Wonderful dinner experience! Best lobster tail I ever had. Soft, tender, buttery. Roasted garlic, amazing. Chocolate cake was so rich and decadent. Everything we order was delicious. Our server, Beau, was wonderful.

I brought my coworkers here to celebrate a birthday and promotion, and I felt a bit underwhelmed at the experience. Our server Eric was very curt and brash. I expected better service for an establishment of this level, and everyone at the table felt like he did not want to serve us. However, when he disappeared for a while, another server helped us, and she was fantastic! They mixed in and out, so that helped some. For starters, we had the crab cake and calamari, both were tasty, but I loved the crab cake most. The size of the scallops were enormous, I was very pleased with the portion, but the mashed potatoes were bland. The vegan bolognese was terrific! I didn’t expect that to be my favorite side, but it was delicious; the entire table loved it. The second server brought us two complimentary baked Alaska’s to celebrate, so I appreciate that. Overall, it was an average dining experience. I’m hoping with improved service I will have a better experience if there is a next time.

Absolutely wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the door until the very last bite! We started with a stone crab claw each as an appetizer. My wife had the king crab leg and I got the branzino. Wow... Just wow!! The cocktails were also great. The Upper Manhattan was especially yummy. If we are ever in Dallas again this will definitely be on our "must visit" list for sure!

I wanted it to be the best experience but it wasn’t the best. Very nice place, you can see some of Dallas skyscrapers through the glass which was very cool. Food was decent but some of our friends ordered steaks that were not fully cooked, therefore food had to be sent back, other than that everything was ok. Service was good, servers were very attentive, helpful and friendly.

Yesterday we took a mini road trip for some seafood at Truluck's Dallas. It was OFF THE CHARTS DELICIOUS! 🦞 🦀 🍤 🧡❤️💛 Oysters, jumbo shrimp cocktail, melt in your mouth fresh bread, lobster bisque, ginormous stone crab claws, lobster tail, seared scallops, mushroom risotto , asparagus, charred broccoli, and (even though I was beyond stuffed) a few bites of key lime pie!!!!! Service was impeccable! Beautiful ambiance with a view! I was impressed by how the menu’s were backlit when you opened them and how the lighting above actually spotlights the table. You get the feeling your meal is on stage and, of course, the star of the show! Truluck’s gets a full 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟🌟! Not just a meal…but a true dining experience!

We went on Thanksgiving Day. We had a reservation however it took 1 1/4 hours to be seated. Once we finally got seated, we ordered appetizers and our dinner choices. About 15 minutes later the waiter comes back and tells us we have to choose a different side because they are out of potatoes. We make another choice and finally get our appetizers. When we finished our appetizers the waiter was not coming around, it was almost 30 minutes and we were wondering where our lobster bisque was. The waiter finally showed up and he let us know they were out of soup. We told him how unhappy we were with the service, and with it being thanksgiving we’re they not prepared? He said he would let the manager know. We finally received our food, it was good, but will probably never go back with the poor service, not having all the food they listed on the Thanksgiving Menu and still paying full price. We never heard from the manager, and it was a 5 hour ordeal. If it was just my wife and I, we would have left when they said they were out of soup, but since my son and daughter-in-law were there we stuck it out……time with them was the highlight of the evening. NO SOUP FOR US!

This place was perfect for date night. Sexy white table cloths and roses on the table. Ask for Sherry she took excellent care of us. All of her recommendations were on point. Definitely coming back. Lobster was sweet juicy and im still in awe the next morning.

1st time trying this place and all I can say is wow! The view, the decor, live singer down stairs just a wonderful experience. Food was definitely something to experience and the waiters are very informative on just about everything on the menu. Valet parking is a thing so be prepared for that.

This was my first time here, and I will definitely be making a return trip, the wait staff was amazing, even continued to fill up my water after we were done. Our waiter also had great knowledge of the wines and recommended not just the most expensive, but a solid red blend. The food was fantastic and not just the main course, everything was delicious. Now the carrot cake is just stupid good. Honestly, even if you don't normally like carrot cake this would be a good place to order it. Mind you, it is huge, but that just means leftovers.

