It's located in a short distance boat trip on the Atlantic ocean off the coast of Dakar. There are many local boats to rent. A small rocky mountain with beautiful shallow beach to swim makes it a wonderful place for a half day trip. For lovers of photography, walk to the top of the hill and walk through the bush to wards the western and southern part of the park. One can walk to most of the area in an hour or so. À national Park with rare plants and birds 15'from Dakar. It's a pity fishermen don't respect the protection zone.

Great atmophere. But dont forget to bring your own food with you because it can take hours untill you are picked up

Good isles of the birds (and the snake!)

This place is a nature reserve and as its name suggests does not have any modern technology. It's the dream place when you want to get back to nature. It has very beautiful coves with waters whose clarity in places is similar to that of the Pacific.

Perfect adventure..

Actually it should remain a secret location. If you have a day off, it is certainly worth a visit. Renting an umbrella is worth it. Also ask for a guide to give you a tour on the island.

Bring your bathing suit, food, and a snorkel.

One of the most mythic 🏝 of Dakar with very nice views and the rocks' architecture is beautiful and amazing to see and of course the rare species of insects. 🐞 You'll pay 5000 FCFA for the traditional "gaal" (African canoe) to go there but one advice, don't neglect the tents : it's usually very hot there.
