Great deal on Monday nights! 50% all food items! Cocktails are regular price. But so worth it! If your looking for an evening with friends or a romantic date night, first date. Come check this place out!

Hands down the best Asian BBQ establishment ( i.e Korean, Japanese, hibachi style, Chinese). Service was excellent with a team of staff clearing plates and offering refills and new meats/veggies to order. Value was off the charts, not even counting the service industry discount on Monday nights. The promotion was just the icing on the Strawberry Snow Baby.

THIS PLACE WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We went here tonight for my daughters 16th birthday (her choice) and it was definitely a great choice. The “all meat” platter (10 different meats) was delicious and more than enough food for 3 people. The 3 different sauces that goes with the meat was very good as well! The staff was very friendly and our waitress Angelique was very nice and definitely deserved her tip, she also surprised my daughter with a birthday surprise at the end! In conclusion, we DEFINITELY will be back and I will spread the word on how great this restaurant is! WE LOVED IT!!

WOW! What a freaking delicious and fun experience! We had braised pork belly and salads to start. The pork belly was the best thing I had! So much flavor and so tender! 🤤 the ribeye cap and skirt steak were super tasty. The service was friendly and fast! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

If you are a fan of Japanese cuisine, you are certainly no stranger to the name NIWA BBQ - an extremely hot Japanese grill. Not attractive only by the rich menu, NIWA also scored by the super beautiful decor space. Drinks here are also very good. Although it is a Japanese barbecue restaurant, NIWA BBQ is luxuriously designed, polite and authentic. The menu of dishes at NIWA BBQ will surely not disappoint you because every dish is delicious, beautiful, with detailed instructions. It can be seen that NIWA chooses from premium imported meats such as premium Wagyu beef. If you are planning to come here to try barbecue, don't miss NIWA BBQ. You will easily find the service staff very friendly, attentive, proactive and quick to serve. It will definitely bring you the most comfortable experience.😉😉

Wow. Phenomenal experience at Niwa. This Japanese style restaurant let you cook your own meet on the grill right in front of you. The quality of the meat is great. Staff was friendly and I appreciate them patiently explained each course to us. The cocktail menu is well designed and has clever twist of Japanese culture to it. Great atmosphere to have a date night out or just for casual family gatherings. Highly recommend!

This was my first time ever going to a place like this. It’s one where you cook the entree right in front of you with a grill built in your booth/ table. One super cool thing they had ( which I’ve never seen) was a robot tray that the servers use to help bring all of your ingredients. I believe they Cook all of the appetizers. The food was good. Good portion size. The drinks were good. The price was average. One thing that I experienced while here was literally “ getting hit where good Lord split ya”. If you’ve never heard that saying it’s basically saying getting hit by a door. That literally happened to me leaving out of the women’s restroom. It’s a very heavy door ( at least heavy for me) and apparently closed back fast. The knob tan smack into my lower back and I was sore for days. When I came out I didn’t make a fuss about it I just know next time to do things differently.

My husband and I came here for dinner. We got here right when they opened. We’ve had Korean BBQ before but never Japanese. The service was amazing and the food even better. They do happy hour on Tuesdays and have a special every month on the 29th. We’ll definitely be coming back.

I had yakiniku in Kyoto and that experience was delicious. Was excited to try Niwa. We went on a weekend. Every thing is a la carte. We ordered filet mignon, hanger steak, NY strip wagyu, cab rib eye, and zabuto wagyu. These meat, even marinated, didn’t hit the spot for me. The wagyus were just okay. The sauces to dip in weren’t my favorite. Took a while for an order of rice to arrive. Staff were courteous but overwhelmed so we tipped extra on top of 20% although our group was small. Our server was nice but it was hard to hear when ordering or have a conversation amongst our group bc music played too loud. I suggest a paper menu item check list so we can mark everything we want instead of having the server write down everything and re confirm to be more efficient. This place is popular for folks not accustomed to grilling meat at the table or foreigners to Asian cuisine.

Loved Jason R's service! Only nitpick was that the wagyu short ribs should be cooked for 1min each side rather than the 2-3 mins recommended. Filet mignon was my favorite with the rib eye cap as a contender.

This place is amazing for a group dinner, family night or date night. We went with our kids and they had a great time. Service is amazing. Food is great but in my opinion they can improve the quality of the food based on the price they charge.

While we're responsible for cooking our own meat at Niwa Japanese BBQ, the food was good. I came across a review where someone mentioned their meat was burnt. However, grilling is in our hands, and the restaurant even provides a helpful note advising the recommended cooking time for each type of meat, ensuring we get the best results. I had reserved a table in advance and was seated upon arrival. The tables are beautifully designed, and the seating is comfortable, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff was generally non-intrusive, always approaching with a willingness to help when called upon. There were moments I wished they were a bit more attentive, but their approach ensured we weren't disturbed unnecessarily, and they were quick to clear dishes with a warm smile. However, there were some external challenges. Parking was problematic. Some nearby lots had homeless individuals demanding money at public parking. Even with police around, the situation wasn't handled well. Additionally, the area had a noticeable number of intoxicated drivers. For those considering a visit, especially during weekend nights, I'd advise using ride-sharing apps or perhaps parking at a distance and walking. In conclusion, Niwa Japanese BBQ offers a beutiful dining experience. Most of the challenges I faced were external and not a reflection of the restaurant's service or quality.

Happy hour is a good deal. You need to try the beef skirt!

You never have been and never will you go to a better restaurant than Niwa. I love how consistent they are in every way imaginable. The food would be a good enough reason to come back, but to add the great vibe and impeccable service to it...it's as close to perfect as you can get. This time Tiffany helped us. I've never had a bad server or bartender, but I'll just ask for her when I go back to make sure. Go. Tonight. Now.

The barbecue here tastes fantastic. Highly recommend the short rib and hanger steak. If you like vegetables, the asparagus and zucchini are good, too. If you like Korean BBQ, you'll probably like this. The gyoza here is excellent, but on busy nights occasionally sold out.
