The Capital Grille was the perfect fine dining restaurant! We try and do at least 1 fine dining date night a year, minimum, and we like to try different places every time. It will be very difficult not to come here on our next night out. We went in the middle of the week so it wasn't busy at all. They have valet at the door to park your vehicle and everyone working there was very pleasant. Our waiter did an incredible job on every aspect. He offered great recommendations, was very observant and was quick to take care of anything we needed. We really loved the beautiful sculptures placed around the restaurant. We ordered the rack of lamb, butterfly cut, and it was the best we've had yet! Also ordered the filet mignon with onion and 2 sides for the table. The sides were asparagus and mushrooms, and both are absolutely top shelf! I couldn't get over how juicy and delicious the mushroom were. We shared a bottle of wine to drink and the wine prices were very reasonable. Our waiter even offered to drop the wines temp more in needed, but it was perfect on arrival. We've been to a dozen or so fine dining restaurants in 3 different states (California & Nevada are the other 2) and this is one is by far the best one we've had! Not that there was anything wrong with the others, this one just went above expectations all around. 100% WOULD RECOMMEND EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!

Went for our anniversary dinner and the entire experience was wonderful. Amazingly friendly staff which has been hard to find in the last year. Food was phenomenal and cooked to perfection. The creamiest and most flavorful mashed potatoes that I still dream about. Anyway for those worried that a friendly relaxing restaurant is hard to find do yourself a favor and come here. They were extremely patient even though we were late because we were unfamiliar with how to find the entrance.

We were a first time and came here for Valentine’s dinner. Food was delicious and very nice decorations. Greg Baugh, the one who was served our table, was very friendly, professional. We will be back and would like to request him again. Delicious food and great service 👍🏻

So here’s the deal. Yess Capital Grille is worth it. I was skeptical when my husband came back from Seattle after eating at their location and told me he wanted to take me out here in Texas. I freaked out when he told me how much it costed and even when I read the raving reviews. After going out for a family night, I take it all back. The food is exquisite and top quality. Our table host was above and beyond, he met every request with a smile. We had a reservation for 5pm right as they opened and we were given immediate seating, so I don’t agree with the review that says they don’t honor reservations because they do. We decided to park in the self park garage which was $10 for anyone wondering. I think on the weekend it’s a set price? Otherwise it varies by the hour. You can take the elevator up/down to the appropriate level which is conveniently marked. There is also valet parking available if that’s more your style. We were started off with a basket of different types of breads, reminded me of Germany so I was impressed. I haven’t had bread that fresh since my overseas travels. It was served with a pat of butter lightly salted and with our drinks, of course. I ordered the Salmon which was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was delicious. The green beans were salted just the way I like mine. Hubby ordered the tomahawk chops and completely obliterated them, that’s saying a lot. We both ordered mashed potatoes but we could have gotten away with just one order; however, we took the extra home to enjoy later. And let me tell you, we enjoyed those potatoes. Every bite. We ended our scrumptious dinner with brûlée and I was hesitant for hubby to order because I’m not a caramelized brûlée kind of girl. This one was tasty though, it was served with an array of strawberry, blueberry and raspberry on top. You guys, the manager came over to our table after our meal and thanked us! What? He even chatted with us a bit, it wasn’t rushed either. He seemed to genuinely want to strike a conversation with his guests. It was a relaxing and beautiful meal from start to finish.

I celebrated a birthday here with a small group and upon my arrival they were sooo sweet and upgraded us to a private room which we all enjoyed sooooooo much. The food was absolutely remarkable not one complaint from anyone. I would highly recommend the lamb chops. Julio was a pure pleasure and enhanced our experience with top tier service, made cocktails and main course suggestions. He was an awesome photographer as well as an outstanding server. Request him whenever you dine in, you won’t regret it! Get dressed up and make plans with friends or a special someone and enjoy the beautiful ambience, the fine dining, great cocktails and have a great experience.

We came to The Capital Grille in celebration of our 25th Wedding Anniversary; and it couldn't have been more suited for the occasion! The food and service were both excellent. The decor is lovely and the atmosphere was perfect. When making our reservation I shared that we were celebrating. The staff made it a very special evening and included a hand-written note at the table. We will definitely return!

I got to celebrate my birthday here this year. It was my first time visiting one of these locations. Service was great, food was amazing, and even got a birthday dessert at no charge. Will definitely come back!

My husband and i came here for our anniversary recently. I was so impressed with the cute note they left for us on the table. I really enjoyed eating here. Everything tasted amazing. Steaks were perfect. We had the Crab cake which was hearty, the mushrooms and parmesian fries were delectable. Out waiter July was outstanding. He did a great job and if you go in definitely request him. He took really good care of us. They even brought us a nice little dessert to sample for our anniversary

The atmosphere is good with lots of space to sit. Parking is paid and underground but Capital Grill pays for that. I tried sea food and it was good. Not too salty or greasy. Of course this restaurant is pricey. I felt we were rushed through appetizers and meal like they would like us to finish and if there no more order, leave the restaurant. I think capital grill is photography friendly but remember like most of the restaurants there not much light here.

Service was incredible. Attention to detail, consistently filling my water without asking, checking in on me constantly, and giving complimentary items for my friend’s birthday. The food was even better than the service. Steak was perfect. Mashed potatoes were creamy. Lobster Mac and cheese was insanely good. 10/10. I’ve been to some of the other high end restaurants in Dallas, and this is easily my favorite.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a delightful restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was simply enchanting, with soft ambient lighting and tasteful decor creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Now, let's talk about the food – the culinary journey at this restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. The menu boasted a variety of delectable dishes, but the stars of the evening were undoubtedly the lamb chops and lobster mac and cheese. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked to a succulent tenderness, seasoned to perfection, and served with a flavorful sauce that elevated the dish to a whole new level. As for the lobster mac and cheese, it was a heavenly combination of creamy, cheesy goodness and tender chunks of lobster that melted in your mouth. Every bite was a harmonious blend of rich flavors, making it an instant favorite among the diners at our table. The attentive staff and impeccable service added to the overall charm of the evening. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and recommended the perfect wine pairing for our meal, enhancing the dining experience even further.

Celebrated one of my buddies birthdays here mid October and it was a great experience. No complaints at all, I felt welcomed as soon as I arrived, parking was also a breeze in the garage under the restaurant. Our service was amazing, it was about 8 of us and she did not disappoint, went above and beyond for us and gave us some complimentary champagne to toast after we finished our meal/dessert for the birthday boy. The salmon was incredible, it was a nice size portion and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were very good, I've been to the Austin location and each time Capital Grille lived up to their name.

This restaurant is superb! All of the food was amazing! From the appetizers through dessert, everything was top-notch. The service and atmosphere were both excellent as well. It's pricey, but it's worth it.

Our server/bartender, Stockton, was wonderful. Please ask for him if you are ever here. We were treated to a wonderful time and he knew exactly when we needed anything. He gave us off menu options when he noticed we were looking for something a little different. I’d highly recommend the sea bass. And any drink Stockton recommends. We were seated in the bar/lounge area that was smaller and it was some comfy and secluded. It made the experience even better.
