One of the best bars on the strip. You can get a classic cocktail or something simple. Everything they use is super fresh and great quality. They even have a good selection of top shelf and boutique level liquors. The perfect place for a calm night cap. Also, all bartenders are amazing, especially Jeffery.

The bartenders do not get along and one makes it a point to bring that drama onto the patrons. We asked for a 🍒 in our drinks as he was putting one in the glass next to ours. He rudely told us he would not help us bc we had ordered from the bartender next to him. It would have taken him two seconds to accommodate our request and we would not have never thought anything about it. Other than the bar drama, it is worth checking out for a cocktail. Just make sure you get a good bartender.

Honestly, I go out in Oak Lawn all the time and never knew this place existed. One of those “hiding in plain sight” kind of things. Stopped by on a Monday afternoon and it wasn’t busy. The bartender took a minute to get to us but was super attentive from that point forward and was very friendly. I was just happy to find a place that serves sazeracs in the gayborhood. Albeit, not the best but definitely not the worse. If you’re looking for somewhere smaller in Oak Lawn to hangout, this may be the place for you!

My friend time here and loving the vibe. I am here for the Monday open mic and the place is packed already. If you want to do something on Mondays visit this place. Though the open mic is every other Monday. Look it up first if you plan to join or just enjoy the environment and listen to great local comics.

This bar has been a favorite of mine for years. And now the new restaurant area is very nice with great food (great craft cocktails too!). The LGBTQ sandwich and Asian Buffalo Tenders are my favorites. Best little bar on the strip!

I always have the best time at Alexander’s! Dylan and Nick are always welcoming and serve up the best drinks. The food is tasty and offers casual fancy with their cheese board or traditional food with a twist like their Asian Buffalo Tenders or cedar Springs Burger. No matter what I’m in the mood for Alexander’s has me covered.

Great place in three strip that not only has great drinks but food! You can tell they care about the ingredients and quality of the food they prepare. Go there for dinner as well as drinks. Very convenient if you're out enjoying the strip and want some good food.

Excellent place always love coming here. Bartenders are always friendly with great personality and they can make really any drink you want. People here are amazing. Food is great too. I have a sensitive stomach and never had issues eating here. From Fried Pickles to Chicken Nuggets (Chick fil Gay nuggets to be exact) to a Caesar Salad everything is delicious and on point.

Fun staff and vibe. They have so many tvs playing awesome music videos made it a real treat. They have a great drink selection and fun food.

My boyfriend and I have both agreed that this place has the best drink in the Gayborhood. We miss you guys so much and who knows, maybe we'll stop by whenever we're in Texas one day. Continue to be OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! Happy Pride Guys!!!! Oh, and the food their is wonderful as well.

The “straightest” gay bar on the strip, it nails that vibe of acceptance and love. The bartenders are very friendly and everyone here is approachable.

I normally love this place but the female bartender is beyond rude & her drinks suck. We’re out to have fun not put up with your attitude. I probably won’t go back until she’s not there anymore & why would you when there’s other bars with more friendly folks Update 3/14: this place has the doucheist bartender’s No thanks

Drinks are delicious and the bar is small and intimate. It's a cool find on the strip and gives you some options if you're looking for a more chill night. Their outdoor seating is especially nice because you can seek out an isolated corner or fully participate in everyone else's night, depending on your mood. Staff is really nice, too!

Extensive cocktail menu and really nice, friendly bartenders who make them. Everything our group ordered was delicious, especially the espresso martini.

I had a great time last night , this bar is amazing it has great music. Today I bought a beer from them and they accidentally charged me for someone else’s drinks I didn’t know till I woke up and checked my bank account. I called the owner directly because I wasn’t getting anywhere with the people working at the time , that’s why I give it 4 I had to find the number online the bartender didn’t give it to me to help me but when I did find the number lee the owner gave me a refund no problems at all, very respectful man. Even after it all, I would definitely still come back! But definitely will watch out for overcharging next time

Bar owner is super cute!!! His hospitality is off the chain!!! He crafted a custom drink based off my list of things I liked. He a even put a lil sultry dance with my drink as he delivered it. Great time! Fun atmosphere. No fuss! Come as you are. I'll be back!

Old white lady Bartender took my card for an unpaid beer and lost it. She left the bar and came back claiming she never took my card. This raised a red flag for me because it resembles a lot of fraud scams. Next day they find my card. I go to pick it up, owner is rude and saying I lost it. Do not recommend

Alexandre’s has been a favorite spot of ours for several years and when my husband and I needed a venue to host our 30th anniversary, it was the obvious choice. By the time we thought of having the party we only had a couple weeks to put it all together, but when we brought the idea to the owner Lee, he assured us that he would take care of all the details. He and his outstanding staff provided everything we needed and more. They put up beautiful rainbow balloon decorations above the area reserved for the party and served champagne and appetizers throughout the evening. The only thing we did was choose the colors; Lee and his staff completely took care of us, and we clearly made the right choice for our 30th anniversary. Now Alexandre’s isn’t just a great bar to us - it’s the future venue for our 35th anniversary!

The owner, is a self proclaimed Socialist, which is comical on it's own. He has a $12 chicken sandwich on his menu. Socialist? I think not or his prices would be more affordable for the masses. The food is mediocre at best and the service is slow and rude. The chicken sandwich was dry and way too salty. The fried brussels sprouts taste like they were fried in the same pot the chicken was fried in. Horrible! Do yourself a favor, spend your money for a good meal and a real restaurant.

Love this bar! Bar tender Sam was an absolute legend and the stand up comedy open mic run by Stefan was so fun! I highly recommend it if you're looking for something to do on a Monday night. 😁

In the 6+ years coming here, I have always been treated with respect, decency and lots of love. Maybe except one time but I’ll excuse it cause it was from a patron that I never saw again. Definitely, the place to be at!
