the floor in no time, as this is a wet-style bathroom with not enclosure to keep the water in the shower area. Staff also became a bit unfriendly towards the end of our stay. Not sure what caused the shift in energy🤷🏾‍♀️. Lastly!! This hotel needs to do better in the area of food cleanliness. Several times, I saw the staff use their FINGERS to put ice in glasses for patrons.The first time was the guy who makes cocktails. I saw him use his bare hands to put ice in a cup while making cocktails for a guest! This is unacceptable, and it turned me off majorly. I also saw one of the young girls in the restaurants do the same. It is appalling (esp in covid times). No one knows where your hands have been! I hope management corrects this immediately. Other than this, I enjoyed my stay here. The price was right, hotel was comfortable, and location, amazing! I will definitely stay here again. 4 night trip with friends, Oct 27, 2021

Pros: safe and central location Cons: - ridiculously small breakfast (One baguette and one croissant each with butter/jam. Plus an orange juice and coffee/tea.) - Super smelly bed linen. You could smell it outside in the hallway with a door being constantly open for ventilation - Clogged drain in the shower. 3mins in the shower the bathroom was flooded - Once the hand soap was gone we didn’t get a new one and the shampoo dispenser in the shower was full but nothing happened when pushing the button - Expected far more for 80€/night

Excellent spot for a calm, relaxing day. Great view by the sea, the food is very good and you can go for a dive in sea or in the swimming pool.

Nice spot-- beautiful view, ocean breeze, sparkling clean pool. Food was very slow arriving, but drinks were prompt.
