Love the food wish we could of gone in, but since I had my kids I couldn't. Other than that I enjoyed seating outside eating and had a drink 🍸.

Mike and his staff are very offensive yelling at customers. I thought it would be a good place, but it was the most horrible night in my life. I just wanted to have a good night with some friends. But the management has to really think about having such bad staff in their location. I have 40 million views and I am sorry but they really don't know how to work with customers relationship.

This place was recommended by my server at another restaurant regarding having great old fashioned.... He was correct. The old fashioned was wonderful as well as the Manhattan....

Update: March 2023. - Neither food nor service have been less than stellar. Our comfort zone for Oak Cliff A perfect neighborhood pub with friendly staff, on point service, and fantastic Irish fare. The traditional Irish breakfast is not to be missed. They have also remodeled to create better separation in light of Covid-19, with an added benefit of allowing you to have some buffering of the overall nosie of the restaurant and have a more intimate experience at both the bar and the tables. So glad to have them in the neighborhood

Met friends for a pre-St Pat's dinner. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere and great service. Really enjoyed the food - shared the cabbage rolls and had the Reuben sandwich. My friend had the fish and chips and Irish breakfast. Just a great evening.

A dive bar, an Irish pub, or a secret hideout? It's all three. Or the one that you need most. The time I went, the service was good. A bartender forgot to give my friend a drink we paid for that night. The food was good. I didn't drink so I don't know about that. All in all, check it out!

My family and friend sat on the dog friendly patio with our pups. We enjoyed the curry and lemon pepper wings. Both were fantastic! After a round of draft beers, Jose suggested a cocktail. He asked me a few questions and then made 2 fantastic drinks for the wife and I. One a mix of a Negroni and Old Fashioned and a smoked old fashioned. Both were fantastic and unexpected from a "Pub". We really enjoyed the experience and suggests others to go!

Was so excited to experience what seemed to be an authentic Irish pub in Dallas. Food was decent enough but having just come from Universal Studios in Florida, I can say, the theme park fish and chips could give this pub a run for its money. Drinks were delicious and the service during brunch was great. Dinner on a Friday night yielded attentive wait staff and great drinks. The bathrooms need an over haul , as there should be one for women only, why? Because some men still do not know how to hit the target and I had to lay down paper towels for my heels. As far as atmosphere?? What does hard core metal bands or country music have to do with Ireland? Cool decor, fairly good food, consistently great service, but lacks atmosphere. Dead by 10pm on a Friday night says it all.

The food photo is a screenshot from the menu. The food didn't look that perfect, but everything was on the plate. Some of the items seemed to be microwaved. The mushrooms tasted best. The eggs were very good. Everything else was ok. Our server Nanita was great and my favorite part of the experience. The entire staff was friendly. The coffee was really top notch.

Nice little pub with good food that hits the spot, tons of beer on tap, and my favorite; delicious cocktails.. My favorite being the expresso martini. Usually filled with friendly locals and decent music, it's a great place to head after work.

Missed the picture of the burger. But it was so good that it didn’t even stand a chance. Lol. They serve food till 11:00pm. We came in on a Wednesday night. Bartenders were pretty awesome.

Had the pretzels on a whim during first visit and they always make it on our order. We make a point to visit a least once a month for happy hour. Gaelic Mac and cheese, grilled cheese, wings, salads -we've loved everything we've tried.

My first time today. Friendly staff, sat at the bar. They made sure I knew about their happy hr drinks and food, which was great because I wanted a small meal. Had the mussels, for drinks I selected to go with the Irish mule, both delicious! Don't know what took me so long to try this place.

First visit to this charming pub, and won't be the last! Full of Irish atmosphere and music! So refreshing! Our new favorite! Wonderful, helpful and friendly waiter (Xavier) guided us through the superb menu and beer choices (amazing choices!!). We settled on a Guiness and the Irish nachos appetizer first l, which was phenomenal, then fish & chips which were superb: amazing, fresh portions, with great fries and coleslaw! Daughter enjoyed their wonderful grilled cheese! All priced extremely fairly! Can't wait for the next visit!! Slainte!!

Food was ok. Chicken was fried and mixed in with curry to make chicken curry. We couldn’t eat the chicken at all. If you are going to serve chicken curry make it the right way. The bread that came with the mussels was stale. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes☹️😞😩

Great environment, kind and helpful staff, easy ordering food and more bar drinks from your phone, INCREDIBLE food, good beer options. We had a party of 4 and had nothing to complain about. Thank you for making our visit to Dallas even more enjoyable. You guys rock.

Love this place, they have the best spicy cheese curds outside of Wisconsin! I was excited to try the vegan shepherds pie, but it was just ok. The french fries were over the top and hubs said the fish and chips were AMAZING.

We stopped in late on a Saturday night after a local concert. It was busy but the service and food were excellent. My wife had one of the burgers and said it was top-notch. I had the Castletown, which is basically a Reuben Sandwich and was very good.

The bar was chill and mostly empty, seemed like a cool place to hang even though the bartenders seemed super antisocial and kinda mean, but it was raining so we needed to be somewhere inside. The kitchen was closed so we ordered food from across the street, then we got told we had to leave if we wanted to eat our food, even though we were paying for drinks. I think the owner should send a personal thanks to the red head bartender man, this place lost out the rounds we could’ve bought if we weren’t kicked out. I guess less drinks = less money = better business, or at least that’s what the bartender tried to explain to us while he kicked us out. We ate our food in the street in the rain. Probably won’t be back to a place that hires such unfriendly bartenders, but it doesn’t seem like they care about how they represent the bar anyway …

Cannons is terrific! One of my favorite bars in the oak cliff area. The vibe is quite chill and a good selection of beers. One of the bartenders is very hospitable and tells good stories. I believe her name is Ashley??? Anyways, if you’re in oak cliff and looking for the right pub Cannons is definitely the place to check out. Great lemon pepper wings too.

Asian zing wings are my favorite, they are the perfect spicy! May be to spicy for those that can not handle some heat. The pretzel is is amazing, especially dipped in that cheese. Pair all of that with a cool beer and it’s perfect. Great customer service as well.
