If you want to be denied entry by this loser of a security guard, he accused me of falsely of being drunk and denied entry. After a corporate dinner at the Sushi place next door we came to InWood Tavern to have a drink before we left. After 15 minutes I came outside to answer a phone call from my kids and he would not let me back in. Perhaps a middle-age non-Caucasian male is not allowed in this teenybopper bar. I don’t know. But the two other Caucasian females that I was with were allowed in and out no problem even though we have been together the entire evening. The bar manager said this was a new security company and she had no say over them. In my opinion, Perhaps this guy should start checking IDs more and dealing with the young patrons inside falling over rather than denying entry for false reasons. We all felt that it was racial profiling. This place needs to be closed down.

It’s a definite hole in the wall type atmosphere, with decent prices. However in my opinion there are other dive bars nearby that I prefer such as The Ivy

The Bartenders are amazing at this place, the environment is nice. No fighting, but everyone has a good time. Definitely will be back

This place is a good pour and good prices. The crowd was a range from 20-60 years old. Everyone had fun. It was different and something you should try if you like a neighborhood club. Dress up or down.

This place is kind of meh. I have met some interesting people here. It’s always so crowded and really hard to go up to the bar inside the main area. Not a super eclectic environment. Fairly young crowd. Probably because I am generation X. Lol

I've been coming here for years and can say that every single member of the staff has been nothing but kind and great to us. I recently eloped, and the staff found out where my wife and I where going to go for dinner on the wedding day. They secretly called ahead and paid for the majority of our dinner with out us knowing. It was one of the kindest surprises that we received that day. Thank you all so very much!

Bouncer is the worst! I've gone there for over a decade, well before they completed the makeover. But only sporadically so not like I should be considered a regular. And have hosted big groups there so spent a ton of money. I'm 60, my date is 50. Bouncer Made a scene to not let us in last night bc my date didn't have an ID. Seriously? Great environment! The owner brought us a round of Rootbeer shots being a Canadian stag party! Great times at Inwood. Highly recommended

Great little bar the outside patio is really nice people are friendly the outside patio as he did for the winter time there’s fans out here for the summer the music is great not too loud just a lot enough so you can still have a conversation with people. Also they definitely pour their drinks right. No little measuring cups and everything they make. Very cool place The only thing I can say that I don’t like is there’s not a lot of parking so drive around back.

Had to park across the street valet parking pulled in but no attendant .. Thought the search indicated that they had food but they said that they didn't, no big deal.. no server on the floor so had to go to the bar to get seconds, again no big deal.. mixed drinks were served in red plastic cups, not so fond of that. But I would probably return if in the area again.

The trashy bartender spilled my beer and would not give me another one. When she indicated that she only spilled HALF of the beer and I don’t deserve a refund I was upset and she kicked me out. These are low down trashy people who don’t deserve anyone’s business. Watch out for the lady who is too old to be working at a bar and mad at 26 year olds she’s scum.- I also asked for the owner but he was too scared to come out and face me

Great staff cool environment but $11 @ shot and $8 for a Budweiser 3 drinks shouldn’t be $30.

Great watering hole. Free popcorn, fun games etc all with a nice back patio. They actually keep to their motto posted above the bar, so be prepared.

It was a great place to relax and have a cold drink. Summer time is here and I needed a nice atmosohere just to chill out. Definitely a must go!

I.T. is our go-to bar. There is a great patio. It is a good watering hole with decent prices.

This was our first visit to Inwood Tavern and we loved it. The staff was excellent, the atmosphere is what you would expect and want in tavern. You can tell from the people who entered the door it was a place they enjoyed. I thank the staff and owners for making Inwood Tavern what it is a great place to hang out.

Nice neighborhood bar, karaoke nights are pretty lively. The "utes" of American Universities (SMU) living their best lives

Hands down one of the best bars I have been to in several years. The staff is 100% on point and will make sure you are taken care of. Stevie is one of the best bartenders I have had in 20 years. Your not just a customer here your a friend or your family. And I was passing thru Dallas with a layover that gave me just enough time to experience Inwood Tavern and what it has to offer. 12/10 recommend!!!!

Great atmosphere, fun place to hang out with friends, play pool, hit the golden tee machines, or just hang out on the patio.

Great pub to chill and get some drinks with friends. It can get pretty packed on Saturday, so be ready.

Nice stopover after a day of driving. Cold beer, nice people, and a comfy environment. Would visit again if in that area.
