Food
and
service
pretty
good,
speed
of
service
excellent,
but:
Very
odd
(non-customer-friendly)
choices
made
by
this
place,
regarding
menus.
I
sat
down
and
was
given
two
pieces
of
paper
with
specials
on
them,
but
no
menu.
Apparently,
you
can
only
get
this
electronically
on
your
phone.
Why?
I
asked
for
a
paper
menu
and
the
waitress
was
initially
stumped
on
how
she
could
procure
one.
She
then
managed
to
get
me
one
(see
photo).
A
couple
of
questions
raise
themselves
in
my
mind:
1)
If
I
have
specials
on
paper,
this
cannot
be
about
hygiene
or
something
like
that.
Why
the
choice
not
to
give
guests
hard-copy
menus,
as
is
customary
for
a
sit-down
restaurant?
2)
If
an
electronic
menu
exists
(which
it
obviously
does)
why
hide
this
from
guests
outside
the
restaurant?
On
the
website
there
is
a
menu,
but
it
doesn't
include
prices.
I
have
to
pretend
I
want
to
place
a
to-go
order
to
see
prices.
Could
this
be
about
trying
to
somewhat
hide
their
quickly-rising
prices
from
customers?
(Compare
my
menu
to
the
one
from
a
review
here
in
March
22.
The
difference
in
prices
looks
to
be
about
30%
across
the
board.)
Are
prices
being
hiked
so
often
that
menus
could
not
be
reprinted
quickly
enough?
And
yet,
overall,
this
place
is
actually
very
up-front
about
prices,
especially
on
drinks,
for
which
it
should
get
high
kudos.
In
fact,
it
is
one
of
the
few
places
at
which
you
will
find
beer
prices
listed
on
the
menu
(once
you
get
to
one)
which
I
very
much
appreciate.
So
what
gives
with
this
strange
choice
regarding
the
menu?
