We bought a vacuum cleaner and first day of using it, it was getting very hot after 1 minute of using to the point you could smell something burning. I bought an electricity regulator because i thought maybe the vacuum was receiving too much electricity at once. It didn't help. I then called the store and they told me to bring it back to the store for the technician to look at it. The customer service from the bold old middle Eastern man was really disappointing as he was rude and unprofessional. He seemed to be the manager running the place. I truly believe if we were white or middle eastern, we would get better service. It is a shame that Africans in their own country get to be treated like this. I won't be shopping at Orca anymore. The black employees were the ones trying to help us. Customer service is horrible. If you buy a defective item, you are on your own. They won't even bother finding a solution.

This place is huge, very nice, has pretty much everything we need. But If you come here as a foreigner or dont speak Wolof. Think twice to come alone. We had a very bad and very racist experience at THE CARPET SECTION at the 2nd floor. I came there, no one accompany us no one standby to help us or guide us. I still can understand because it is 1 hour before the closing time because we spent some hours bought some chairs and table at the 7th floor (Thank you Nabil who managed to give us good price) But the worst part is when we just CHOSE the 2 carpet we want to buy, suddenly 1 staff passed through to us, he said he will come back.
