This is European style clinic in Dakar. It is not cheap but if you need urgent help cash doesn't matter. Care, equipment and doctors are excellent.

I called 3 times at different times to confirm an appointment, I was put on hold and finally hung up on me. The same switchboard person I have every time transfers me without even finishing speaking. No consideration for customers, a shame, lousy service.

there is also a good restaurant on the roof top, very affordable and good quality, amazing view over the sea, i strongly recommend!

We had an emergency which turned out to be appendicitis! Although some bad reviews on here scared us away initially, we wasted a whole day before realizing this was a fully equipped hospital with Western surgery options like a Larascopic appendectomy and transferred here to get it. (an appendix surgery which doesn’t leave a massive scar). People are petty and leave bad reviews, but when your life is in danger, this is the hospital to go in Dakar. Well treated, attentive and professional staff, nice rooms with AC and showers and tv.

I received very unprofessional treatment at this clinic. I went with a broken finger and the doctor who saw me didn't align it correctly, then put it in splints and told me to keep it for a month. After three weeks, the other fingers started turning blue and I went to see another doctor, at the Pasteur clinic. The doctor there told me it was too late to do anything, that my bone was misaligned and that I should've received weekly x-rays to make sure the healing was happening correctly. Now, five years after the incident, I have regular pains in that finger and some loss of mobility. All due to that very unprofessional doctor in Clinique de la Madeleine, who rushed things and didn't care about his patient's health.

The clinic is clean but the nurses are not very involved with their patients. It seems they are more concern about how they can maximize your bill than to help you and make you feel comfortable and taken care of.

I was nervous about piercing my daughter and a friend recommended the clinic to me. Very disappointed she used the old fashioned method using the earring directly and not with the gun. Plus she did it very badly because it's been 3 weeks and my daughter's ear is still bleeding even though I clean it every day. I think there are women there doing their thing under the table. I do not recommend to anyone

The reception is truly deplorable. I spent an hour calling and calling back, and being tossed from one line to another by the very haughty switchboard operator telling me that the secretary of the doctor I was supposed to see wouldn't pick up. After a moment of endless back and forth I finally suggested that he take the message and pass it on: radio silence to finally ask me which doctor I wanted to see and throw me back into the waiting loop without a response to a request. I was in pain on the other end of the line, but if you asked that person what I was trying to say they wouldn't be able to answer. I wonder if they have a conscience in this hospital and if they would appreciate being treated the way they treat people if they were ever that sick. As a healthcare professional myself, I find this truly immoral.

Very unprofessional service! I was followed by Doctor Aidibe but even making an appointment is very difficult! The assistants are very arrogant, the switchboard never answers. I went to another gynecologist (Doctor Rokhaya Thiam from the Gyneplus clinic) who was more available and more professional.
