This is my go-to dinner place and has been for my family for about 6 years. I absolutely adore the sushi bar and the bartenders. They also have a beautiful restaurant with classic American dishes. I will be updating this review everytime I come! 🤍

OK so this is my sixth or seventh time here at The Mercury… This restaurant is absolutely amazing! Every time I have gone to this restaurant the service has been amazing and the food has been outstanding! There’s only one time I’ve been here where the service was disappointing however the amazing food kind of overshadowed that our server was not that great. Anyway the overall service at The Mercury is amazing. If you have not been to The Mercury located at the corner of Preston and Forest Lane in Dallas you definitely need to go there. This is a definite recommendation. The lemon drop martini… Priceless. The surf and turf sushi with the wagyu beef on top… Outstanding!!!! The pictures that I have posted with this review… The lemon drop martini… The salmon… The shrimp cocktail… The pork chop… The strawberry shortcake birthday dessert because this was a birthday celebration. Oh and not to mention they do have a sushi bar on the other side of the restaurant. The atmosphere… Perfect!!

Fun and special! If you're okay, spending $100 to $150, depending on wine, per person, then I definitely recommend the Mercury. The atmosphere is excellent. As soon as you walk in, you immediately forget that you're actually in a shopping strip. Everything from decor to vibe is great and put our party of six in a great mood. Our server Matt was also top notch. The wine list is nice with many familiar names but not enough choices under $80. While the heirloom tomato salad was extremely disappointing, the black cod, side of mushrooms and caramel lava cake dessert were all super exceptional. I think that Mercury's glazed black cod is my favorite fish dish in all of Dallas.

We had dinner here on Valentine's Day, it was our first time here & wasn't disappointed! The service was excellent from the door hostess to waiter everyone was very attentive. The food was superb, presentation and taste was awesome. We will definitely make our way back.

First of Valet service is there if you need it, but there's enough parking to forgo valet. The Mercury is a really upbeat spot for dinner, the dress is casual and relax. There is a main dinning room which is a little bit more loud if you care about noise. We chose the quieter dinning room further in the back, our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks are refreshing if you want or strong deciding on your tolerance. The appitizers were great and the dinner menu was also great. It's a touch pricey but it's worth it.

Great food that is nicely presented. 4 stars because the wine/spirit options are not as high quality as the food. Overall a good experience with great service.

I highly recommend mercury especially for a date night. I recently took my girlfriend here for her birthday she really liked it. She had the PAN SEARED DUCK BREAST & DUCK CONFIT and loved it!🔥🔥 I had the ribeye steak with a potato puree with a pepper corn sauce 🔥 I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning Good drinks, romantic atmosphere!

So good!!! Service was amazing, food was amazing! Filet was so good!! Expensive but I went in knowing that! Puréed Potatoes are to die for! Brussels Sprouts could use a little seasoning, but we’re cooked well!! If I’m in Dallas again, I’ll definitely be going here again! Tomato and Mozzarella salad…..if I were to be on death row, I’d request that as my last meal, seriously the most tasty thing I’ve ever put in my mouth!!!!!!!

Well, I absolutely love this restaurant, both food and cocktails are fantastic. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. As for the management, for the love of God, please stop making your employees wear masks!! Hence the 4 stars. We are in Texas, not in California, let your staff choose. We want to see their friendly faces smiling back at us and not those ridiculous masks covering half of the faces!!! This is wrong ad it is nit in their best health interest, breathing carbon dioxide all day everyday for hours!!

This experience was phenomenal! Taner our waiter was exquisite, he had recommendations since we were 1st time goers. The atmosphere was romantic and you’re able to hear the music among the chatter. He recommended a sweet wine for myself that I loved. I’m a picky wine person and this one nailed it on the head. I had the veal and my husband had the beef tournanedo and by far the best steak we had! Paired along with an old fashioned and a pomegranate martini 😘. We’d love to come back and try something else on the menu as it seems we can’t go wrong. Oh and one last thing the meringue cake topped with fresh fruit, superb! Don’t miss out on this one!

The atmosphere is nice but loud. The back area is more quiet so if you want to enjoy dinner conversation as for that section. Service is attentive with no rush. We were there for almost 3 hours. The steak was delicious and cooked just right. A bit salty. If I go back I will ask for no salt so I can add it myself as needed. There are no sides included with the $58 ribeye so I ordered brussel sprouts. They provided a huge skillet that was nice but far too much for a side. The crab dip is really good but the thin crisps of bread are disappointing. While I found the overall experience nice, I can't say anything in particular was excellent. There's not a signature item that I would recommend someone check out. It's just a vanilla table cloth restaurant. 5 of us spent $600 with tip and tax. I'm struggling to give 4 stars but this is not a bad place, it's just feels generic.

1st time dining here, Thanksgiving buffet. I thought it would've been much better food quality for the price per person. Not enough food stations for the amount of guests, not enough refreshing of the buffet. Meats were VERY dry. Fruit was frozen then thawed to be put on display on fruit tray, this made the fruit inedible. Salads were left out too long and were mushy. They ran out of items they had listed on the menu and we had a 2pm reservation. We were told " so sorry, it was very busy here today, we're all out." Not okay for the $90 per person price point, especially a family of 4 and one of the guests being an 11 year old. This was my 1st time here...and I wasn't impressed. But, very thankful for the staff being there and working on the Thanksgiving holiday.

Was looking for a place to take some out of town friends to that was not too noisy/trendy (though we enjoy that on occasion) and found this gem of a place via Google Maps on restaurants close to where our friends were staying. Due to the reviews and write ups we said lets give it a go and we are glad we did. As others have said, it is in a shopping/strip mall location, but we were greeted by a very friendly valet as we pulled up, and once through the doors that whole environment changed. The vibe in the place is very good, and decor was clean and comfortable. We had reservations and were seated right away with water waiting and our server greeting us as we sat. Drinks were ordered and bread was served. The menu has a great and not overbearing selection from appetizers to entrees and our table ordered a variety of meals from sliders with a shrimp cocktail side, to lamb shanks, steak, halibut and lobster tails as a accompaniment to our meals. Everything was delicious and spot on in temp, portions and presentation and all commented on the taste, everyone happy, host happy! We did not get dessert (or I was not made aware that it was dismissed by our table) shame as I would have liked a coffee or post meal sweet. So great experience, great service, great atmosphere, and good friends with really good food. A win for all. It is a bit pricey but this is a special night out kinda' place to go to...

I wasn’t sure what to think, until I got the bill.…. I stopped in early on a Wednesday (4:30) and the bar was packed! Was really seeking a low-key cocktail. Fortunately they had high-tops available because the bar was full! Perhaps that’s a testament to their devoted clientele. I order a stirred martini. Pretty sure it was shaken when it arrived with ice chips in it. $20!!!! Where are we Mahattan? Demerits.
