I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rj Mexican Cuisine and had an outstanding experience, thanks in large part to our server, Kevin. His attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm elevated the entire dining experience. I opted for the fajitas, and they were nothing short of fantastic. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the presentation was impeccable. Kevin’s recommendation of pairing them with a strawberry mango margarita was spot-on. It was a delightful blend of refreshing and fruity, perfectly complementing the savory fajitas. What stood out the most was Kevin’s exceptional service. He was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and providing insightful suggestions. His friendly demeanor and product knowledge added a personal touch to our evening. Overall, I highly recommend [Restaurant Name], and if you have the chance, request Kevin as your server. You won’t be disappointed! I look forward to returning and enjoying another memorable dining experience.

Went here based on the good reviews. We argued that it was too good to be true. Guess what, it was. The beans were bland as could be. There was some sort of wrapper in the fish tacos. Don’t be fooled by the reviews. The bathrooms were not great either. If the restaurant was in the airport it would have been acceptable. We also were not given the opportunity to get a discount with a 5 star review 😃. Try a different place to get a taste of Dallas. PS they do not have the “world’s best” chips and salsa. After trying some other restaurants in Dallas and thinking about it I changed the rating to 1 start instead of 2. There are a lot of good places to eat in this town. This is not one of them.

Nice place in the historic West End. Great staff, nice atmosphere. Margarita was good and strong, definitely taste the top shelf tequila. Chips, salsa, and queso were all top class. My family enjoyed both the cheese and beef enchiladas. I myself found the steak fajitas left something to be desired. Definitely a bit pricey, $120 including tip for a party of 3 with only 1 acholic beverage. Still, I'd say it was worth it. Would recommend.

Wonderful service and food! From the tasteful seasoning on the chips, the vibrant zest of the salsa to the invigorating flavors of the entries...our lunch was divine. Every aspect of our meals tasted so fresh without additives or preservatives. Would definitely recommend!!!

Rj's was good, not great. Once you get to a certain price range, expectations are higher. I went with a guest to R J's. We got fajitas and a shrimp dinner. When the complimentary chips and salsa came out the salsa was very nondescript (nothing about it made it memorable) and the chips were stale. The chips were rancid.. When oil of any kind goes bad the oil has a very distinct bitter taste..... i.e. rancid. These chips should have never been served, let alone with $25-$30 entres. The fajitas were cooked correctly and the shrimp were cooked correctly (crisp and snappy... not overdone) but the seasoning was extra mild and I found that, although cooked well, the shrimp were boring and lacked flavor. Additionally, it was very hot so we sat inside. The interior of the restaurant was very dull and not exciting nor authentic. There are 2 choices here: elevate the restaurant to the level of your prices, or readjust pricing to reflect things as is.

Nice, calm vibes and a delicious meal. Stopped in before a Mavs game and was served by Pedro. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and very welcoming. He provided great service which can be hard to come across nowadays. He was attentive, friendly, and I'm glad he was our server that evening. We ordered the steak fajitas with some chips and salsa, along with a Sangria and Coco Loco. The steak fajitas were perfectly sizzling and delicious and the salsa was yummy and spicy! Chips were nice and warm. The drinks were great too and Pedro made sure we liked them before he left the table. Overall, I'm so happy we came and ate here instead of going to a few other places we looked at in this area. A good experience and delicious food.

The menu was different than what was shown online, the prices for certain things were extremely exaggerated, The chips and salsa were ok, decent flavor but watered down ketchup consistency, many things were too spicy so that limited what my geustes could order. The server we had was nice but didn't really do a good job, and we needed to pay the parking meter out front so we asked our server if we could grab some coins from the bartender and he said they do not carry any cash or coins, so when he left, I went to the bartender and she exchanged it with no problem, kind of a wierd experience, have to honestly say I won't be going back, and not really sure why this place has such high reviews, it's good but not that good.

