Great place to watch the surfers. The food is great but the toilets aren't very good. Don't always flush or have seats but the food & view is amazing & very cheap priced.

Very cozy and yet lively place. Just be careful when you sit outside, merchants will endlessly come and try to sell their stuff but it was quite manageable though I think. Good starting point to surf and many people enjoyed playing football, kites and badminton like sports.

Yeah, this has a lithe but if beach in front of it which seemed excellent for surf. Reasonably priced burgers for catching late lunch and hawkers seem to have caught surfer vibes and we’re too laid back to really hassle. Real range of people, older surfers, backpapers, a few locals and service and food were good.

A beautiful place although the service is mediocre and slow unless you’re a european or american or even mixte race “tourist”. But for us black senegalese we practically served ourselves and I had to go back and forth with the staff to have so ketchup and lemon, I ended up with the same sauce that was on the plate. Just to say make sure everyone is happy even if they speak the same language as you. Stop prioritizing we’re also clients and we pay the same.

I love this place. It's a nice place to just hang out and enjoy the beautiful views. The atmosphere is very laid back. I order a glass of wine and just relax. It's a good place for people-watching too.👀 People from all over the area come and chill, eat, drink and just have fun. It has become my favorite hangout place while in Dakar.

I really like the atmosphere here. You can meet many people from different backgrounds and it's the only plastic free place that I know in Dakar which is a big plus for me.

Great place to cook and go surfing. Super nice staff and a lot of them. You can just hang, eat, chill, swim and sometimes party as well. A must see in Dakar. 100% Senegalese owned business. Supports local people. One of a few places where all people meet with our without money. Definitely worth going and supporting

Great place, great atmosphere, affordable and good food. You can take also surf lessons, rent boards and wetsuit. Great parties on Friday night usually. Go for it !

Babacar runs an excellent shop. I’ve spent many days enjoying a surf lesson then enjoying some good lunch and a beer on the water, all for low prices. Highly recommended.

Only affordable and good quality food available in the vicinity of Virage. The place is always full and animated. Service closes 10pm.

Authentic spot, great owner who is conscious about protecting the environment (no plastic water bottles sold here). The food is nice too, try the Lotte skewers!

A great local bar, restaurant and surf shop. Come for surf lessons and surprisingly good food. They also sometimes have DJs later in the evening/night which is a good vibe.

A great local 100% Senegalese owned bar and restaurant with a fantastic view! One of the best places to catch the sunset and people watch while enjoying a vast selection of exquisitely prepared food and drinks. The fish and chicken are to die for! The staff is exceptionally friendly and kind. The owner also gives surfing lessons and is one of the best instructors in the city if you ask me! If you're ever in Dakar, do yourself a favor and head over to Copacabana. You won't regret it!

😠 Horrible service and not so good food. Waitresses are lazy and rude, and meat served is not always fresh. Quality of restaurant has dropped with new ownership as current owner focuses more on decor and marketing. Only good thing about this restaurant is the location.

😠 I came in, ordered a coffee and a brioche. I'm not Senegalese; I'm a foreign visitor, and last I retrieved money from the bank, I could only get round numbers, no change. I didn't have 1,100 CFAs, only 1,500, so when I ordered, they told me they would have to send someone to get change. This was fin...
