Why do I go here? Location is good, food is good, BUT EVERY SINGLE TIME I have a negative experience with the staff. (been here a dozen times - due to other guest requests) I smile. Attempt to make eye contact and it's like the servers can't be bothered to be kind or gracious. I can't stand the “attitude.”

A pretty nice atmosphere. Only a few vegan options available. I had the veggie burger, which is prepared in house. It was pretty basic and the bread was too thick I’m my option. The wild rice side was pretty good.

The atmosphere was great. Intimately lit booths to a active bar are avalable. The service was excellent. The house salad was fantastic. The spinach and artichoke dip and salas was good. The main course of a wonderful porkchop was the best I ever had. The merinaded cabbage was good and pureed potatos where wonderful.

So we’ve been coming to the Hillstone restaurants for the better part of 30 years. Back when I was growing up it was Houston’s. I just showed up to Hillstone while visiting from out of town. Super busy and ended up waiting an hour. Ordered the Hawaiian ribeye which as always was tasty and on point. For dessert they had my three favorites - apple cobbler, 5 nut brownie. and key lime. I went with apple cobbler and 5 nut brownie. The apple cobbler was about the best cobbler I’ve had ever. Parts crunchy, parts gooey; with ice cream. You can never go wrong with the classic 5 nut brownie either. It’s impossible to stick your fork in without hitting a nut. Great memories at this restaurant, still on point after all these years.

The best restaurant we have ever been to! We were privileged to have Emily as our server and she made our experience the best we’ve ever had. It was our first time to Hillstone and she made sure to go out of her way to make sure it was a good experience. I’ve heard a lot of good things but I was skeptical that the food was going to be worth the price. But wow, everything was amazing! The spinach dip was some of the best we’ve had and the French dip was to die for! I can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you, Emily, for an amazing experience!

One of my favorite go to lunch spots. Reliably great food and service every time. Plus, hands down the best salad in Dallas - Thai Mango Noodle (I add chicken). Skip overrated R&D and go straight to Hillstone!

Hillstone is a restaurant that’s always a real treat and one of my very favorite places ever! When they have the grilled artichokes in season, oh my GOSH, get them!! 🤩 The spinach & artichoke dip is just delicious, and the veggie burger vegetarian option was better than most I’ve tasted at a sit-down restaurant in a while! It’s always such a great time getting to dine at Hillstone, and besides the incredible food, the service is amazing as well! Always look forward to returning!

We really enjoyed everything about Hillstone. The service was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend the ribs which were fall off the bone tender. I am looking forward to going back again soon. Perfect a nice date night.

Great selection of food, I have been to Hillstone in every state. Different menus great service Today’s Mother’s Day so the service was very slow! However the food is always steady and good

Great dining experience. Service was superb and our meal was very good. There was a short wait, even with the reservation but everything else was fine.

Awesome food, the Ribs are the best ever! The service is outstanding. We literally ate here 5 nights in a row! Shout out to Spencer an incredible server. I travel and eat out all the time. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!

Customer service is excellent. Note menu has changed - no chicken tenders and fries or beet salad (although you can order beets on the side). Bake potato was on point and so was the rainbow trout. The special was rainbow trout with shrimp on top - I was assuming the shrimp would be grilled but it was fried and it actually was good

I really enjoyed my experience very much, the food and service were great! Then it came time to pay, I had a Visa gift card I was using for my birthday, they informed me they could not accept the card because it did not have a chip , but it came with the slider bar and bar code numbers on the back. So of course I was a little upset that I could not use that money to pay my bill. Since it was given to me for my birthday. After rounds with the waitress, supervisor and a manager the GM stepped up and took care of the bill , WOW was not looking for that to happen, but forever grateful a very nice birthday present! I enjoyed the restaurant and will be back and bring my card with a chip or cash , lol thanks so very much! That's how you manage!

I always enjoy eating here. I prefer the prime rib sandwich to be unsliced prime rib. I bet they got complaints though that it was too hard to eat. I used to go to Houston’s all the time before they closed but I will go to Hillstone because it is the same thing with a different name.

The food was great, the service was great. Hillstone seems to have come up with a formula that works and stuck to it. Everything feels very curated and thought through. The server was knowledgeable and helpful. I think I had the best veggie burger I've ever tasted.

I will never come back to this restaurant . Erin the manager was extremely rude. I asked to substitute proteins on my kale salad for an up charge and was told this was not possible . I asked to pay for a side salad with kale entree and there was also no cheese on my salad. * asked to speak to the manager and he smiled and said sorry now you know for next time . This was my first time here and I will never return . Awful service and pathetic $35 salad

Coming to Hillstone by chance today, and it was the pleasured experience. The food was cooked well and tasted so delicious than I expected! Highly recommend and definitely to come back! There is a minus point, they just served me dusted glass! But the food was good so I forgive… the service was fast too.

We went for a dinner on a Saturday night and enjoyed the amazing ambiance and delicious food. We made the reservation and were seated promptly after arrival. The service was great in the beginning but it went below average once we ordered our main course. We ordered the pan-roasted Salmon and the Filet for the main course and the food came back perfectly cooked and at the right temperature. Our dessert, the warm brownie was delicious, but we just couldn’t anymore enjoy it, or stay for coffee as the service had gone way below average and we were getting irritated. So we decided to leave early before it ruins our dinner.

We dined at the bar and the food and service were great! We had the Rainbow Trout which was fresh but bland and the Hawaiian Ribeye which was very flavorful and tender.
