Nothing more than a dive bar right outside of the America Airlines Center, and there's nothing wrong with that. We stopped in here after catching RAW next door. The place was jam packed, standing room only. Not only was WWE RAW letting out next door but there was also a crowd there due to a game on the TV's. We had a tough time initially getting drinks so we went to the bar and grabbed them ourselves. After about 30-45 minutes the crowd started to clear out and we finally started getting a server at the table. Definitely an ok place to grab a beer before of after a show next door but nothing more than that.

I came to the American Airlines center to see the Sam Smith concert. I arrived an hour early to get food beforehand. I came to shooters because they’re located at the east end entrance. When I arrived the place was so packed that they couldn’t even seat me (a party of one). The only option was to sit outside in the 100+ degree weather. I took that option and sat outside. There was one other table outside and the waiter continued to serve them but after 20 min of waiting I never got a server. I understand that they were busy, but they could of at least brought me a water for sitting outside. There was no way I was going to have my order placed and be finished eating by the time the concert started at this rate, so I left and had to eat stadium food.

Oof. Went here just before a Stars game. Place was busy, but an expected level given the location. The waitress was polite and tended to us well. She didn't quite understand what we ordered, and cited a recent menu change of old items with new names. Other than that I couldn't complain. The drinks were mediocre, but it was the food that went south. The meat in the tacos were partially cold, the "side" of onion rings was 3 rings, and the curds were horrifically overpriced ($10??) for what we got. Not to mention the appetizer came out after the entrees. All and all a massive missed opportunity for what should be a great location.

My coworkers and I went on an empty Monday for lunch and the service is a bit slow and the food is tasteless. The customer service was decent although she messed up the order she seemed like she meant well. I personally wouldn't come back especially for the price when all you get is a chicken sandwich lacking taste.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I live nearby and love Lalo and Leroy- the main bartender and the owner. They’re great people. The food is also soooo good, try the 8 layer dip! It’s a small, casual bar in the midst of a ton of very nice places, so we love coming here for a casual night with good conversation with the employees. A must visit if you’re headed to a game or live in the area!!

Me, my husband and some friends went here before a concert a few weeks ago, mostly because of the location being right by AA center. The service was really good but the food was mediocre at best. My loaded cheese fries were cold, my husband said his burger was ok but not for 14 dollars. Also, my friend had the street tacos and they were cold and the chicken was in large clumps they were not appealing at all and they tasted dry. The drinks were subpar, I had better drinks in a dive bar in a small town. I would say if you want mediocre food and drinks for an expensive price before your concert this would be your place. I have no problem paying for expensive food or drinks if they are worth the price. This place has a prime location and take advantage of it. 3 stars for the service.
