Long canoe with an engine costs 1000 return trip (at least for white folk) 2000 smaller motor boat. Wet landing. Peaceful island two small beaches and surfing paradise in the other side.

Great place to visit. The boat trip is good, they are 2 types the ordinary and the VIP, both are great. After the short boat ride you reach the island. There is surfing, fishing and a good beach to swim. The food and drinks are not too costly

The official shuttle ferry guys will try to take more money from you then the actual fare (1000-2000). There are scammers who talk to you on the beach to get as much out of it as possible. Kind of ruined the experience for me. The island is pretty but not special.

Easy access.... but you need to be patient because the scheduling of the boats ain't accurate.... also remember to be respectful because the African tribe who live and operate those business dont like disrespectful peoples ( theirs names THE LEBOUS ) OVERALL EASY ACCESS AND SAFE CONDUCT RELATED TO THE BOAT RIDE.... THE PRICE IS DIFFERENT DEPENDING IF YOU LOOKING FOR A SHARE RIDE OR A PRIVATE RIDE.....

The beach is a bit dirty. Everything can be cleaned there, from animals to fish and other. There's a clean part but it's a private beach. Now, you can cross to the other side, that is the island to enjoy clean and relaxing beaches

A convenient and relatively cheap way to visit the Ngor island. The pirogues aren't luxurious in any way or super comfy but they really get the job done and will get you there in 5 minutes or so.

Awesome! Definitely very artisanal and raw! Very nice people and wonderful hospitality. Oumar Seck from sunu makane is admirable and trust worthy. Ask for him if you want a safe boat transport to the ngor island.

Shame on the local peoples who doesn't respect that sometimes is better to let a toubab take his boat to the island not trying to scam him as isn't a tourist..... This isn't helping the view that tourist will give to the Ngor village and peoples in general.

The cheapest and most convenient to go to Goree. It's just 500 CFA per person for round trip. Dont bother with local people who might try to take you to the island by their private boats which is exorbitantly expensive. This big boat service is not the most comfortable way to transportation but still it's alright since the ride doesn't take longer than 5 minutes.
