Close to the best pie ever! Will definitely be back and recommend if passing through. Had pepper steak - Top quality chunky meat, may be a tad too peppery for some however hard to fault quality and taste. Get in early as this place is very popular and options sell out. Was keen to try a steak and mushroom.

I'm not a big fan of pies, but this place had me converted. There was even a line outside the store, so I guess it's not a secret. Amazing beef and mushroom pie. Also not novelty pies with Big Mac and Cheese burger flavor!

Yes their pies are as good as you've heard. There are no prices for any of their products so you don't know the costs till you pay. Very difficult to find a clean table but good was good and customer service was very good.

Have been multiple times to visit. Absolutely delicious pies and coffee. Try the Big Mac pie, you won't be disappointed...

I’d reckon these pies and slices would give any others a decent run for their money. Haven’t had a pie that wasn’t full of real meat and gravy yet. The slices are world class. Always busy and happy to serve you

15/11/23 Lovely bakery! Called in when driving through Blacbutt for a pie and coffee. Bakery is on the main drag through town, clean, tidy town. Hubby had Lamb & Rosemary pie, and I had Red Wine & Garlic pie. They both were YUMOO! Nice place to sit down inside the barkey to enjoy our pies. Also bought a Date Loaf, which looks very moist and full of dates. Can't wait to have for afternoon tea!

Always a great stop for a good coffee, even when I like it a little stronger and a very sweet or savoury treat. Over the years, we have stopped here many times and have tasted different things, I love their pastry. The service is always friendly. I'm sure we'll stop over here in the future.

Enjoyed one of the nicest chunky steak pies I have ever eaten. The pie was full of flavour, had enough gravy inside and big chunks of tender steak. Pastry was flaky too. Really enjoyed stopping in here and will continue to do so when passing through town. Also tried some sweets but the pie was the winner for me. Tried the vanilla slice (custard filling) and the zesty lemon slice. The vanilla slice was very sweet and made in the traditional way. Need to eat it with a knife/fork as it can be hard to get through the pastry. The filling was a very vanilla tasting custard. I couldn’t eat all the icing topping as it was too sweet for me. My partner liked his zesty slice but said he could have shared it. Next time we will try something else there but will definitely be returning. Highly recommend! Cost us $27.80 for all of these items. Which I think is reasonable for being freshly made quality items of a decent serving size.

Beautiful pies. Filling goes all the way to the top. Full and good size chunks of meat. A near perfect ratio of meat, gravy and pie case.

Delicious food everytime! We have tried a few different things including pies, sausage rolls, sweets like brownie, cheesecake.. it is hard to choose sometimes because there is lots on offer and they all look delicious.

We really like the food here. Always very fresh and delicious. The service on the day was not great. I do understand they are busy, but the shop assistant could be a bit more patient with browsing customers.
