We went today a group of friends to Loman Art House to admire the place, the art inside it and the cuisine. We ordered in advance Moroccan food. The place is an oasis of beauty, calm and happiness. The art is original and telling. The food was fantastic (entrees followed by three types of tagine and a nice dessert made of oranges). Highly recommended place for anyone with good taste!

Loman Art house is an absolute gem, and was one of the highlights of my visit to Dakar. It’s very easy to locate, free to enter and the staff are very courteous and nice. You get to view lovely art, see the tortoise and sit by the pool

Outskirts of Dakar. Interesting art throughout. Somehow rated on top things to do in Dakar. It’s not. Mediocre food.

Don’t come without booking the Brunch beforehand!!! They just serve you with Senegalese brunch, which was okay but DID NOT worth 15 000 cfa for each person (as picture attached). We were given the menu and then when we decided to go for sth on the menu instead of the Senegalese brunch, the waiter said they only serve Senegalese brunch, nothing else on the menu is served today. (Why would he gave us the menu in the first place. There were no omelette and crepes served so we asked, and they said we have to choose only one which was ridiculous because they are on the different categories on the menu. Also, the waiter did not mention that the orange juice was not included when we asked, so they charged extra for 2500F, for each drink. My first time here I had an amazing Moroccan brunch, I did booked ahead so maybe this time it was my fault that I was disappointed. I met the owner last time, she was very nice. I believe she did not know her staff did this to the customers.

A fantastic oasis in the midst of a bustling city. Gorgeous art & rooms, a lovely pool with many places to relax. Delicious food should you find yourself hungry, and incredibly friendly staff (and dogs!). Great vibe and a gathering place for interesting people from around the world.

This place is a treasured jewel!! I still can’t believe the beautiful art and gorgeous rooms. From the moment we walked in the front door until we walked out this lovely art studio/ restaurant/ this tranquil sanctuary was delightful. The owner was more than accommodating and such a lovely hostess. Loman is an exceptionally talented artist and her art will keep you wandering and exploring little and big treasures within this sweet space. I recommend highly that you do yourself a huge solid and book this splendid retreat either for a few nights or even just for their delicious food. . We will definitely return and send friends.

I have no words to describe the beauty of the place. However, I can say it is a MUST for visitors to Dakar. A cosy atmosphere in an indescribably authentic place that has been decorated with great attention to detail.

Gorgeous property with loads of patios for an evening drink or meal after a day touring Dakar. My room was clean. Bed comfy. Perfect location. Walk to Africa Renaissance Memorial and Lighthouse. There’s frequently live music in the evenings. Food was good. Staff professional, caring and attuned to your needs. Safe and secure. Very different from the giant, expensive Euro-style resorts on the ocean. I didn’t come to Dakar to stay at a resort. This place satisfied my every need in the amazing, exciting city.

I loved spending my day here. The cafe is lovely, surrounded by exquisite art that blew my mind. The staffs were amicable and accommodating to our tiny French. I can't wait to go back in the evening and see how it looks at night.

Bought some art from there - Loman had a great collection of her own art and displays from other artists. Lovely place as well. Great outdoor space for food and drinks, a recently renovated roof terrace and pool area. Highly recommended

If you like art come to Loman and you will fall in love with living in art. We had such a lovely stay at Loman Art! Even though we had a challenging vacation for other reasons, the staff at Loman’s really made the vacation enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean and inviting. The ambiance of the hotel is truly inspiring, it made me happy to wake up here every day and I felt very safe. Lots of lovely dogs to pet too - which always is a bonus. The breakfast was good and coffee amazing! There was also some really good suggestions for food that we could order in when that was the mood. Just ask and the staff will help you navigate the big city. Thanks for having us Loman Art House, I would love to come back next time!

An absolutely lovely space filled with art, greenery and comfortable nooks where you can spend time reading, working or catching up with friends. It’s one of the most relaxing spaces that I spent time in on a recent trip to Dakar and I left feeling inspired by what Loman was able to create!

