What a beautiful restaurant with a meaningful story, delicious food and attentive staff. Bread basket ($10). So good. The bomb. We actually ordered 2 of them because it was so good. I loved the fried chicken! It was so juicy Finished the meal with the chocolate cake. Im not even a cake person and I loved it. Ten stars all around. Easy parking in the garage. Nice ambience inside for groups or couples.

A non-profit restaurant where every dish you order serves a greater purpose?! RUN don’t walk to Cafe Momentum! Ambiance: elevated cafe. Perfect for a date night or friends hangout for finer dining in a casual setting. 🍽 Food recommendations: - Smoked Fried Chicken - NY Strip - Mac & Cheese I did feel like the chicken was undercooked inside and the steak was overcooked, however the presentation was fantastic and was likely a one time scenario. Highly recommend to come and support a great social cause! 💰Price: $$$ ($20-$40 entrees) 🚪Dine in 🚗 complimentary valet or street parking

First time at this restaurant! Right in the heart of downtown. Free valet so if you’re in a rush, no worries. This restaurant has a unique story behind it which is what I loved the most. What a way to give back without depriving oneself of well deserved gains as well. I wondered why the food took a lil while to come out but hear me out or rather read me out. That chicken, to be fried chicken, could not be any juicier. They made our food with love it made no sense 😋. All the flavors engulfed in every bite omg. I was trying to make sense of what I was eating and I just couldn’t. All I know is I couldn’t stop eating. The steak my partner had was cooked properly, tender and tasty. The potatoes were actually soft. The staff is so polite and courteous which stood out to me. You’re treated with care like a valued customer. Finally the last thing that was unique is getting a whole bottle of wine as they do not sell it by the glass. It doesn’t cost an arm and a leg either. It made so much sense to have a bottle here and it works. Options are beer and wine. No hard liquor I recommend if you’re wanting a unique experience from a restaurant in the heart of Downtown Dallas!

We ordered two main dishes, both of them were really amazing! Highly recommended the NY strip and the lamb shank. The steak had a very special taste and to be honest it's my first time taste such excellent steak, which was better than some of the top steakhouse in NYC. The only downside was we ordered medium rare and it was a little bit overcooked. The lamb shank also had a rich wine-like flavour, but as a meatlover especially for lamb, me personally might would like to keep some of the original lamb flavour. For other dish I recommend the Asparagus Creamy soup. The creamy taste, which was could somehow catch my own ranking of the Boston Clam chowder. The soup was a fantastic try. Only downside is I might have a hard time to cook by myself.

This place, first of all, is absolutely delicious. My partner and I ordered the bread basket to start, which was perfectly warm and fresh, the butter was soft and nice, and the blueberry jelly went great with it. For our mains, she got the NY strip, which was excellent. I have been to numerous steakhouses across the metroplex, and the NY strip here is not only one of the best cooked but one of the best seasoned I have. I had the market fish, which was the salmon. The skin was crispy, and all the grains it was prepared it made it both light yet very flavorful. Got the Key Lime Pie for dessert, which was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Also, service is excellent, and the internship program of the restaurant is doing an incredible good for the community and for so many young adults who often don't have the resources to get the help they need.

Me and my husband had a very long day and we’re staying at a hotel across the street. We found this restaurant for a quick dinner. Our expectations were far exceeded. The food was spectacular and the staff was incredible.

Our server was just the sweetest. She had such an energetic personality. We loved her. She didn't stop by quite as often as she should have, but that's my only complaint. The food was outstanding! I'm not sure what I expected, but I didn't expect it to be THAT good! We had 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 4 entrees, and a dessert and could not complain about any of it. If it was socially acceptable to lick my plate in public, I would have. Just wonderful!

Their Thanksgiving dinner to go was awesome! All of the items exceeded expectations! I ordered for 12 and could have fed 20. The order was ready exactly on time for pick up with instructions on how to heat! Everyone was very pleased and I will definitely do again!

This is such an underrated restaurant considering all they do & how great the food is. My fave “dish” is actually the cornbread with the jam, but everything is so good, especially the ribs!

I discovered this restaurant by accident and Ironically, I’ve been actively-searching for food around dallas that is doing positive for our youth-community. Cafe momentum is doing above & beyond that! The professionalism & overall welcoming-environment created by staff def deserves a round of applause! Not to forget the food to top it all off, Will be back!

What a wonderful experience! The food was amazing! We had the steak, smokey fried chicken, and the shrimp and grits!. Desserts looked great but didn't have any room for it! Great restaurant and a fantastic mission! Will be back!

My favorite restaurant. I have been 3 times now and each time have gotten different dishes from all categories of the menu. Each dish is creative and delicious- the flavors are perfectly balanced. I try to order foods that I am unsure about (halibut, blue cheese, oxtail) here because I know the way they prepare it will win me over.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Downtown Dallas! Every single dish was to die for! We had the pork belly appetizer, house salad (amazing light but rich dressing), mac n cheese, NY strip (served with an amazing sautéed potato and mushroom medley), market catch, and strawberry cream puff for dessert. The service and presentation of the food was superb. Their menu is seasonal and look forward to try again before it changes!

This is not just a restaurant. It is an experience. It is a family. (And quite possibly the best food I’ve ever eaten). Kudos to every single team member at Cafe Momentum for their commitment to meaningful work and their community-building dedication to Dallas’ youth.

Booked the NYE dinner this year because my daughters went 4 years ago and had so many good things to say about the experience. The thing we were most looking forward to was hearing a talk about the program and hearing the kids speak. As the invitation said, “You will leave with your hearts full.” Well the chef said just a few words as if we all knew about the program, then had a raffle and that was it. I brought my 85 and 87 year old parents just to hear what the program was about. They were so interested and excited. It was such a disappointment. I felt like it was just a fundraiser with food, which wasn’t my daughter’s experience at all. It was obvious there were well known donors there whom the founder spoke at length to, but didn’t even say hello to our table. However, as always the Food was amazing! 5+ stars!!! We enjoyed the meal immensely just really came to hear more about what they do and hear the students talk. We will always go back to support them and for the amazing food, just really disappointed in the NYE lack of programming. Also they do not answer emails, or the phone, or return messages!🙄
