Very Bizarre! You order and pay for your food at the bar then get your drink, go fill it up and find your table. Very odd considering they ask for a tip less than five minutes of being in the building. I’m so surprised by the ratings being fairly good. There is no lighting to even see what you’re eating. The mini table lights are tinted red and serve no purpose. Writing this from the table. Now that I’m done with my food…. I’ve come to the conclusion that maybe I’ve had too much good food and it makes this food taste like bleh. Too many good reviews on the food while my chicken parmigiana tasted like a dog shook bath water all over it. I’m glad I tried it and I will never come back. To add: my server came to my table once. To bring my food. I’m relieved and feel less guilty about not tipping upfront. Should definitely be minimum wage staff since they aren’t full service.

What a horrible experience overall. The veal Parmesan was disgusting. It was like eating a shoe. The meatballs had a very strange spice that I wasn’t familiar with and they were relatively cold. I will say that the raviolis were decent and the lasagna was acceptable. They put us at a table right near the front door when it was 107° outside. Our waiter must’ve just started. He literally brought us our check two bites into our dinner. I do not recommend this place at all.

The food has pretty good with a very authentic Italian flavor. The artichoke appetizer was amazing, a little salad is served as a side with the combo plate. My children and I ordered two combo plates. Which were great, however each combo was filled with one meat-ball, a portion of lasagna, “1” ravioli and a bunch of spaghetti under the meat tomato sauce. It would be better if in the plate’s presentation It would be easy to differentiate between the three pastas. Also if it could bring at least 3 raviolis and less spaghetti to balance it. :) BUT The portion was reasonable balance with the price, and with all the food mentioned above we were 4 people very satisfied. The place is great. The restaurant is located in the middle of downtown with a beautiful view to the Giant Eyeball monument. Our waitress was very nice, however the service needs improvement from ALL the waiters in general. Maybe working on becoming a little more friendly, polite and get trained to not be so obvious in their biased behavior to make of this a better place.

Honestly, loved this place! My server Paul was top notch!!! Excellent Mules! Crazy delish fried ravioli! Greek pizza was really really good and loved that there was an outdoor patio! You'll see tons of dogs walking the ally and the patio faces the giant eyeball sculpture!

My Shrimp Scampi pasta was good. My partners lasagna was ok. I could taste too much Oregano. Huge servings and we had a great young lady helping us. If you don’t already live Downtown, take an Uber there because parking is a mess. Also there is no guest wifi as is suggested in your settings.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in the dfw area. The portion sizes are huge and the flavor is phenomenal. Parking sucks and that’s the only horrible thing I can say since it’s in downtown DALLAS but if you can get a spot, the food is so good you’ll forget about that.

The service is always excellent, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. I recently had the opportunity to dine at Campisi's, and I was very impressed with the cheese bread and lasagna. The cheese bread was perfectly crispy and had a generous amount of cheese, and the lasagna was flavorful and filling. I also enjoyed the Campisi's Special pizza, which is topped with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Campisi's. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely recommend Campisi's to anyone looking for a great Italian meal in Dallas. Greg and Mitch were both excellent servers. 10/10

The pizza at this place is amazing! I had pepperoni with jalapeños. It was hot and fresh and thin crust (less carbs). It is really dark on one side of the restaurant, but you can sit on the side by the street with lots of natural light.

3.5 Cute little place! Larry was so sweet and very helpful with recommendations for places to check out in Dallas. The lasagna portion was HUGE and very good. Kind of basic Italian food but the happy hour menu is nice and the ambiance is wonderful.

We had a great time at Campisis! We started off with a bruschetta! Omg! This was probably my favorite thing there! It was so flavorful, the bread was amazing the tomatoes were great….. it was amazing. Then we ate the spinach chicken pizza, and the bbq chicken pizza! They were both great!!! We enjoyed our time there and look forward to going again!!!! The workers were friendly! Great place

Had a great experience. I arrived 30 minutes after they opened on Sunday and placed my order at the back bar and found my own seat. Calamari and toast was good. All got good and friendly staff.

We were in town to see a concert, and right as we were getting seated for dinner I had a migraine aura come on. Our server, Marcus, was super kind and put our order in right away, got us to go boxes, etc, and the bill. We were able to leave with our dinner in just about fifteen minutes thanks to his helpfulness, so I could get back to our hotel. The food was delicious, and Marcus was great. We will be back next time we visit Dallas! Hopefully without a migraine:)

Honestly, have to say that I was quite disappointed in this location. The parking was really hard to find, and we were not even greeted. We sat down at a table, only to find out that we needed to stand at the counter to order and pay before sitting down. Nothing like the Mockinbird location And the service was not there at all. Honestly, I don’t even know why I left a tip because no one helped with any kind of service, except for the person taking our money at the register. It was quite odd to say the least not what I was expecting From a Campisi’s location.

It's a Dallas classic that is still doing a great job. The Shrimp Scampi appetizer was really good, super garlicky but the shrimp were perfectly cooked. Pizza was spot on thin crust as Campisi's does it and all around a good meal with excellent service.

This downtown Dallas Italian restaurant is a fantastic place to celebrate, relax, or join friends. It is spacious and inviting. The food was better than average, and the service was prompt, courteous, professional, and superbly helpful. It boasts two big eating areas and still feels cozy in every way. Our server was busy but never so much so that - he failed to check on us. We would go back in a heartbeat.

My wife and I ate here on New Years Eve. The vibe inside this place is awesome. Romantic but laid back. Very friendly staff. We had our normal waiter and he was being shadowed by a female who was a new hire. The new hire was awesome! We really enjoyed the food as well. They were short staffed but you could tell they were trying their best to make it as good of an experience as possible for us

The bruschetta was so good! Split that and a salad and large pizza between 4 people and was the perfect amount of food. Went for lunch and service was fast. They explained at the door for lunch they didn't have enough waiters/waitresses, so you get your own soft drinks and order food at the bar which was no problem. Very classy decor. Will come back next time we're in Dallas!

Review for catering: We recently had our group's event catered with Campisis. This was very convenient for us as we are also located downtown. The pizza arrived still hot and ready to serve. We had an RSVP of 18 people but it was more than enough and we had a bit extra. The order consisted of a variety of pizzas and two salads. The salads were a crowd favorite and came with two dressings. Both were very good and plentiful, definitely had extra dressing at the end of the event. The salad was very fresh and crispy and had my favorite yellow peppers. We had 8 large pizzas and it was sufficient. All the diet preferences were covered and they were pretty good. What I personally liked about it is that the pizza is not very dougy and that's important for a woman or just someone that is trying to stay healthy. The recipe for the pizzas is nice in that it's a casual pizza yet it's interesting enough that it can stand on its own as a dish you can serve for a meeting without it coming across as fast food. All and all I recommend to anyone working downtown that needs a meal catered especially if you work in fashion.