"One stop shop" - versatility, creativity and beauty. Warm place, kindest staff and a welcoming environment for all ages. Restaurant with an amazing atmosphere, almost oasis vibes, away from all the background noises of the city, in the heart of the lively and colorful Mamelles district. Food that is made with love and satisfy the soul and the body as one. Unique and beautiful art gallery that shows images and visions of the day to day life in Senegal, captured by observing eyes and presented with delicate and very talented hands. A tranquil backyard with tropical feelings and a gorgeous pool to escape from the heat with a cold bear, fresh juice or just a cup of coffee. All are welcome in this magical place, to see Dakar from a different and refreshing perspective.

Just stopped by for Sunday lunch and left before eating. When we walked in the staff seemed very put out that that we came for lunch, and not very welcoming. When we looked at the menu most of the lunch menu was crossed out. Very disappointing. Maybe coming back at a different time will give a better impression. However, I would love to go back and just look at the gallery!!

In the heart of Mamelles, apart from bringing the chic to our beloved neighbourhood through her refreshing artwork, Loman Art and Art Café has fast become our home away from home! On offer are delectable delights which caters for families as well as those with a finer palate. My all time favourite is the Sole. Many long lazy days have been spent by the poolside during our summer vacation.

Since the reopening of the Loman Art Cafe, my wife and I have been twice. Once for a very tasty lunch and the second for a beautiful dinner. Not only was the food delicious both times, but the general ambiance and beautiful space that is to be expected of Loman Gallery, did not disappoint. We felt safe and well distanced from the other guests and highly recommend a visit.

This is a hidden gem! A wonderful experience - would give this place five stars for even one of the following features: delicious breakfasts (not to mention the top notch restaurant), the uniqueness of staying in an actual art gallery, the friendly and welcoming staff, and the spacious and comfortable rooms. But for all of them? If i could give six stars, I would.

Loman Art House is guaranteed to be a pleasant stay, whether you’re traveling alone or with a loved one. The owners and staff make you feel right at home, the space is gorgeous and the rooms are extremely comfortable. The novelty of being able to stay in an actual art gallery, relax by a pool while eating delicious, made-to-order meals, and having a relaxing but vibrant environment were the best way to spend our vacation. We even extended from 2 nights to 4 for the aforementioned reasons. Staying here gave us easy access to the rest of Dakar, there were great restaurants nearby, and nightlife, too. For our early morning flight, a prepared breakfast was waiting for us in the fridge and a trusted cab service was arranged for us the night before. I cannot recommend this place enough.

A true oasis in the city hustle. Beautiful art everywhere! Best mosquito netting ever around the bed. And last but certainly not least: Loman, our lovely host (English speaking), such a caring person; she's a gem! Not very close to 'le plateau', but quite doable by taxi (CFA 3.000)

This place is a hidden gem, which is a joy to discover! The ambiance is excellent, the mix of shade, sun, fresh air and tropical plants takes you to an oasis of the mind. The service is wonderful, the music touches your soul. All this against a backdrop of nooks and crannies of art and seating, spread out amid 3 floors. There are even rooms for rent! I am almost hesitant to speak about it, my secret hideaway may be no longer that.

One of my favorite places because of all it offers-restaurant, a space to study or meet up with friends, an event space with monthly food buffets and meet ups, an Airbnb, and a changing gallery space. The space itself is so beautifully curated and a welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of Dakar. Loman, the owner, is incredibly kind and generous. Her dogs are also insanely cute.

This place is absolutely fantastic!! The atmosphere is ideal for relaxation and it's instagram worthy! Moreover, the staff is also really friendly. Although my French is broken, they are patient and so gracious. Some of them even speak English. We had a bottle of Chardonnay along with the Ethiopian buffet and will certainly return for both. You can tell making the guest feel comfortable is their main priority of Loman Art House. I highly recommend it!!!!

Beautiful and peaceful place. All you see is art, well designed. Staff is very kind and food/drink raisonnable. There is swimming pool too. Best place for remote work as very quiet and with wifi But best place with friends and family too. We recommend for sure 👌

Our food took 1 hour to cook. It was not tasty and expensive. I'll give 2 stars though, for the effort of the owners to decorate the place with art.
