I come here every month, I love the grilled calamari and fish. It's the best Fish & Chips restaurant in Melbourne. Highly recommended!

Very friendly team that serves delicious crispy and crunchy deep fried seafood. Can't ask for more! Always enjoy our meals here and hope they continue to serve the same high quality food long into the future!

Update: Second visit and the food did not disappoint at all . The owner and Executive Chef, Evan is a gentleman. He cooked the Charcoal King Prawns by himself for us and they were delicious. If you are in or around Burwood One shopping centre, do try Hunky Dory. The fish tastes great here. The restaurant is very clean, tidy and aesthetically decorated. Staff are very friendly and help you select the right dish from the menu. Food is not expensive and the amount of amazingly tasting food you get, is more than value for money. I will be visiting them again. They deserve it.

Had a lunch today at Beluga Bay. I had a grilled seafood deluxe and It was perfect. The fish was fresh and delicious. I will definetly recommend other to visit this restaurant. The staffs were friendly and the service was fast as well.

My favourite cuisine. Great price quality quantity and extremely healthy. Owner and staff are extremely flexible in catering for those on strict diets. You won’t be dissatisfied or disappointed. Try it out.

I used to eat here at Hunky Dory and loved it. Everything was cooked so well. I thought I'd try the new company out but I was left sad and unfulfilled on my takeaway meal. Had my usual type order of the Mediterranean grilled seafood pack. Picked it up at half an hour as requested. The deep fried fish and chips were soggy and chips floppy. The chips were intensely yellow, had a higher number of grey looking ones than I would expect, and some brown things (probably floaty bits from old oil). Fish batter was flat, and not light and crunchy. Portion size was small. Calamari cut so thinly they they couldn't grill it longer leaving a nice golden brown that I'm used to from other shops. Rice was ok. Slaw was bland, mostly cabbage and could hardly taste any dressing. The only nice part was getting tartare sauce and small lemon slices with the fried fish. Just a little gobsmacked, but hoping for everyone that this was just an off day. Or they had cooked the food too early and it was sitting there cooling down and getting soggy at the half hour mark. It was not value for money and did not hit the mark from a standard fish and chip shop. Phone service taking the order was also cold which didn't help. Although the lady giving me the bag was friendly and cheery.

Hi, I ordered the salmon grilled with chips and salad, the food was good, but the portion of the fish was small. I mentioned that to the staff, but they said it comes in 160-200gms portion so it looks a bit small but it's equivalent to a fish meal for a person. I was a bit upset with that as I was expecting a big protion, of salmon and small portion of chips and salad. When you pay $25 for a meal, U expect that you get what you pay for, and I was expecting a good portion of salmon with chips and salad. Overall, the food tastes good but I wish the serving size of the fish was a bit more than the chips. We were at the place today and ordered lunch for the wife and daughter. The manager there is always pleasant to deal with. We thought that the fish was undercooked and showed it to the manager. Seems like that's how this type of fish is supposed to be. The manager was kind enough to explain and offer a better fish which was actually more expensive and he refused when I offered to pay the difference. This is our third time here and we love the food. Will be coming back for sure
