We went here while we had our family visiting from California as they wanted to try some Argentinian steak! OMG we were all blown away with the flavor and hospitality of this place. Our server recommended all the dishes and believe me they were all mouth watering!! When you are there you must try their fresh juices! They are as good as their food!! We will definitely go back and recommend this place to everyone we know.

Amazing experience! We had the Grilled Salmon and Steak. They were cooked to perfection and seasoned with unique flavors. Portions were generous and the watermelon lemonade was delightful. The zucchini empenadas are a new fave. Definitely recommend.

I didn’t drink any but most people at the restaurant had a bottle of wine on the table that was accompanied by long conversations and bursts of laughter. It has a good vibe. I was invited here for my Birthday Dinner by my Son and Daughter-in-law. The food was so good. I loved their complimentary bread, their appetizer and the main course, which was grilled Lobster. The sides I ordered were their 348 rice and Puré potatoes, all delicious. For dessert I had their chocolate cake, so yummy. The atmosphere was very nice and cozy. The service was superb. Everyone was very nice, courteous and attentive. I can't wait to go back. They also have Valet parking.

Loved our experience here on New Years Eve, meal out to celebrate birthdays and New Years. Went during lunch time to avoid the crowds, and it worked out perfect. Since it was lunch hours, the regular menu was available in addition to New Year’s Eve set menu, so we had more options for ordering. Waitstaff was very attentive and took great care of us. The food was great, but my favorite part were the drinks. Had three different drinks myself plus tried a couple others my party ordered, and they were all good. The Carajillo Coffee I had with dessert was especially delicious - best alcoholic coffee drink I’ve had before (I usually end up disappointed when ordering that type of drink). All in all a great experience!

Exceptional. I frequent Argentina and this place is doing a super job of staying fairly consistent with the restaurants I’ve eaten at in Buenas Aires. Service is spot on. Glasses stay full, multiple servers help out, food comes plated beautifully. We dined and brought home a whole second meals worth of food. I recommend sharing everything. For two of us, apps, a half bottle of wine, salads and mains (we both ordered full entrees), it was $274 with Tip. The is a spot on value. Will highly recommend.

We left feeling stuffed, but satisfied. Staff was great and the ambiance was super cool. This restaurant made two Clevelanders consider moving to Dallas.

The experience was overall great but the reason I do not give 5 stars was that we were overcharged for things we did not order for an amount of more than $100, which is absurd. NYE 2021 dinner here was good, service was great, and photos were amazing to make the night memorable as a couple. I highly recommend this restaurant if you can afford a high, pricey menu. Oh, and valet parking was only $5 and at the end of the night, they said it was optional to pay so I gave them more like $10! Closest parking was parking garages a block or more away.

The chimichurri bread starter was a fine way of starting off, you can vividly taste that it was grilled, yet not dry. It’s moist. Ordered the bife de ojo lunch special (ribeye w/ mozzarella, egg on top optional) with a side of pure de papa (cheesy mashed potatoes with a hint of roasted garlic). Was a recommended a fine, quality red wine by Rodolfo (who, by the way, was OUTSTANDING, ATTENTIVE, and so FRIENDLY during my entire dining stay). You take a bite from the ribeye, and man oh man where have you been all my life delicious goodness. The pure de papa, oh my have I been eating mashed potatoes wrong my entire life? For a second I forgot about everything else and immersed myself completely, all 5 senses, into this amazing food. Finished the chimichurri bread and was given more, a gesture much appreciated. I’m not one to usually order dessert but since Rodolfo was so friendly and just great, I was like sure why not, let’s round up this experience as it should. The panqueque de dolce de leche (crepe) topped with vanilla ice cream, paired with a nice cappuccino, was the icing on the cake of such fine dining experience. I am definitely looking forward to coming back, recommending to friends and fam, and bringing guests out here to experience what they should; an exquisite fine dining experience.

In terms of Argentine cuisine, it’s closer to a Brazilian-Argentine fusion than a strictly Argentine place (no ñoquis unfortunately). Besides that, it’s a truly amazing experience. The waitstaff is amazingly nice and helpful. The food is excellent. I highly recommend the polenta fries and the bottom sirloin. The steak isn’t salty; you can truly taste the steak. Finally the cocktails are great.

