BOMA Lifestyle Hotel

Hotel

👍👍 Excellent food and drinks, never too crowded, good pool and music. It is however pretty expensive for small portions of food and small drinks. (UPDATE): They seem to have increased portion sizes, and have gained back the last star. 5/5. People often mention staff, hotel, good, pool, nice, restaurant, Boma, service, great, stay,

The service was incredibly slow, well they seem to be apologetic, there's frankly no excuse for the horrible service. Maybe the good service is reserved for the white people.

A very nice a welcoming space with lots of greenery and nature. The rooms were clean and had everything you would need for a nice and comfortable stay. The food was also really good and the daily breakfast option is a good value for all you get, the pancakes are really good. There are no pull out couches so if traveling with kids 10 years old or older, you will need to get a separate room however they do offer an extra bed in the room if traveling with only one child for a fee. Overall a very nice and green friendly hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

I loved the rooms and the spaces were beautiful, however I had a full day or so with no internet and it really impacted my visit. We had to call several times and it took a whole day or so to fix. Otherwise, the staff, especially the restaurant staff and Die and Jean at the front desk were very helpful, and I enjoyed the rest of my stay.

Stayed and dined at Boma during my stay in Senegal. Hotel Boma isn’t located downtown but more in local area filled with shops and the hustle and bustle of local living. It is a tad bit far (~20 min taxi with light traffic) from the downtown and main tourist attractions. But overall my stay was very pleasant. The pool area is beautiful and so incredibly peaceful. The restaurant on site has some really good Senegalese staples and some international cuisine as well. I must say the staff at Boma were so incredibly kind and accommodating. They made sure my stay was a pleasant one. I rate this hotel 3 stars though because my hotel arranged airport shuttle never showed twice. I landed in Dakar at 2 am and since I was arriving in the middle of the night I wanted a dependable/trustworthy transport. But the Boma Hotel shuttle never arrived and I had to find a taxi at 2am. Then when leaving Dakar I arranged a hotel shuttle from the hotel to the airport and yet again the shuttle never showed. I almost missed by flight because the front desk attendee kept promising that the driver would show and an hour later he never did. I yet again had to take a taxi. The hotel manager was there overhearing my frustrations and yet did not a single thing to make it right. That was deeply disappointing. With the airport transfers never showing for both rides it left a poor taste in my mouth for Hotel Boma.

It's the breakfast for me! It was yummy 😋 Also, the very gorgeous and artsy space with beautiful artwork displayed. The pool is very clean and inviting and makes you want to get in even if you can't swim. The staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. P.S: thanks for the voucher BOMA! 👏🏾😁

Really great and helpful staff (hard to find in hotels in Dakar), great food, not too expensive. Nice music at the pool at night. Nice small villa's, mostly all natural materials. A small gem in a big city. We'll be back.

Great structure and amazing staff. Every detail is very well curated and make you feel like home. Highly recommend 100% worth it. Not the best breakfast of my life but the restaurant is really good.

Nice place. The staff is very nice. Unfortunately after a certain time (8 or 10pm, I can't really remember), they don't serve some of the things on the menu as the kitchen from the partner restaurant (Marina Bay) closes but it's definetely worth a turn.

A very nice place to go either at night or during the day, it’s definitely a whole different lifestyle. I appreciate the environment and the staff (at least those I found there) were so kind and so available. I give it a 5 ⭐️

a delicious place, nice music performance, relevant staff, chickenburger was nice, there weren't some products on the menu, more variety is needed, especially international cuisine, a very pleasant place by the pool, extra fan and protective measures should be taken for mosquitoes :)

Excellent! The staff, the location, the pool, the service and the club. Great spot if you're a Creative (versus Pullman which is much more business I would say). So happy that we stayed here. 4 nights was perfect. Good value for money too for the room

Boma hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel in Dakar. I love the vibe here, our suite had a pool and it was the best thing ever. I definitely want to come back here

I had a great dining experience at BOMA Lifestyle Hotel’s restaurant. Ideally located away from the crazy hustle and bustle, but still close enough to the centre ville… The boutique hotel’s ambience is very niche. The resturant and bar is next to the pool, which adds that extra level of pizzaz. I visited during Ramadan, so it was very quiet, but I’ve been told this is a great place for drinks and vibes during regular times. The menu is primarily based off of tapas style dining, but there is also an additional menu with more hearty entrees to choose from. The staff were incredibly friendly, and attentive.

My husband and I really enjoy both the hotel and the restaurant at Boma, which we visit regularly. The restaurant is fun, yummy and the staff is adorable. I love the outdoor terrace by the pool on days it isn't too hot. When it's too hot or humid, I prefer the indoor Air con room. The cocktails are delicious, especially the spritz. The hotel rooms at Boma are clean, comfy and the design is really cool. I loved the bedding and the light roof in the shower. The sustainable/eco-friendly complimentary toiletries and glass bottles for water are clever.

Great and peaceful. Has a beach hotel feeling with bungalows and lots of green.

Only been at the bar and club on Saturday. All i can say is that if the rooms and overall hotel is anything similar to the club part, then it must be amazing. Not only was the service amazing, all staff warm and welcoming, nice, the ambiance was literally lit, the interior design and decoration superb! Not need to say that I'll definitely be a frequent goer!! Keep up the good work!!

Super relaxing atmosphere, very mellow, good service. They have a diverse menu, with various appetizers, entrees, salads, seafood, strong selection of veggie options, and both local and imported beef. You can get a tomahawk steak, or caramelized pork. They have two types of burgers. I had the Louisiana BBQ burger. Super fresh. I asked for it medium rare, à point. And it came that way. That was surprising. Usually burgers just come well done no matter what you ask for. Excellent cocktail menu. Really, Really good. Margaritas to zombies. I had an apple margarita, best I have had in Senegal. And a Vanilla sky, Vodka and lemon, it was perfect. Had the gnocchi. Sort of a small portion but perfectly plated and tasty (please increase the portion. Gnocchi is cheap). You can sit poolside or by the bar, there is a main dining room. They have off street parking, high walls. Super discreet place. If you want to get away from Dakar, and have a civilized drink and dinner, check this place out. You’ll forget you’re in the middle of a loud bustling city. Clean restrooms and off street gated parking! Haven’t checked out the rooms yet. Next time.

This place is beautiful and so calm. It is amazing how you can be in the middle of the city but feel like in a sophisticated retreat. The room are nicely decorated and the restaurant serves an authentic and delicious food. If you are into salads please try the "Crevettes Dynamique Coleslaw". Big up to the Chef! This was beyond delicious!

Solid choice to stay in Dakar. Friendly staff, a very good restaurant, and private rooms situated om lush, well manicured grounds. Very comfortable beds. Not everything is perfect though: the hot water is served via individual tanks in each room, so the showers will have to be short. The noise from the airport and street is noticable. Didn't seem to have much to offer in walking distance.

A little bit of tropical paradise hidden back stage of a busy neighbourhood. Amazing staff. Great food & cocktails. Love sitting around the pool or strolling through the gardens Tastefully and gracefully bringing out the senegalese vibes, using lots of local and traditional materials but all the while staying up to the trend. Definitely my hot spot, but if you know me, then you know that :-)
