Chill place. Good service. Decent beer selection. Single patty a bit thin, but tasty.

Jake’s is such a welcome laid back atmosphere with a great vantage point patio of the hustle and bustle of McKinney Ave. I enjoyed the loaded cheese fries...I’ve never had so many toppings on loaded fries (incl. ranch, chili, chopped onions, bacon bits and jalapeños). It was like eating a loaded baked potato. One word = yum!

Snuffers? Is this Snuffers? My first thought after walking in, seeing the menu and colors. Saturday night and was having trouble finding a place still open where I could get something to eat! Menu has all the classic offering you would expect out of a burger joint. I have seen Jake’s locations before, but never hit me in the mood. Despite it’s location it was slow and I found a parking spot! My server/bartender was on the money and attentive. Went with the Jake’s special over the other offerings and it turned out to be perfect. I liked the shredded Iceberg lettuce and Thousand Island. The burgers definitely a 80/20 or less, bit to me they were not overly greasy. I was worried the poppyseed bun was going to be more of a roll. But I found it airy and soft. It held together the entire burger and earned mega points with me. My burger was slightly out of the pink zone but was not dried up either. Definitely going back and I would go here over Snuffers any day of the week.

I got the hot hickory burger with a side of tots. The burger was delicious! Great sauce, crispy bacon, great bun, and decent patty’s. think it’s standard to get double patty burgers at Jake’s which was nice. The tots look plain but they are cooked to perfection and taste fresh. The restaurant itself is somewhat small and the staff are busy so it took about 20 minutes for us to order.

Went here with a friend today because we were in the mood for a burger and was not disappointed. Great food. Speedy service and smile the whole time. Had my son with me and the waitress was extremely nice to him even though he kept taking her pen. They had a patio available as well as room inside. Overall great experience and would go back.

A MUST TRY Much more than just a burger place. Big patio, lots of TVs, plenty of free parking. If you have not been here, you have to try it. I had the chicken club, with the Kickin Chicken patty. YUM

They probably have some of the best burgers in town. I don't know what they season the fried pickles with but it's excellent. The server was really nice although she might have a easier time taking care of guest if she wasn't on her phone. All in all I think this will become one of my regular spots

My family came is as a party of 7 and they were able to seat us quickly. Cassie was our server. She was super friendly and made great recommendations to our family who has never been. The half fried pickles and half fried Jalapeños is our favorite appetizer here. I had the Hot Hickory and added grilled onions. Super juicy and adding the hot sauce they had on their tables made it perfectly spicy for me. Never a disappointment when I've been here.

Great outdoor seating. Had their chips and Queso, it was bomb. Also had the Patty Melt, it was packed with so much flavor and I very much enjoyed it. The lady had the breakfast burger, it was fantastic and was so big that I needed to finish it for her. Drinks were good too. 4 dollar vodka drinks on Tuesday - I liked that. Would I recommend? Yes! 👍

Amazing place. I used to go at the location in Addison but they close that branch few years ago. Now I come often here. Simple one of the best burgers

We were in Uptown waiting for an appointment so we decided to grab some lunch. Jake's was only a block away so we decided to try it. It is a noisy boisterous sports bar with simple furnishings. The burger patties are very thin but they are super juicy and flavorful, and pretty much everything comes with 2 patties. I was surprised by how juicy the burger was and the fries were terriffic! They were lightly battered and seasoned. You can get any burger with just 1 patty, just ask and they will accommodate. Overall, it was a great tasty burger and fries at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back.

In A Nutshell: -Jake's Burgers is simply a great burger spot in Dallas, TX. -The double meat burgers are so freakin' juicy & soft. -I don't know how to explain it, you need to try it yourself. -The poppy seed buns are also super soft. -Order the fried green beans (better than fries, believe it). -Also order the fried pickles bc you're in the South. Overall, the service was great & they had great IPAs on tap. #perfect
