One of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. Meat loaf and short rib are definitely top options in the menu. Fall salad and sweet potatoes were also great! Edit ——— We’ve continued to visit Stock & Barrel quite a few times and wanted to add some more pictures from our last visit. Food continues to be on point, definitely recommend the meatloaf and new york strip. Drinks are amazing as well, the old fashioned and pineapple mezcalita are definitely worth trying.

Would rate with 3.5, but needs to be rounded down. Well presented plates, decent service, nice place, but food flavor didn't have the wow factor, nor the cocktails. Had the tostadas as appetizer, way too salty. Then the meatloaf and squid ink pasta, both somewhat underwhelming. Had the cocktails with mezcal, not imaginative; and the lemongrass cilantro marg, but those adjuncts were not infused, just a stick of lemongrass and cilantro leaves that didn't add much. Was probably expecting too much from other reviews.

My husband and I had reservations for 5:30 on a Friday. The staff was warm and attentive. The food was out of this world. The Toffee Croissant Bread Pudding is worth the trip alone. Run, don't walk!

Wow so delicious. A bit fancy and definitely plan on needing reservations. Our server said the chef never changes three items: the meatloaf, the Brussels sprouts, and the bread pudding. We ordered all three and they were all spectacular. You NEED to order the bread pudding. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back

I went for brunch on a Saturday. It wasn't very busy initially, but picked up about midway through the visit. That didn't change the quality of service. The food was good, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. The pork cigars were a little too salty for my liking, but the falafel corn salad was amazing. I also did not really care for the Expresso Martini, but the Cosmo was really good.

The food is awesome. Menu is diverse and sounds fancy but decent portions and, more importantly, really tasty. The whipped feta appetizer was great... the one thing that was offsetting for me was the smoked bread with it. It seemed to be sliced baguette with possibly olive oil and the grilled until smoked with slighted burned edges. Just not my personal preference, so I requested just toasted bread, which they coated with a garlic topping...just delicious. For Entree, I was not really hungry, so I ordered another appetizer. I asked the waiter to surprise me, and he sure did!! In the best way. He brought over 2 small pieces of smoked salmon over potato croquettes, though they were small and only 2 pieces, I shared. When I took that first bite, the delicious explosion of flavor in my mouth , so I had to share. My co-worker said it made her heart happy. The crab pasta from what I heard was great, as well as the bunless burger. Would definitely recommend it.

Our first time visiting this restaurant, and WOW! Amazing service and food! We came Friday night with a reservation. Incredible place for our date night, but would also be amazing for a friend's evening out. This review would be too long to give details about each dish, but suffice to say that literally everything we ate was fantastic and we would order it again. My husband and I shared the grilled artichokes, the grilled romaine salad, wagyu meatloaf with bacon hash, the spicy New York strip with home cut fries, an extra side of the Brussels, then topped it off with the toffee bread pudding for dessert. We are full, buzzed (thanks to the lemongrass margaritas), and can't wait to come back!

So they be doing it right! Hostess with the warm smile and great greeting , Courtney with the spectacular service, the bar with the yummy dranks and the kitchen with the quick ticket time and incredible food. This place absolutely rocking it tonight. I have a gluten allergy and Courtney was very informed, shrimp and grits were amazing 👏 I haven't been here before but I do know this will be one of my new favorite spots ! Thank you Courtney!

We went to Stock and Barrel for a friends birthday party and it was a great time. The restaurant has a vibey atmosphere and wonderful service. Our server was Evan and he went above and beyond to give us a great experience. The salmon dish and toffee croissant bread pudding was 10/10!

Had a very nice dinner here with my coworkers. Nash, the host, and our waiter, Matt, were awesome. The food was unique and tasty. I loved the Whipped Feta appetizer and the Waygu meatloaf. I will definitely be back.

Nisha, you know I’ll see you next Friday. You’ve hyped up the chef and I’m begging for more. My parents absolutely loved the food! Lump crab sticky rice and chicken/waffles with the ribeye cigars. The drinks, the food. To LIVE FOR! Sorry for the pictures. We ATE it ALL. Nisha, you’re the best and hold great conversation. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing all around! Trust me when I tell you, run, don’t walk here for your next date night! We came here a year ago when visiting Dallas and we’re so impressed that we came back 1 year later and had to visit again! Do yourself a favor and order the 72 hr sou vis (spelling?) short ribs! Talk about melt in your mouth and full of so many flavors. The hubs got the ribeye with their house fries and it was for sure better than most steak houses! To finish off dinner we got the bread pudding and it was hands down, the best bread pudding I’ve ever had! Can’t say enough great things about the food, ambience and service; thank you Matt for your guidance on recommendations and making another trip to S&B memorable!

Shauna & Christen were fabulous, I stumbled upon this restaurant on a whim and had the absolute best time. They had amazing customer service, and the experience was incredible! They offered their daily specials and menu suggestions. I had the feta dip appetizer with the smoked salmon tacos everything was to die for!

Staff was all friendly and inviting. The Korean fried chicken was crispy, tender, and the sauce was deep and savory. The wagyu and short rib burger was extremely tender and the side of fries well seasoned. Old fashioned came beautifully smoked and packed the right punch.

The restaurant is well decorated. The food there had a good presentation however the special hot smoked salmon was a small portion for $15.00. The other food we ordered was good and delicious. Our waiter talked too fast and didn't pick up the dirty dishes after we were done for a while.

Would go 4.5 stars but rounded up because of the bartenders (Kristen and MJ). They were fantastic on all levels. Ended up at the bar by accident. Had a res and they sat us on the patio. When we asked to move inside they said there were no tables but we could eat at the bar. Good decision but bad hosting...food was good some borderline great. I actually did not like the bread pudding. I dunno 15 bucks for a very small portion and it was underwhelming imo. Meatballs were spot on. Ribeye was good but thin and over cooked just a bit. Again the bar service is what made it for me.

Loved the food and the vibe. The waiters were friendly and so very much easy to communicate with. My wife and I felt like it could be our little place.

A new favorite! Service was impeccable and waiter fun and knowledgeable about the menu. The garlic pasta is simple and fresh and the grilled chicken tender and juicy. The winner was the crispy Brussels-crunchy yet tender and the sweet/salty combo was out of this world. A full bar and open concept makes this good choice for everyone.

Our absolute favorite restaurant in Dallas. The service is always great and the food and drinks are next level. We’re always tempted to try every item on the menu, but it’s so hard for us to steer away from our favorites — the burger and lump crab fried spaghetti (please don’t ever take them off the menu). Truly, we have never tried something we didn’t love. Highly, highly recommend.

From start to finish delicious! The salmon is the best cooked I’ve had anywhere. Highly recommend coming here.