So good! We came here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. It was on a randomly rainy day. We were greeted by valet. The gentleman met me at the door with and umbrella and walked me right up to the front door where a I was met by two staff members...one to hold the door and the other with an umbrella. It was the middle of the week during COVID-19 so the dinning area was pretty empty, but that didn’t stop them from giving us GREAT service! Our waiter Rob was still kind of new, but very friendly, personable and knowledgeable about everything on the food and drink menu. The Food: Was mouthwatering DELICIOUS! We ordered the empanada appetizers (three was a lot, but worth it to try the different ones). We split a piece of Wagyu steak (cooked to chef’s recommendation). Easily the best piece of steak we have ever eaten! Got a side of Pure de Papas (garlic mashed potatoes). They were tasty. The fresh Parmesan cheese gives it a little sharp bite that was different, but good. As recommended by our waiter we got a half order of the Barloche salad and OH MY GOODNESS it was AMAZING! We were stuffed, but made room to end with a flan and to our surprise, they brought out a candle and chocolate happy anniversary message! 5 star experience and reasonably priced! To start, they provide complimentary grilled butter bread and yucca fries topped with this awesome sauce!! For an appetizer we got the Matambrito- boneless beef ribs. It came shredded with grilled bread and chimichurri. Seriously AMAZING!!! So we'll seasoned and tender!! For a main I got the small order of the Carte de Cordero- which is the small order of the rack of lamb. It was incredible- seasoned so well and came with mint jelly that was delicious and a great compliment to the lamb. My bestie got the Seabass Carrillero It came with grilled herb butter potatoes and a basil sauce. The fish and potatoes can stand on their own, they were delicious. And that basil sauce can go on anything!! I ate it with the fish, the potatoes and my lamb lol. For sides we got the broccollini and the Arroz de Parillero which is white rice, eggs, spicy sausage and shoestring potatoes. Both were delicious!!! To drink I got a Pisco Sour and she got a Cucumber Martini- both made perfectly!!

They were fried sliced potatoes with this aoli sauce and brisket on top. (favorite of the table) We also had a basket of just fries which were honestly the best fries I've ever had. We shared the Wagyu bife de chorizo with the Pure de Papas and omg! yum! To top it off we had the panqueque de Dulce de leche. This was would be my preference to actual dulce de leche cake because it's not super heavy on the stomach and it wasn't overly sweet. The drinks we had were: 348 Pasion (My personal favorite) Lychee Caipirinha Fun in The Sun Hot Daisy (We tried a few others but these were the ones I remember) 10/10 recommend for Downtown Dallas best eats.

Was a little weary about trying this spot out with so many other well known steakhouse options in the area, but I have to say I was quite impressed. The steaks were excellent, good char and flavored well. I had the New York strip and my wife had the bottom sirloin - both excellent choices and we were both happy with the outcome. The service was top notch- the wait staff was friendly and provided detail about any dish we had questions about. Constantly checking on us to make sure we were satisfied. Overall I thought the food/service was better than a lot of the other steakhouses nearby. I’ll be back for sure.

The Gallows is a warm, inviting, and funky gathering spot. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. You can't beat the throw back 90s tunes or Friday night ballade nights. The foods is upscale pub food with an innovative flair. Great local beers on tap and a bustling crown on the weekends and evenings. Covid closures made me realize how much of a home the Gallows makes this neighborhood feel like, and I can't wait to be back safely eating truffle fries at the bar, drinking a Lamplighter and listening to Celine.

We ate here in a whim, just looked up a place and decided. They had really good reviews. It’s not a huge place but we were able to call and make a reservation within the hour and were seated right away. My salmon was good but could have been a bit more flavorful. I wanted to swap my veggie out for broccoli but apparently they didn’t have any. I thought it was kind of weird not to have broccoli in a restaurant - but maybe not? Overall, good experience.

The servers are friendly and attentive even when it's busy. The nearby South End Burying Ground has roughly ~10k graves, mostly unmarked. At least some of those buried there were likely criminals, as the city's gallows were also located there. I assume this bar/restaurant is named for those nearby gallows, and I really appreciate that little nod to history. If you're somebody who gets a kick out of morbid stuff, you'll like the theme of the restaurant (giant Ouija board on the wall) and the cocktails' names. Not overdone tho, they keep it classy.

Came for the deep fried cheese bells- but they were out :(. But friendly service and great music made up for it. Recommended!

I was concerned that the pickled cabbage in the tacos would be weird but it was an excellent contrast from the scrambled eggs and sour cream. Potatos were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Place filled up fast and would make reservations if later than 11. Had I been there later in the day would have tried some of the alcoholic drinks people were enjoying around me. Definitely will visit again.

