Classic dive bar where the bartenders and regulars know each other. The food is also excellent! The cheese plate is my favorite. I might be able to survive on nothing but the Prairie Breeze.

Super unique atmosphere in the heart of Lakewood. Good service and very tasty food. My brother got the meatloaf and Mac n cheese which was so yummy! It’s a bit of a dive bar, but in the best way.

I never leave reviews, but I just had an amazing meal. I ordered the mussels using Door Dash. They came piping hot and tasted amazing. The portion was huge compared to what I expected. I would have easily paid twice as much as what they charged. Fantastic!

Vibe is dive. The food, excellent. We come here after our late workout with our workout gear and our plastic Birkenstocks. They have always made us feel welcomed. Drink pours are extremely generous. Not pretentious, not too dive-y.

One of the few proper pubs in the true sense of the word. A consummate neighborhood restaurant; friendly and welcoming, affordable, and better than it has to be in every way. The bartender is attentive, charming, intelligent and attractive. The drinks are strong and well made. Great beer and wine selections and a rotating menu you could enjoy every day of the week.

Dark, cozy, music isn't overpowering and this is gourmet level of food. You like cheese? They got you covered. Bring a friend here you haven't seen in ages and catch up over great appetizers. Here's a photo of the house specialities!

I had the Toro burger and it was delicious. It was reasonably priced too given inflation. The inside was clean and the staff were expectionally nice. Can't wait to try more of the food. Lakewood

We go here for date night. The dive bar atmosphere is deceiving. The food is consistently excellent. The ladies, Christina and Vanessa are fantastic. And I love that there is a juke box.

One of the best kept secrets in Dallas and easily the best spot to eat on the East side. Try the blue cheese burger and mussels. The brunch is also phenomenal- Cadillac breakfast sandwich is a go-to.

Had the Blue Bull Burger with roasted redskin potato wedges... The burger was GREAT! Really liked the potato option and was skeptical, but they pulled it off admirably. I'll get a pic next time.

Amazing neighborhood dive. They have good food, my favorite being the gyro sandwich. They've got plenty of different beers to choose on tap and very friendly staff to serve it. It's a nice corner to escape the world for a bit.

I know I am not alone when I say that this place is my home away from home...been coming to the C&B for 13 years. I truly appreciate that nothing about this place has changed, besides a menu rotation. The food is FANTASTIC and ever overpriced. The staff is super consistent and rarely turns over, which is almost impossible these days! This means they care about their business, take great care of you, and make great conversation. Bonus points for a 100% guest-controlled playlist via TouchTunes - and most of the time people choose good stuff. ;) I LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Pretty average bar food. I got the Rueben melt and it was alright. Meat was a bit rubbery, I don’t think there was cheese on it, pretty bland over all.

A small town knows your neighborhood like a bar. The people are extremely friendly and the staff even more so but the food is ohĥh so good

Great dive bar/pub with reasonably priced, great quality food. Got the clam noodles with red sauce and it was delicious. Staff is super nice and atmosphere is great for chill hangouts.

Don't bother washing your time with this hole in the wall. You would think a English style pub like this would have at least a dart board nope. It was small and dead. It needs a renovation for sure
