I love true food kitchen! Most of the food is really healthy and you feel good after eating it. I used to pick up the ancient grains bowl from here when I was training for nationals. Gives you the right carbs, fats, and healthy fiber. All while tasting delicious. We got a kale aid juice along with edamame dumplings (these things are so so amazing). We usually get two orders of the dumplings because everyone fights over them. This time we tried the cauliflower appetizer and it was sooo good. Definelty recommend giving it a chance. For entree I got the ancient grains bowl. We got the mushroom pizza and spaghetti squash which were both great.

The food was delish. Beautiful restaurant and decor with a cute outdoor patio. We had a terrible waitress that never checked on us, but she checked on her other tables. She did a great job of making us feel invisible. I don't want to say it was because we were the only people of color dining in at the time, but it sure felt like it. So we definitely will not be back.👎👎

Last night we made reservations online a few minutes before arriving. We we’re seated quickly. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff were incredibly attentive. For an appetizer we had the spinach and mushroom pizza which we both loved. I ordered the vegan double cheeseburger and sweet potato hash which was delicious. Watermelon and lemonade drink is perfect for summer weather. My husband had the grass fed burger with kale salad. The burger was great but the kale salad wasn’t all that good. We had the waitress bring him a side of sweet potato hash instead. Over all the restaurant was nice and clean. But it’s just not a place I have to return to.

I’m not from the area. My girlfriend lives here. I’m in for the weekend and she said we HAD to go and eat at her favorite restaurant. I had the vegan burger which was incredible. We split the hummus which was also great. I forgot to take pics before, so here’s the after. 😋 We had Merry Machata’s to drink. Everything was delicious!!!

Super delightful gluten-free vegan burger! Love that the patty is housemade! With yummy, fresh ingredients including walnuts. I also loved the sweet potatoes and they have a super tasty housemade pesto you can add as a side to anything- highly recommend! 🤩 #veganburger

I loveeeeee the butternut squash pizza. Its packed with caramelized onions, roasted garlic, organic kale, vegan almond ricotta (😋) dried cranberry, and sage. I finished it solo and have no regrets as it doesn't give you a heavy feel. I'm not a fan of sage simply because of the appearance and had to do a double take of the menu as I thought it was mold at first since I had my food delivered nearly an hour after placing the order. I simply picked the bits off one by one. Next time, I will do without it, but I didn't allow it to ruin my pizza lol. It's sooooo good and I was amazed at the almond ricotta - definitely a new fan and I will be buying this at the store very soon. 💞 I also tried the spaghetti squash casserole, which consists of tomatoes, caramelized onions, zucchini, and mozzarella. It was different but didn't go to waste around me lol. I personally think it's more of an acquired taste. Anywho, I will be returning/ordering again in the near future. Healthy options, vegan options, gluten-free options - thank you for thinking of people like little "young" me. 😄

I really enjoyed my grass fed hamburger with kale but luckily eating in the sunlight I found a lash hair and hair from the scalp in my meal. My server was very nice but the manager did not remove the meal from my check because it was last minute which was so unfair.

From start to finish every aspect of dining at a True Food Kitchen is fantastic. My body is happy after eating from the delicious food made perfectly. Their allergen friendly menu and aware staff makes my dairy, egg, and gluten allergies seem like no problem at all. A++ we will be back, many times

Vegans rejoice! Fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables. The hummus is full of flavor and one of the best I’ve ever had. (-feta). The mushroom pizza with the almond ricotta (nondairy) was very good. I’ll definitely visit here again to try different vegan-friendly items on the menu.

Ordered via doordash but this food is amazing. Got the ancient grain bowl with steak, roasted butternut squash soup, and the carrot cake. Definitely making a reservation soon.

First time coming here, it was ok my hubby got the quinoa bowl and added chicken with shrimp. Pretty good 👍 I ordered the spaghetti squash, but they made a mistake and gave me a Korean bowl... I really wanted to try the spaghetti squash! But overall it was 👍

It's one of the finest restaurants to have healthy food. Additionally, they have enough options for vegetarians. Two Reasons to go to this place: 1. Good food 🍱 of course 2. Impeccable service. If possible ask for "Ariella" as your server. She is fantastic and will help you out if you have any confusion in terms of ordering, lol 😂 however she is really kool person at this location. My recs for Vegetarian 🌱 (p.s - I'm vegetarian :- no meat and no fish) 1. Edamame Dumplings 🥟 - It has dashi, white truffle oil, herbs (270 cal). It's really delicious and my go to starters. 2. Herb Hummus - It has cucumber, cherry tomato, onion, olive, feta, lemon oregano vinaigrette & house-made pita (710 cal). It's good in taste however Edamame always comes first. 3. Good Earth Kale Cobb salad 🥗 - it’s one of the best salad that has cashew poblano ranch, romaine, avocado, cucumber, pickled jicama, corn, cherry tomato, gorgonzola, crispy chickpea, hemp seed (500 cal), I always ask to add tofu. I also recommend to have this salad with mozzarella cheese instead of blue cheese. 4. The O.G. drink which has ginger, honey, lime. It's best to beat this burning hot weather. All three ingredients are good for throat as well. Thank you!

The salmon was OK, cooked well, the dressing was strange in combo. Butternut squash soup was good, my daughter liked the kids burger with gf bun. The herb roasted fingerling potatoes were boring. Husband ate his whole pizza, and said it was good. The kids cookie sundae was great and so was the root beer float, both gluten free and vegan, which was awesome to have. They can work with lots of different dietary restrictions. Down side is it's extremely expensive. We paid over $120 for lunch, with 3 entree, 3 desserts, and 3 drinks. It's a nice place and I love the healthy and allergen friendly food, but the price will keep us away for a while.

Clean food is on the menu when you walk in this restaurant. I had the trout and was throughly impressed with the texture and flavor. In the past I have tried the burgers and they are great as well. You can sit inside or out. Waitstaff is friendly. Togo is available, but for fish or a burger not recommended. Healy options abound.

This was so refreshing to eat great quality, fresh food. I had the teriyaki quinoa bowl with a side of the sweet potato hash and both were so good. I would definitely return here.

Great Menu options for all types of eaters. Prices are fair. I usually eat at the Plano Legacy location. It seems larger, and I believe the food was prepared better. Vegetarian and Vegan options you'll really want to eat.

Started with the hummus which was really good - the pita wasn’t the best, I think better dipping options would be best maybe veggies. The lemonades were tasty but no free refills. I had pan roasted chicken and was really tender. My friends had the pizza and found it to be good. I would return and try something different for sure

What a wonderful lunch. I had the delicious vegan cheese burger with a side of kale salad. I normally don't eat kale but the dressing made it tasty. Thank you Mocha for the wonderful service and great recommendations.

The one healthy restaurant in Dallas with an elegant ambiance! Seasons 52 used to be the other sophisticated healthy restaurant nearby at Northpark but that location closed. Parking is plentiful, free, safe. Intuitive and well-trained wait staff. The cauliflower appetizer is uniquely delicious! Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options while meat-eaters have great options, as well. Everyone I've brought here was surprised how much they loved it. Eating at the bar is fun as you can watch all the activity in the kitchen or just watch the game on the TVs overhead. Excellent botanical cocktails or standard beverages if you prefer.
