I have to say my expectations were low for this hypermarché since the other auchans in Dakar are not great quality. But I was pleasantly surprised. It’s great to see this size of a supermarket in Dakar (not a hypermarché as they are in Europe - more like a normal sized supermarket - but still good). For everything I checked, the prices are the cheapest I have seen in Dakar. Great selection of products (from fresh produce like blueberries, to a decent selection of school gear, hardware and the like) - hopefully they can keep this variety up in the months after the initial opening. Checkout experience was slow but hopefully just teething problems. Plus there is good parking out front (well marked with good spacing) although a bit small given the apparent demand (which will only increase when the Decathlon and KFC open). Overall it feels like a step in the right direction for Dakar and will be our go to supermarket.

By far the biggest Auchan in Dakar… you’ll literally find everything you need in that huge supermarket. Love it.

Don't miss this spot if passing by Dakar, it rates for me humbly like the Monument de la Renaissance and other famous places to see in order to say one has visited Dakar!!!

I think this is currently the best place to grab your daily used stuff in Dakar.. For your food you can anything from rice, pasta, semolina, meat, fish, and definitely all your groceries...etc And you also have a restaurant inside the supermarket (The food is so nice and you will like your breakfast there)! "Drinks"? No worry you will get everything from natural juice to soda, wine, alcohol... etc You have also everything from clothing to shoe and some hats. You have an entire shop for sport's stuff. You get all your parfums, cosmetics..etc For car and/or bike owner's; just pass by and you would get variety of tools and stuff for your maintenance. Quite a large section for treats(Sweets, chocolate, gum, ice cream... Etc)! Honestly I can go one but I guaranty you you will be able to find almost everything you need in you daily life in Dakar and the prices are really fine compared to other supermarkets in the city. And more important is that all theses stuff are in one large shop on the ground floor! No need to go up or down for shopping; you park just outside in a large parking area and just step in the shop.

I'm giving them 1 start because I can't understand that they want customers to wear mask when most of their employees weren't wearing their mask or were not wearing it properly.

You can find just about any groceries you are looking for here. Much cheaper than the main rival supermarket. It can be very busy on weekends.

This supermarket offers a huge variety of goods, reaching from Senegalese to European products. Also there's a nice ice café next to the entrance and a laundry service. Prices are of course quite high due to the imported products.

Nice supermarket. You will find, what you need. Enough space to shop and look without blocking somebody else. Big fish, meat and bakary section. Fruit and vegetables have nice concept of presentation, but nobody seems to care about rotten or damaged products. Please manage that section better

Biggest Auchan in Dakar, with the most ample variety of products. Two things not good though (just like the rest of the Auchan stores in Dakar): fruits and vegetables are far from being nice, it's quite disappointing, and they have almost no gluten free products, very few. For the rest, it's the best in town.
