Party of 6, parking was easy, in a lot right next door for $10.50. They added a 20% tip "for large parties". Pros: I liked the decor and atmosphere very much, we were able to talk at dinner without having to yell to be heard and the staff were all very friendly and personable. The chicken fried Quail was excellent, the pork & collard greens were unique and good also (both appetizers). The salads were all pretty good. The lava cake was outstanding. Cons: service was SLOW (we didn't mind a lot as we were visiting with friends, but if we had a show to make our some other engagement, it would have been a problem. When we arrived at 6pm, they weren't too busy, by the time we were done at 9pm they were very busy), I expect they are short staffed. The service was okay, but more what I would expect at Chili's (forgotten appetizers, sauces, etc.) than a nice steak house in Dallas. The unfortunate bummer was the steak. None of them were cooked as ordered. Mine, NY strip, was ordered med-rare, came well done-. Another was ordered med well & came very med rare. Just to be fair, we didn't complain or send them back & I expect they would have made it right, but the mark Ashley took 3 hours, I can't imagine having to wait for steaks to be redone. Overall enjoyable evening, but I had better steak a couple of weeks ago at Texas roadhouse for less than half the price.

My, my, my… where do I begin? Business lunches with industry partners are always very productive. Meeting for lunch at Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse definitely set the tone for great things to come of our meeting. The creative juices were flowing like crazy. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome, impressive decor and an inviting atmosphere. Our server Sheldon provided these first timers with impeccable service from arrival to departure. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating, warm and friendly. Sheldon made amazing suggestions. Every menu item ordered was delectable, service was exemplary, the location was perfect, lunch prices were great and the vibe was on point🤩. There’s a handicapped entrance, a bar, a private dining room & an outdoor patio which would be perfect in the right temps. You will definitely enjoy every moment of your dining experience. Btw, the parking lot is not owned or operated by Y.O. Ranch. Thank you Alyce, you and Texas Title are appreciated for your contribution to us and our industry!

Delicious food with great service and atmosphere! A group of 4 of us were in the Dallas area for vacation. We happened upon Y.O Ranch Steakhouse for lunch when the original restaurant didn't work out. This was a very happy accident! Two of us got the french dip with fries, one got a soup (can't remember name), and other got a salad with steak. It was all excellent! The staff was extremely friendly, on top of our service, and helpful about the area. I highly recommend eating here.

Ate dinner here last night and had to make reservations day in advance. Yeah I miss fear was classy and friendly. Texas ranch themed decor. The appetizers where fantastic and the chili was delicious. They advertise their steaks as certified Angus from local ranchers and farmers and I can believe it. Some of the most tender and well cooked steaks we've had and the sides were delicious as well. The dessert menu is small but the options are all so appealing the ones we got were very good. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

I wish I could rate more than five stars, I had the most wonderful and delicious experience at YO Ranch Steakhouse. Our waiter, Jorge, was so kind and fantastic. He gave us a brief history of the restaurant (by request) and gave a complete rundown of the menu. He knew where the meat came from and was so kind and welcoming, we could not have had a better server. The decorations were so classy and our food came quickly. I had the bison filet, and the blueberry cobbler cheesecake. The mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes were the sides we shared, my family of four. Everything was absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The shop across the street is also a must stop. It’s in a fantastic area. If you are in Dallas, you must stop here for dinner. Dress nice because it is upscale, but it is so wonderful and my favorite place we have eaten.

Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse really goes above and beyond for it's food and customer experience. A great place whether you're hosting a corporate party or just looking for great food. I booked a large party here and even though the was a small mix up, they were very accommodating. All the staff were awesome especially the manager and waiter we had. The waiter in particular has worked there forever and had an AWESOME personality and great knowledge about the menu. All the food we had was amazing too. The Wild Game Trio is a must try! Also, the Wagyu Bone-In New York Strip was soooooo perfectly cooked was great flavor. All the sides were very good to especially the asparagus. Overall, awesome! For sure I'll be coming back here when I'm in town again.

Y.O. Ranch steakhouse is a family own business. Who's origins date back to the 1800s. The ranch was purchased from original owners and has remained in the current family. This downtown Dallas restaurant has all the charm and history that one would expect from a Texas steakhouse. The decor and ambiance exudes confidence and passion for their craft. Wait staff and management are courteous and knowledgeable in a way that only Texans pull off. When you place your knife and fork on the steak and that, oh, so satisfying first cut immediately tells you that this is going to be a great steak. Your mouth tells you hurry up. The price point is at the market for this area. $$$

This restaurant was Exactly what we were looking for! We were visiting local attractions and looking for something nice, new, and fairly inexpensive. Y.O. RANCH STEAKHOUSE was it! SHOUT OUT TO JORGE! PROFESSIONAL, WELL VERSED ON ALL OF THE MENU AND THE AREA, AND VERY ENGAGING! (good timing!) This restaurant has a very unique atmosphere! It's like "Country Mullet" Join entering, this place looks so fancy, with beautiful raised seating as well as a base and private dining. You look up, and they have a wonderful collection of Western memorabilia and mounted animal heads! What a fusion! We greatly appreciated and loved this place! From fruits to quail medallions, filet-steak sandwiches to Buffalo Ruben, the food is prepared quickly. There are great options across the menu. I ate the Buffalo Ruben and it was amazing! For all sweet tea fans, Y.O. is the place to go!!

