Did their wine tasting and learned a lot while getting great pairings from the owner, Stoney, who then played a mean bass! They have live jazz music and a great wine selection! A few small plate options for food.

A simply wonderful place with live jazz and yummy cheese plates, salmon and fresh pies. The wine selection is excelled only by the musicians and the staff!

Like this place a lot. First off though, we are teetotalers so I can't comment on the wine. We went for the music and some food. It's not a restaurant per se but they have a few dishes. We had the salmon plate and the cheese plate. They were both very good and plenty of food for the two of us to share for dinner. The music was great. It was a jazz trio. There was a $7 cover charge and you had to spend $10 for food or drink per person. It's not cheap, but it was a nice night out. It has comfortable seating and a nice ambiance. It took a little bit for the servers to notice us, but once they did everything was great. Actually it was the owner who came over and checked to see if we had put our order in.

Stoney's is a neighborhood treasure. A cozy, little wine bar during week, and on weekends it becomes an intimate jazz venue. It's a great place to hear world-class jazz musicians. Excellent selection of wines. Tasty home-made pies.

Came to Stoney's for a wine education class through Groupon. I've passed Stoney's before, but this was my first time stopping by and am so glad I did. Stoney's is an intimate wine bar/lounge with plenty of seating and an AWESOME selection of wine. The wine education class was fun and a great date night! Stoney lead the class and you can really get a sense for his passion and knowledge of wine. The primary focus of the class was pairing wine with food and included 6 wine tastings and a plate of food for pairing. The class was definitely worth the price and would recommend it if Groupon is still offering. I will definitely be back to Stoney's and will probably come back on the weekend when they have live Jazz.

Stoney's is interesting. It has a feeling of of a local lounge, but displays some incredible talent by way of incredible jazz musicians. The wine selection is commendable, the ambiance is classy but cozy. The staff are always smiling and it is a wonderful place for both the wine and jazz afficionado.

A quaint and cozy bistro in North Dallas that we really loved! The proprietor, Stoney, was there to help us select an amazing bottle of wine to enjoy while we listened to the fantastic jazz trio! The charcuterie tray was the perfect compliment to the delicious wine. We had an amazing time! Stoney’s Wine Lounge is a one of a kind gem! We loved it.

We had a great time. We went to see Gabe Meadows. His band playing with him was superb!! The owner's wife did 2 songs and WOW! The staff are hustling busy. Our wine terrific. A super great evening.

Stone and Diane have made this place a really great neighborhood spot, Enjoys a glass of wine, relax on the sofa, have some cheese and pate...what's not to like. Plus there is has a nice inventory of interesting wines and he is knowledgeable and honest about recommendations and suggestions. The space is also available for private parties and receptions with full-on catering. Support the locals!

Very laid back atmosphere. Carry’s a great line of wines at very reasonable prices. The real treat is the weekend nights of jazz. The schedule varies and it is best to get on their mailing list so you will be notified of upcoming music. The food is very simple like cheese plates. They do usually make a fruit pie which is always excellent.

Stoney's offers a wide variety of wines at reasonable prices, and Stoney can educate you regarding those of interest before you purchase, so that you can make informed choices. On most weekends, various jazz or blues performers entertain while you enjoy your chosen beverage (beer and soft drinks are available in addition to the large wine selection). The evening we attended, the entertainment was provided by Bill & Peggy Lohr, and we were able to have Peggy autograph her latest book, "Howdy, Hollywood" for us. The location is not a large venue, so plan ahead by making a reservation, and arriving early, as parking is somewhat limited.

Pleasant experience. Love the live Jazz! Looks like it stays open later on the weekend. Probably advisable to call if thinking about going later than 7pm as posted hours are 2-7pm. Sat on the patio and could still hear the music 🎵. Very friendly and helpful in selecting a wine 🍷 that was nice
