This place Was new to me. I took my cousin here that just flew in from New York to have a great breakfast with mimosas and this place came up as a great breakfast place. The fact that they serve Mimosas was even better. When we arrived we ordered our Mimosas and a country side dinner breakfast then came the scrambled egg hashbrownsCountry fried steak and fried chicken country gravy and grits. Very disappointed in the way of the food taste!!! The gravy was thick. Thicker than a snicker!!!! The grits were runny!! more like they was running away from the table!!! The chicken tenders were nicely breaded but had no flavor. Let’s get to the mimosas. The mimosas came out and they had pulp!! Anyone who knows a Mimosa knows if it cannot contain pulp!!! I don’t know if you want me to chew and swallow at the same time but I can’t do both!!! First time and last time, that one star was for the nice waiter!

We haven't been here in awhile, but opted to try it. Hubby and I enjoyed a delicious healthy breakfast. I also liked several items in the general store. Sunday - 08/06/2023 Breakfast was delish and the service was great. Plenty of menu items to choose from and reasonably priced. I also like shopping in the general store and love how they decorate the Christmas trees 🌲

We can alway count on Cracker Barrel for a great breakfast. The pancakes are always delicious and just the right amount of crispy and don’t get me started on the real maple syrup. The staff, like Amy, are always delightful and hardworking. Another favorite is the hash brown casserole, you got to try it!

For this price point, who can complain. You get a table full of food and it's far from breaking the bank. Steak and three eggs for $12. The store was cool too

Love coming here! The food is delicious, and pancake mix is really good! Tried the pancake tacos, which are semi new to the menu. Fantastic idea! You can just dip your pancake taco into honey 🍯 it’s busy during the weekends so make sure you reserve your table online!

Mattie, our server, was a gem. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our breakfast and visit. Compliments to the chef(s). Amy (cashier) was also very friendly. Can’t believe I spent more at raising cane’s the day prior. I feel bamboozled. I’ll definitely be back. A++++

Very nice staff and family environment. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The barrel Burger was delicious. I suggest you add a egg sunny side up and bacon on the side with it. The food was delicious.

It was right around 11 AM when we went. It wasn't too busy. The server was very pleasant and topped off our drinks regularly. I loved the sourdough french toast!! I ordered scrambled eggs, a biscuit and crispy hash browns. The food was great! Always a great choice when I did not want to make breakfast at home. The strawberry mimosas are pretty basic but refreshing.

Ordered a family meal for thanksgiving for my staff. The order was placed last Friday. The meal was scheduled to be picked up on Wednesday November 23rd at 11:30am I arrived 15 minutes early. To my surprise they couldn’t find my order. I didn’t get an apology. I was told by one of the staff members well they don’t make chicken and dumplings today. I had to wait until they made my meal. 15-20 minutes later my meal came out. Once I arrived back at work No one touched the chicken and dumplings, the harsh brown casserole tasted old. The only good thing was my Mac n cheese and the rolls. Every disappointed

It was my first time in this cracker Barrel. Staff were very welcoming from the second we walked in the doors. It took about 5 min to get a table. They had tons of cool thing in the gift shop at the front of the restaurant. Our server Angie was phenomenal. She was sweet and kind all while giving us the best service I've had in years while eating out. Our food was delicious and full of flavors. As you can see in the picture. All looked and taste delicious. But our server was magnificent. She made me feel at home. Came by and check on us every 5 min even though she still had other tables. Definitely recommend this place. Come on down and invite the whole family.

