Loved this place!! Small converted house with rich history. Completely loved the candlelight ambiance. A bit of a draft, but close to the window. Fireplace, beautiful lighting. Charcuterie was great! Lotsa laughter and friendly service. Just warm.

Great experience! This place is super nice and has a great ambiance. If you want the best setting, make a reservation for the back room which is a whole different experience. Their drinks are amazing, and their food is good but a little expensive. I got the tuna tacos which were good but nothing crazy. I also liked the fried brie as an appetizer. My friend got the burger, which he said was really good, so maybe next time I would get that. My overall experience was great!

Great place to grab some delicious cocktails! Really unique and cool atmosphere. The bartenders are really talented and the service is great. Make sure to make a reservation for seats because it gets busy.

What a great place. Phenomenal cocktails, atmosphere, and staff. Haven’t tried the food, but can only imagine it is top notch given management and the cocktails. 10/10 would recommend. And open until 12 am on weeknights.

I had the best cocktails in Dallas at Bowen House so far!!! They are absolutely delicious. Weekdays from 4 to 6pm, they have a very nice happy hour menu that you shouldn’t have missed. My favorite from the drinks I had today is Silly Rabbit ( I love gin based drinks). Would definitely come back for more different drinks and foods. Apart from the drinks, the decor, the vibe and the service are all extraordinary:) Highly recommended!

I had a great experience here. Limited parking and limited indoor/outdoor seating. Upon arrival we were put on a 2 hr waitlist but seated in 30 mins. The staff are extremely kind and take care of their customers. The service was fast. The food came out approximately 10 mins after we were seated. I enjoyed the food a lot more than expected. I especially enjoyed the fried Brie. The drinks are good as well. I would come here again.

Great place to stop and grab a cocktail. Limited seating inside due to the size of the historic home. Patio seating is available. Very unique craft cocktail selections. A must stop and check out in Dallas. A hidden gem 💎.

Bowen House is this swanky uptown Cocktail Bar. Drinks are prepared to your liking. The ambience is loud but low lighting throughout the evening provides for a great date night. Oh & it's best to have a reservation.

Great food, excellent cocktails and great beer. The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. The dinning space is really hip but dark(very low lighting). Make your reservation as it gets busy. Definitely check it out, we will be back.

First time visiting per a friend’s recommendation. We walked in early evening on a Saturday without a reservation and the host was kindly able to seat us in the back room for a drink…but I’m certain we got lucky (so be sure to make a reservation!). Really cool atmosphere — the back room is smaller, darker and moodier. The front of the house is much brighter. The drinks were excellent! Looking forward to coming back.

Wow. Drinks are amazing here food is incredible! My favorite drink is the get bent.y friends and I always start off with the fried Brie and steak tartar with extra bread because we always need more. My favorite dishes are the burger and pasta! So good. The deserts are the the best. We’ve tried a handful and the one I’ve like most is the tiramisu.

Sydney, our bartender, further elevated our experience, ensuring the night was nothing short of delightful. The ambiance during the “golden hour” (delicious cocktail btw) complemented the occasion perfectly, and the custom cocktail crafted for my fiancé added a personalized touch. Celebrating our fourth anniversary at Bowen House was an excellent choice, and we are genuinely elated with the overall experience. The seamless blend of exceptional service, ambiance, and customized offerings made our celebration truly memorable.

Bowen House is probably one of the best hidden gems in Dallas. I always enjoy my experience there. People are friendly, polite, and accommodating. The service is superb. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. My original plans for date night fell through and as a plan B, I took her to Bowen House. With no reservation, I was able to secure a table with a small wait. Amazing. The atmosphere is intimate, dark, and candle lit with dim lighting. Service was great with no waiting and suggestions of their own. From this point forward, it should be Plan A. My date was thoroughly impressed and enjoyed every moment. Thank you Bowen House!

Arrived for late Saturday aft (4:30) drinks and appetizer, no reservation, but they squeezed us in. The manager on duty was friendly and efficient. It’s a young crowd… At least when we were there — Mostly late 20’s and 30’s. If you’re looking for a quiet place with a relaxing atmosphere, you should know this place is loud when the main small room is full. There’s another small bar in a back room — We’ll plan ahead and try that next time. Everyone is very efficient and the servers checked in on us frequently. Appetizers and drinks did not disappoint. Um, and if it’s your first time… It’s the small green house on the corner.