Have a great experience in here! The food was great, and it is HUGE! The service is so nice, same as the staff— Ana! We can't finish salad as we order too much, I just wish my stomach was bigger so I can have more! Definitely will come back

Great food, margaritas, service. Restaurant was quite busy at 3pm on a Friday. We had reservations and found a table right away. Service is good and attentive. They had fantastic $5 margaritas for cinco de mayo. Guacamole was excellent, although portion is small for $15. Ordered beef enchiladas with salsa on the side. Salsa is spicy. Steak fajitas. Steak was seasoned well and it tasted great. Overall good experience.

We got the fajitas and they were really yummy! All the meat was juicy and the seasoning made it even better. The chips and salsa were also good for it’s surprisingly low price. Our server was also really sweet! Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting downtown Dallas :)

We came in for lunch after visiting the Museum of Illusions across the street, just in time to catch the end of the lunch specials for the day. “World’s best” chips and salsa did not disappoint. The salsa had a good subtle heat to it. We both ordered “perfect” margaritas, which were respectably strong. The staff asked us to taste our margaritas before they left us to make sure they were to our liking—we appreciated the extra effort. Food and dessert were fresh and delicious, and service was quick and courteous.

Great little spot tucked in the West End. The squash soup was fantastic 😋. I enjoyed the fish taco I'd add more salt but that's what sauce is for. Araceli was amazing abd funny! She took care of me and gave great suggestions. I had the Coco Loco and at first sip I started to rethink my life decisions 🙃 😅 😩 Wooo it was strong! So if your interested in not walking please buy this drink it tastes good and I DO NOT recommend it for light weights 😅 lol. Atmosphere was cozy the highlight for me was the soup and the staff treats you like friends. Good for lunch while out on the town.

We had the pleasure of having Pedro as our server and he was excellent especially because my son didn't find anything on the menu that he wanted so Pedro went above and beyond to help us out

Usually most restaurants in downtown will turn down lunch reservations for groups bigger than 20, but they managed to serve a big group of people from our work. Food was delicious and price was good too.

Fast delicious service from beginning to end. Ordered their top shelf margaritas (ok maybe 3 of them) which were well made. Definitely back again.

Our large group of 30 in Dallas for a real estate conference, enjoyed a business lunch at RJ’s. The servers were fantastic! Lunch selections are reasonably priced. Make a reservation in advance for larger groups. We had a great experience and definitely recommend.

On December 30th my family and I came in here for the first time and had a wonderful time. The service was great and the food was even better. Our server was Juan and he took such good care of us and made the place feel so welcoming. This place will become a staple in our family, most definitely recommending to others!

I LOVE this place! Very neat atmosphere. The food is amazing and the portions are large enough for two. Tonight's dinner is going to be tomorrow's lunch and I am A OK About that. This place is very clean, yes, including the restrooms. I was able to feed even the pickiest eater. Our server was very attentive but not overwhelming. I really enjoyed our visit. The prices are on the lower side considering it's great location in Dallas. Easy and ample parking. Very highly recommended. You can even walk across the street and visit the museum of illusions.

Affordable prices and courteous staff. We ordered the chimichanga and the chicken enchiladas, and both were BIG in flavor and super filling. Chips and salsa were delicious and lived up to being the best. Also, we enjoyed a non alcoholic mango-rita !! We will be coming back!

Service fast pretty fast for a Saturday, we made reservations on Google and it was honored in a timely manner as long as you have your full party present. Chicken enchiladas and tilapia margarita were good. Sangria was sweet and fruity. Chips were ok, salsa was amazing; nice roasted flavor with a spicy kick. A bit pricey because of location and they tack on gratuity for a large party.

Naomi was our server and she was very sweet. The food was great and they even have a Mock-tail menu! We had veggie enchiladas, veggie pasta, and flan for dessert. If you're in the area for the Musems or Aquarium, this is a great spot that's smack-dab in the middle of West End.

The food might not look extraordinary but it certainly tastes that way. The restaurant claims to have the best Mexican food in Dallas and I have to agree. Exceptional. As was the service from Kevin! Professional, attentive, and friendly. The service is as good as the food. A five star experience in every way.

Definitely one of the best places I’ve been to serving authentic Mexican food. Everything from the Chips, Salsa, Cocktails, Tacos and Churros were absolutely amazing. The service was on point, Mike was our server and took great care of us. Definitely stopping by here again for some delicious food.
