This tequila bar was a blast! It’s a very intimate space but also has seating outside, great for a date or a small group of friends. The atmosphere is almost rustic/romantic, the music is awesome, fits the look. We had a super sweet server that was very knowledgeable about the menu, we tried the Maguey varietals, the frozen mezcal mangonada and none of it was disappointing. We tried the al pastor and carne asada tacos which were delicious and came out quickly. Overall I look forward to going back and trying more!

I really love this place. It's never to crazy busy but that's the charm of it. You can take a date or a group of friends! The Margaritas are deadly amazing, no more than 3. The food is excellent and you can't go wrong on anything you order!

Where do I begin my love story with Las Alma’s Rotas…. A few years ago my friend and I stumbled upon this place because we love margs. As we sat down at the bar I realized we were in a bar with an outrageous mezcal program. After one delicious margarita I asked a bartender for a pechuga flight, something I knew little about and wanted to know more. Right away he was excited to help me and we worked within my price range to put something adventurous together. Fast forward 2 years and all the while I began following Las Almas on social media and I began to understand how much work they put into this program. The travel, the education, the communication… I grew an immense amount of respect. So when my husband had to travel to Dallas for work I tagged along to come to this bar. For three days in a row, that’s exactly what i did. For those three visits I was greeted by not only the most knowledgeable staff, but also the friendliest. They know the products, they want to teach the patrons who want to know but can make great cocktails for those who don’t. The amount of work and dedication that goes into what this bar is doing is incredible and if you love agave spirits you need to go. Make the trip to Dallas, or if you’re a local, go learn! It’s been a week and I am already missing this place so much.

Mezcal and tacos at its finest. Love eating here. To bad it was 6pm. Can’t wait to go back and sip and sit in the evening! Had the chicken tinga and carne asada tacos. The salsa verde was also great.

This place was recommended by a friend and it lived up to the hype! For drinks, We got the mangonadas and it was delicious! This is probably the best Mezcal based cocktail I have had in Dallas! It was very refreshing! We also tried the Taco plate with the Al-pastor and Carnitas Tacos! Their serving size is four tacos and they are served with amazing salsas on the side! I specially liked the Al-pastor it was very well seasoned! We also got Guac and Chicharonnes and it was very filling! The service was amazing and very efficient! The music and atmosphere makes you feel like your in Mexico! Overall this is a great place to catch up and grab drinks with great food! Definitely worth trying!!

One of my favorite kick back spots in Dallas, hands down. I’ve been to this place enough to pay my mortgage for a couple of months. You will notice something intricately different every time you walk in. The staff is almost always relaxed (in the best way). The mezcal can’t be beat, and their tortas are the way to go if you need something to fill you up.

Well there you have it. This place will become a tradition any time being in the vicinity of Fair Park. Las Almas Rotas is the perfect walking distance from the events at the park and it is so worth it. The drinks are absolutely top notch. Mescal is so smooth and in drinks it makes for a perfect cocktail. The food also follows suit. We tried the empanadas with carnitas and they were fantastic. I had a chicken milanesa torta and it was so good. The chips are not like other chips and the guacamole is like table side at some fancy restaurant good. Next time I'm debating going to an event at the park I will immediately know I want to go just to come back here.

Fried pork belly and a mezcal flight….amazing experience. Huge selection of little known tequilas, mezcals and other agave derivatives. Looking forward to our next visit, and more tastings. Lively hangout.

The food and mezcal were delicious. The size of the tacos was perfect. We had two carne asada and two Al pastors. I highly recommend this place for food, but unfortunately, the service was terrible. Our waitress was so rude, I asked her for a beer, and she said this is a Mexican place. We only have Mexican beers. She never returned to our table. We had to go to get our drinks all the time. She didn’t even come when we asked her for the check. Horrible service. Que pena, para un lugar con comida y bebidas tan ricas.

Been wanting to go here since I first moved here a little over a year ago and finally made it over! It did not disappoint. I had heard of the large tequila and mezcal selection and it was quite impressive. I got a margarita and they asked if I wanted something specific in it so I ordered it with a certain mezcal that was recommended by someone in my group. The mezcal was excellent and the margarita was excellent. The tacos were also really good. The tortillas are fantastic, sourced form Molino who is awesome and they do heirloom corn tortillas with tradiontional methods. An order of 4 is $14 and you can pick two styles. Me and a friend ordered different ones so we each got to try 4 different tacos (carnitas, lengua, Al pastor and carne asada). The carnitas was by far my favorite. The green salsa was also excellent. The lengua and pastor were good, not the best I’ve ever had but good, would get again. The carne asada was ok, the meat was tender but lacked the seasoning and flavor I expect from carne asada. But all in all, enjoyed the tacos! And better yet, the restaurant is all dolled up for the holiday season and just gives it that something extra special!

The food was good, drinks were strong and atmosphere was nice. It was definitely a nice spot to come down and have a good meal in a lively place. Be wary though, this place fills up very quick and there is not much seating.

Excellent fresh guacamole and thier happy hour is short but very sweet. Their street tacos are authentic and great. The entire ambiance is a good vibe. I will definitely be coming back and it's one of the best places in Dallas to explore any Mezcal you could think of.

Came before a concert based on the high reviews, but it was just not it. $14 for 4 snack size tacos and the tortilla soup had no favor. The margarita was average. Cute place but everything/everyone was missing the seasoning. Summary: overpriced for “Mexican style” food. Love, a Mexican

First time here I love it. Great food and friendly service

Terrible service- they make you order online at your table and bring you what your ordered slower than if you looked up the recipe online and cooked it yourself. Refuse to do traditional table waiting, except when you need to pay, when they finally show up so they can stand over you while you are asked how much you want to tip. And to top it all off, our waitress (not sure what else to call her) was rude. Two stars instead of one because the guacamole we got was pretty good. Not even close to worth it though.

We had a wonderful experience! So much mezcal it was hard to choose-- we picked a flight and had snacks to go with it. Attentive staff and will be telling all my friends about this place :)

Cozy place. Chill atmosphere. Fresh guacamole was good. Had the lengua and al pastor tacos. Good! Salsa is nice and spicy. Michelada was excellent. Mezcal flights were small but pack a punch. We enjoyed the jicama and clamato that comes with flights to cleanse the palette between shots. Came on a Thursday evening no live music :-(

I love mezcal!!! and after my trip to Dallas I wanted to check this place and I was surprised with the options of mezcals.. The bartender recommended great options. I got a great time but again the service with the waitresses wasn't good.. Food wasn't like expected..

My husband and I look forward to going here anytime we have a show at Fair Park to attend (it's right across from the fairgrounds). On our recent visit, we sat at the bar and had awesome service and drinks! Bartender Pablo and GM Jay were very knowledgeable and friendly. The chips with salsa and guac was the perfect afternoon snack. The chips are nice and thick and well salted! I've had tacos and such on previous visits and it's all good- but maybe a little more casual than you would expect for such and impressive bar. Drinks sampled included the featured cocktail (Tamarindo Montenegro), Cereza Mula, Nuez Cafe (their take on an espresso martini) and Noche de Desierto. All were delish but my personal favorite was the featured drink! We will surely be back!
