I rode the train in May 2022 and was quite happy with the experience, which was akin to riding the LIRR in New York. The train is very quiet and the staff are friendly and professional. Clean trains and gendarmes on the train as well as at every station. Power outlets between the seats in first class and automated announcements are made in French, English, and Wolof.

Good, clean, wel-designed and maintained station where staff are very friendly and helping. (I left my cap on the train, and a gentle staff dashed to find the one for me. It's incredable !) THank you.

Dakar railway station was the main station for dakar city Which was the capital for Senegal. The design of this the dakar railway station was very excellent as we can see from the outside Arch it was very well planned and even the maintenance was also being carried very well as inside station was very clean and hygienic . The station was almost empty all the time as only very limited train connectivity was available to this railway station. This railway station was located near to the dakar port area.