Overall good experience. Came in on a Friday night and was seated right away which was nice. The tables are really close together so when the table next to us got up they had to squeeze by and bumped our table. They were not large people at all it’s just that they cram a lot of tables in a small space. Good beer selection with great descriptions so you can choose. We each got a burger and it was great. The main thing that was lacking was service. Our server Johnna never came to check on our table after we got our food (it was brought out by someone else). I ordered my burger medium rare and it was well done. Luckily it was still tasty because my partner was halfway done with his burger when I decided not to say anything and just eat it. We finished our entire meal without her coming by. At the end of the meal we had our plates on the edge of the table with silverware on top. Still didn’t get the check for another 10 minutes. She avoided eye contact, it was really weird. But despite that, the food was good and the vibe was cool so we would go back.

We each had the caprese salad, which admittedly was not our favorite. So delicious! We also shared a bottle of their Chianti. The bottle was only $50 and was the best wine I’ve had in a while. We opted out of dessert because we were stuffed, but a waiter later appeared with their infamous dulce de leche dessert nonetheless, compliments of the chef, dahling! I’m so glad the chef sent this dessert out because it changed my life and is now one of my favorite desserts EVER. Throughout the 2.5 hours we were there, we received amazing service from multiple waiters. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and look forward to coming back with even more friends. (This is Danny’s wife writing this by the way) Came here for my birthday per the recommendation of my tattoo artist. Let me just say; this place did not disappoint. My husband and I have added this to our list of places to come back to. First off; service was spectacular. We came in around 6:30pm and it wasn’t crowded at all and our server sat us in an area to ourselves basically. We had two servers and they were great! I really wish I would’ve gotten their names. We basically ordered a little of everything; started out with the empanadas, the grilled cheese (not a sandwich), salad, and a short rib dish. Followed by the chorizo wagyu, filet, and the rack of lamb; then finished off with the crepes with banana and dulce de leche and the flan. We also had one rum cocktail and then two fresh juices; passion fruit mango and watermelon ginger mint! There wasn’t one thing that was bad! All of it was cooked perfectly with amazing flavor profiles. The lamb was my absolute favorite and the mint jelly they served with it was a perfect compliment to the meat. The cheese appetizer was my favorite appetizer… reminded me of bread cheese… and they have this amazing honey drizzle over it. It was perfection; I could’ve easily eaten four plates of the cheese! Out of the desserts I loved the dulce de leche crepe the most. Rich and so tasty! The fresh juices…. AMAZING! Again our waiters were amazing; particularly the young fellow with the reddish hair. His recommendations were point on and he really knew the menu in and out. Atmosphere of the place is beautiful; menu has a great selection; portions are filling; price point for the quality is definitely worth it. We recently tried Nusr-et; and we both agreed it was worth the money here. There food didn’t leave an impression like this place. I really want to come back for the blood sausage and some seafood and more lamb! Definitely a great place for dinner of any occasion.

I absolutely loved this place. I greatly underestimated the amount of food brought to you, but it was worth it. I can’t even remember the names of the things I ordered, but I do have pictures of them! I wasn’t dressed like the other guests, but I was NOT treated differently. I felt like the staff was overall caring and wanted to ensure my experience was phenomenal, which it was. I will most definitely be coming back here. If you want a comfortable experience, but do not feel like dressing up all suit & tie, this is the place for you.

Excellent restaurant I was introduced to in downtown Dallas! Malbec we had was the best I’ve tried yet. The house chimichurri was amazing with appetizers and main courses. We had Arugula salads and I put the chimichurri on it too. I’m not sure what cuts of steak 🥩 we had but our friend ordered for us all, very tasty indeed. Will definitely come back if I am in Dallas for a night or two!

It was the morning after Thanksgiving weekend and we were the first customers. They were ready for lunch at 11:00. The staff and food were professional. I loved to have lunch there

Let me tell you…. If you visit Marina da Gloria you must eat at this incredible restaurant, my husband and I have eaten many times and in different countries Argentinian bbq style and this restaurant it is the best, the meat was nicely seasoned and very tender accompanied by delicious rice and salad. The desserts were also of standard. The personnel were lovely, very efficient and very polite when trying to understand our precarious Portuguese. There was a great selection of red wine which was quite unusual in this part of the world. If I had to give this place I would give them a 10!!!’