Great destination for a dinner with friends or date night. Superb service and outstanding quality dishes. New York Strip is one of the best in town and the Sea Bass is perfection. Have to mention the Lobster Mac and Cheese, excellent side dish. Been here many times and intend to be back again!

Food is always amazing! We love the all you can eat snow crab. We used to have the same server when we would visit but after she left didn't get the same level of service. I liked the atmosphere of the old location better than the remodel but at the end of the day, we go for the food.

The food was great! Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Good prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions. The food took a long time to come out however. Parking is ok, ohnestly we had a larger commercial vheicle that would not fit and we had to park blocks away and walk

We celebrated our 10 and 20 year at Truluck's. Maggie and the entire staff were a part of my husband's surprise for our 20 year anniversary. The valet attendants were apart of the surprise protocol We loved the private room and the food was amazing as usual. My vegan dish below exceeded my expectations. (Vegan bologanes below and dessert). Thank you for the grand service. Rebecca, Maggie and staff, well done!

This has become one of our favorite places to go for seafood! Everything is prepared so perfectly. The lobster tail is some of the best I've ever had. Crab cake is perfectly crusted and served with a balanced dill sauce. Even the steaks are delightful and well prepared! My fiancé is not the big seafood person and is always happy with his steak. Cocktails are thoughtfully crafted and balanced. Wine list is extensive with many options by the bottle or the glass.

My experience at Truluck's in Dallas fell short of expectations. We're regulars at the Austin Research location and have always received exceptional service there. However, for my boyfriend's birthday celebration in Dallas, we decided to give this branch a chance. The view from the restaurant was lovely, but unfortunately, there was a considerable wait for our food, understandable due to the bustling atmosphere. While the dishes were served hot and fresh, the creamed spinach lacked flavor, prompting me to return it. The most disappointing aspect of the evening was our waitress. Despite her warmth with other diners, she seemed distant and unfriendly towards our table. Neglecting to refresh our beverages and infrequent check-ins during our meal were noticeable letdowns, particularly on such a special occasion. Considering it was my boyfriend's birthday and we're accustomed to excellent service elsewhere, this was disheartening. Nonetheless, we did tip appropriately. Even valeting our car posed an issue as others who arrived after us received their vehicles first. Although the food was decent, the subpar service and valet experience leave us hesitant to return to this particular Truluck's location

Came here for a late night dinner & glad we did ! Food, atmosphere & service was top tier! My husband and I got the meatballs, Caesar salad & tomato salad for appetizers. Let me tell you, the tomato salad was phenomenal!! We both got the 8oz fillet & shared asparagus & mashed potatoes! Alll so very delicious! Will be back soon!

Fantastic service and food. Went there to celebrate a birthday. Our servers were top notch and the food was delicious; oysters were fresh and flavorful, lobster was succulent and sweet and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Baked Alaska for the birthday guest and key lime pie were the perfect way to end the meal. Nice for a special occasion.

The meatballs in smoke tomato sauce were good. The bolognese dish with papardelle was good also it’s not the best vegan Italian dish I’ve had, but nevertheless it’s good and I’m grateful for the options. The Summer Romance cocktail was just okay.

Keagan our bartender is so amazing. I’m at the bar right now, before I forgot, I wanted to leave a review. He has gone above and beyond, treated everyone amazing and every drink he’s made is on POINT! I came solo for happy hour, and ended up having the best time because of Keagan. Come here! He will get you right during the week 3-5:30pm. And it’s my first time. I’ll be back! For sure.

NYE dinner was over priced and the reservation platform didn’t mention it was a set menu NYE experiencer. For 3 coursethey charged double of the price because they threw in a Happy New Year paper hat cost maybe $0.50 and a small mini size champagne maybe cost less than $5. The waiter almost forgot to give it to us at the end. The menu called for ribeye but they ran out. They served an over charred NY strip. Overall it was a bad experience at Trulucks. The management should have been clean on the reservation platform that NYE was a set menu. This is not the way to get more business. The is a completely negative experience
