So beautiful and inspiring! A must see if the weather is nice. The whole area of Sundborn where the museum is located is beautiful with nice little shops and cafés around.

When you are there, you still feel the atmosphere of Karen and Carl Larsson. Of cours because of the paintings, but maybe more of the designs of Karen. They are still modern.

The booking experience could be clearer, but the tour guide and the house is amazong!

Beautiful building and interior, the quintessential arts and crafts house, moreso than anywhere I've visited. It is well worth the trip to Sundborn. It is not particularly child friendly however (which is ironic considering Larsson's work). No buggies in the house, and I wouldn't recommend it for children between 2 and 8 years old. The tour guide closes the doors as you move through the house and any chatty children were not looked upon kindly.

A dream come true visit. You must be on a guided tour but you can choose a language that suits. Guides are all wonderful and full of love for the place. A Red Letter Day.

You must book inn advance. Small groups tour in the winter Great guide. No photos allowed inside but that lets you concentrate on the amazing studios and work on the walls. We didn't know Carl's work but still interesting for foreign visitors like us

English guide rushed and short for the amount you pay. Also did a guided tour in Swedish about Karin and her textiles, this was a lot better and she shared more details.

Well preserved house and arts. It is worth the visit. The artists had full of love to Arts and with their family.

One of the best museums I’ve been to in Sweden. It’s hard to reach but it’s worth it.

Came again after 30 years; still wonderful. Like stepping into the paintings themselves

Inspirational, if visit here, expect to go home and paint a picture or write a song.

The garden (Hyttnäss) near the museum is lovely. The guided tour was nice and interesting (taking photos inside the house is not permitted). Had a very good lunch at the cafe.

Beautiful garden that I visited on a sunny day. I didn't go inside Lilla Hyttnäs (the Larsson house).

The museum of Carl Larsson is just amazing! In the middle of Dalarna it is about as Swedish as it gets. The museum is still run by Carl and Karin descendants and they live in the house and actually use everything so it is very much alive.

Interesting little historical home of Carl Larsson. Beautiful garden. Guided tour is the only way to visit inside, available between every half an hour during summer, 180 SEK.

Tranquil setting. Original home of artists Carl and Karin Larsson, still owned by the family and the current generation live on the property. In excellent condition and a great portrayal of life at that time. Art, crafts, tapestries, needle work, wall painting, photographs and books mix with the original household furniture.

Very beautiful place. The guided tour (in Swedish) lasted about 45 minutes and was really interesting and informative. The café is nice. It has a good lunchbuffet for 125 sek.

It is a beautiful place to go to. You can experience Carl Larsson and his wife Karin‘s idealistic and creative artistic life in the late 19th and the early 20th century. Together with Anders Zorn, Selma Lagerlöf and other artists in the same era, they laid the foundation of the typical folk culture of Sweden. The area of Värmland and Dalarna with its striking natural beauty, became the center of the movement of returning to nature.

Very expensive entrance fee and then the worst guided tour I have ever experienced in a museum. The guide was extremely unmotivated and didn't even smile during the entire tour. There are hardly any famous original paintings by Carl Larsson on display. The house is beautiful, but you are herded through the rooms like cattle and don't have time to look at everything.
