This stadium is named after Senegal’s former president. Did I just say former president? Aah! He is their first president and a godfather to many of its elite politicians. His good legacy earned him this- a stadium named after him. The stadium is one of Senegal’s most famous and well built recreational ground. It is easily accessible and accommodating too.

Can't ask for more if you're looking a typical African environment. The people are very nice and although is a poor 3rd world country, this is by far one of the safest place in west Africa. Dusty, Sandy roads, and rugged, and not for the faint of heart. The food is awsome especially the roast (DB).

Lots of fun, but be careful and stay alert for people trying to rob or assault you. Stay in groups!!

Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium, formerly the Stade de l'Amitie, is a multi-purpose stadium in Dakar, Senegal. It is currently used mostly for football matches.

A shame on this beautiful and historic jewel is being taking care of , the keep around the stadium is filthy and that should not be the case as the bigger stadium in Dakar

Easy to access, yet, the environment is very crowded because of many old taxis, bus and mechanic parking

Especially during national games of "La lutte" it s a national and traditional sport in Senegal. You have to watch a match before leaving senegal.

😠 Receptionist of the gym is very rude and has zero knowledge how to treat customers. She was watching football and couldnt move her to speak with me. When she was asked to move she was very impolite and started shouting and threatening. The coach of the gym came to help as soon as he saw a problem. S...