Was downtown Dallas at Dealey plaza and was in the mood for a steak. Found the Yo Ranch and gave it a shot. Very nice decor. Very classy place as well with outstanding customer service. My meal consisted of pork belly with collared greens and a rare Ribeye steak. My steak was delicious and my coworker had a steak salad he enjoyed. My pork belly had an amazing taste. My only gripe would be that amount of pork belly is small for the price. My waiter was awesome and my overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this place but because it’s a better than average restaurant, you will pay higher than average prices, which is understandable. Come out and support your local businesses.

Great steak. Overall environment is great. This is definitely a casuals steakhouse restaurant and it shows with the dress code. Great for a quick bite and nice to have service for sure. If you are trying to impress someone or want to have a mind blowing date or event that is upscale I would say it isn’t the place. Great place for families

Wonderful service, and great food! The steaks were cooked and flavored well. Food arrived in a timely manner and everything tasted wonderful. If you like mac n cheese. The gouda mac n cheese here is really great.

Great place to have steak or branch out and try something new like bison, quail or elk. No matter what you order, you will be happy! Service was amazing and fast even with a large group and when they were super crowded! It was a little pricey, but worth every penny!

During my visit, I ordered the Prime Time burger (medium). The burger came with options for a side, and I chose the French fries. The fries were tasty, crispy, and well-seasoned. The Prime Time burger was delicious! Our server, Jorge, explained that they use different cuts of steak which they process through the meat grinder to form the burger patties. Speaking of service, we simply appreciated Jorge's attentiveness, especially during the lunch hour rush. As we waited for our food, our eyes were busy looking around the restaurant at the decor and taxidermy wildlife. The lighting was dimly lit and created a soothing dining experience. This location has plenty of room for big gatherings. I will advise that wheelchair access may be difficult because there's a step-up to enter the building, however, they do have options for alfresco dining. Overall, I would recommend the Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse based on my experience.

Awesome place! Love the style. Waitress was nice and a helpful guy stopped at our table several times, got us clean silverware and gave some history of the town!!👍 the waitress suggested we try the bacon venison rolls as an appetizer and they were amazing!! Also a must-try is the salmon and tomahawk!!

What a fun experience!!! We read that there was a dress code, and clearly, there is not. So, we were a bit over dressed but looking nice. The old fashioned was not exactly up to snuff, but decent. I expected the finer quality cherries, tbh. We both ordered the "Wild Game Trio", and it was outstanding!!! We also had the alligator sausage and sides of fresh spinach (which was a little salty for me) and the mac&cheese, which is always good. For dessert, we decided to try the Bone Marrow Sundae, and we were not disappointed! Wow! What a tasty, light treat! Next time we're in Dallas, we'll have to stop through... in more comfy clothing. 😏

We aren’t locals and found this gem through Google. The filet mignons were juicy, flavorful and cooked to perfection (medium rare). Our waiter, Marcos, was amazing. His recommendations, knowledge and professionalism made this an unforgettable experience. We would definitely try to dine-in again. Excellent experience!

Perfect is how I would describe my birthday dinner here. The quail is a must-have! All the sides are family style and fantastic. The Gouda Mac & Cheese is the best I've ever had. I ordered my filet mignon medium and it came out perfect. It absolutely melted in my mouth. Now, don't get me started on the beautiful building- Inside and out it has so much wonderful character. To top everything off, we received excellent and attentive service. I will highly recommend this local steakhouse over any of the popular and gimmicky ones in Dallas.

The decor screams steakhouse and the food did not disappoint. Make sure you open your pallet because there are many exotic wild game options. The venison roll ups had a unique flavor and were incredibly tender, however the pimento cheeses fritters were just OK. I really enjoyed the prime ribeye with the bone marrow butter (so juicy). Just be sure not to put to much butter on because it can actually overpower the steak taste. The service was really good too.

We had an amazing meal but even better Rory took us on a tour and shared with us the amazing history of the restaurant and the family that runs the farm. Rory was without a doubt one of the best servers we have ever had!
