I’m here in Dallas visiting and of course I had to grab coffee! This place was actually right across from my hotel! Let me just say vibe here is at 1000! Great music, friendly staff, great pricing! I wish we had a coffee spot like this in LA!

Very nice coffee place with live entertainment at times. I enjoyed their Chai latte but they have sweets as well. I suggest this for first dates and just getting away by yourself. Easy to find as its opposite of the Canvas Hotel. ENJOY!

Coffee is good. We ordered 2 avocado toasts online, and were pretty disappointed. $10 for a very plain piece of bread and maybe 1/4 avocado with salt, pepper, oil, and maybe a touch of lemon. This price typically yields some great bread or some additional toppings, at least an egg (which we expected as pictured while ordering online where there was no other description of what was included). Just very overpriced for very subpar. Also could improve understanding of what you're actually getting online.

Mostly good but a little hit or miss. The first time I went, it was great food and friendly staff. The atmosphere is nice, and the breakfast sandwich is delicious. I came back the next day and service was slow, got my order wrong, and even after fixing it the cheese wasn't melted on my sandwich. Probably just an off day, so I'd definitely come back. Pic is from day 1, and don't worry the latte in the picture was full, I already drank some.

Coffee shop with alcohol options, including wine, beer and and some simple mixed drinks. They also have an open mic night for musicians in the area. Nice spot to grab a drink and listen to a bunch of different artists. The building also has a nice vibe. It is worth checking out if you like checking out a new artists

This hidden gem is definitely worth a visit. There's a wide variety of drinks on the menu and a little something for those looking to enjoy something sweet. It has something for everyone, from coffee to beer to gifts. The coffee is smooth, but not strong.

Small hip spot with good food and great coffee. The shop gives off a very comfortable vibe with old books and instruments. The stage makes me want to visit for an event

One of my favorite coffee shops! The building it's in is absolutely gorgeous!! Love all the art! The employees were great. The iced vanilla orange chai was absolutely heavenly! Lots of fun, unique coffee served here. Also love the variety of snacks/pastries. They have healthy options available as well which is nice.

Went there 15 minutes before they close. The employees were more interested for closing than serving customers. The environment and the vibe is excellent. I was planning for drip coffee, but since they were closing, ended up having regular coffee. I didn’t like the coffee, I guess the quality or brewing was not good. I drove 14 miles to try them, what a waste of time for me.

Not only do they make great coffee but they host a very fun night of singing, piano, guitar and even full bands. A great selection of wine, seltzers and yes, coffee. Don't miss the deserts - fun night for young and old.

we went Saturday night while visiting Dallas, once we entered at the coffee shop Bell, the ambiance was outstanding.music in live, nice crowd, great service but once we looked to seat down, manager got the chairs back since we didn't purchase bracelets. we were set like homeless people behind the door, kids were so sad why we had to eat and drink behind the door. Manager should be fired for her way of doing business!!!! She should be ashamed. I looked around and I saw people with blue bracelets but I saw MANY people with NO bracelets. We felt she could be racist

One of the best coffee shops in Dallas (IMO)! Super cool ambiance that fits great with being inside SouthSide Lamar lofts. Live open mic is always a great time

Oh yes, this is a good one to try. Breakfast sandwiches did not taste premade or like they been sitting there like other some coffee places. Lattes were tasty. Location is nice and plenty of parking. Area is cleaned up and safe to walk around now. It’s also very relaxing in there. They sell artsy stuff and booze. Def a coffee shop worth visiting.

This place is it all. The atmosphere, the coffee, the customer service, the spot itself!! This is by far the coolest coffee shop I've been to. They have art all over, live music on weekends, and amazing coffee. We ordered a hot honey latte, and where do I start. The milk was PERCECT consistency, and the coffee tasted amazing. The cashier was super nice, and even hand delivered our drinks to us. We also ordered a cold brew, to taste check their coffee, and we were amazed at how good it was!! This place is a GEM! Definitely recommend, and definitely will be back!!!

This small cafe is often overlooked because if it's somewhat hidden location but don't let this one slip past you! The coffee is top notch. I've never tasted even so much as a hint of bitterness. The brew is smooth and full of flavor.

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the lack of accessibility for individuals with mobility impairments at your establishment, Opening Bell Coffee. My friend and I, one of whom relies on a walker due to brain surgery, recently visited your location and encountered significant obstacles when attempting to access the facility. Upon arrival, we discovered that the main entrance was solely accessible via stairs, with no clear notifications or signage indicating an alternative route for individuals with disabilities. Regrettably, there was no hostess or staff member present at the main entrance to assist or provide guidance on accessible entry points. After contacting the establishment, the worker on the phone admitted that the main entrance lacked accessibility for individuals with disabilities. It was disheartening to hear that your facility does not prioritize or accommodate individuals with mobility challenges adequately. Furthermore, the worker struggled to articulate an alternative route, initially offering a vague description of sliding doors before recalling that all the doors were broken. The only suggestion provided was to wait for someone to exit, hoping for the possibility of access through that means. This experience was not only inconvenient but also deeply discriminatory. Every individual should have the right to access public spaces without facing unnecessary hurdles or being made to feel unwelcome. The lack of proper accommodations and the dismissive approach to addressing accessibility concerns are unacceptable and contravene the principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). I strongly urge Opening Bell Coffee to take immediate and comprehensive action to rectify this issue. It is imperative that you make necessary modifications to ensure full compliance with ADA standards, including clear signage for accessible entry points and functional access for individuals with mobility impairments. I sincerely hope that this incident serves as a catalyst for positive change in your establishment's accessibility practices. Every person deserves equal access to public spaces, and it is crucial to foster an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone without discrimination. I would appreciate a prompt response outlining the steps being taken to address this matter and the timeline for implementing necessary changes to ensure accessibility for all patrons. Thank you for your attention to this important issue.