My husband, 1 year old, and I went in recently. Also had to figure out the app, that wouldn't load correctly for a quite a while in store. We were trying to redeem one of the appetizers rewards, that ended up not working out in time. Past that the experience wasn't exactly great. As we walked into the dining area we weren't verbally greeted, as childish as that may sound. We walk up on two employees whispering to each other, then the second one dips. Then the new hostess proceeds to gather menus and silver ware, only motions us to a tiny table. Thankfully the previously mentioned employee informs her we need the 4 seater table, since we have a baby. We ask for a sling or high chair for the kid, and the hostess brings this nasty chair. Its coated in multiple things. Were it not being used as a sling, I wouldn't have even used it. We cleaned the bottom of his car seat after leaving. Further an odd interaction comes from the hardly there waitress. I came for the dumplings, she informs me they're dried out and have no broth to them. Then she says she can get me a sample and I "can send it back if it's not good, but I'm just warning you my last customer ordered them and they were not to their liking". So I go ahead and ask for the order, I'm not that picky. A bit later she comes back with our orders, snarky like, saying she was able to get the cooks to scrounge up some broth. I almost felt like I took her meal or something, and she was trying to desuade me from ordering it before hand. We weren't offered any biscuits/corn bread. By the end we hadn't received any refills, and she hadn't been by since dropping the food off. We were waiting for a togo box and the check before she came back. There were plenty of other employees cleaning tables and doing refill condiment duties, but she was in the back that whole time. A few of them even stopped to ask us about our child, which was nice of them. Food ordered was the pancake tacos, and chicken n' dumplings with a side of dumplings, the greens, and side of corn. We enjoyed the food, could've done with some cornbread. Maybe could do with a little more corn in the dish.

I posted a picture of the meal I waited nearly an hour to receive. I had the manager come look at my plate and he was equally disgusted. Offered to make me another plate, but by this time the rest of my party had finished eating so we just paid and left.

We have been spreading out trying places we have ate at in a long time. Been having some abdominal pain issues and having pinpointed exactly what they are. However we know there food related and so it was time to quit eating fried food, sweets and processed Meats Etc. We were in the area of Cracker Barrel and thought I bet they have some good home cooking and vegetables. We were surprised to learn they have a great lunch menu. Only $8.99 between 11:00 and 4:00. Certain days they have daily specials. We came on a Thursday so their daily special was Turkey and dressing. Yeah I know dressing probably not that healthy but it was damn good. The special came with mashed sweet potato and delicious cranberry sauce. I had forgotten how good that was. I also had forgotten how good their damn biscuits were. Right up there with Texas Roadhouse rolls and not quite as good as Red Lobster corn biscuits. We had a wonderful waitress, a real down-to-earth hard-working woman that was also a second grade school teacher. My wife had meatloaf that she said was good but not great. The part I really liked it wasn't crowded we came at the right time. We will be back probably to try breakfast again. It has been a minute since we last had breakfast there.

First time, and it won't be our last. This place has some pretty cool stuff in their store, I enjoyed a delicious lunch with the family and all the things I bought after, they go from cute sandals, pretty home decorations to weird candy treats you won't find anywhere else. Big plus, the hostess was super nice and our server Angie was amazing!

CURRENTLY HERE RIGHT NOW AND ILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION EVER. Service is horrible and we still havent ordered. The waiter asked what we wanted to drink and hadnt came back. We asked another wait to go get him and he waved from fhe back saying he was coming but we are still sitting 20 min later and no drinks at all. THEN he COMES NOW TO the TABLE WITH THE WRONG DRINKS (a tea and a strawberry lemonade) sits them on the table and all we ordered was water. This is pitful. No silverware no napkins I have more but its too much to type They need to revamp this location all together from employees to managers as well everybody needs to be retrained

The waitress Latisha had us taken care of at all times didn't have to ask for refills she remembered our order without writing it down she even gave us to go drinks without asking. Price was perfect food was great. Even though it was busy and they said it would be a 15 minute wait we didn't wait at all. Best experience I've had here so far.

Went to the restaurant in Mesquite Dallas tx and was surprised that the waitress was amazing and very helpful. The rolls were off the chain. And so good. The chicken fried steak tasted the same as I had one 2 years ago and before that 5 years before. The food was cold. And there was 7 of us. And didn't feel like going through that again. Where you keep asking them to fix this warm this up. And so on. Your running a restaurant business and you should be prepared to know how to cook food with flavor and make sure it's hot for the one paying for it.

I got a chance to eat this morning at Cracker Barrel. It is always a treat with scratch made food. This morning we had some excellent biscuits. For my breakfast I had their hashbrown casserole topped either scrambled eggs, fried onion straws, green onion and some bacon. It was delicious and recommend you try that.

Our waiter was great but they were really busy. Food was good. Only been a few times but I came just for the cream cheese stuffed pancakes. Sausages and eggs were very dry

Seated promptly and server was a gem. Eggs and bacon were exactly the way I like. I prefer traditional hash browns so the casserole was simply ok in my opinion. Blue berry pancakes are one of my favorites. I think I was expecting something different. Less blueberries and more batter would have been nice. Also I prefer them with the regular syrup but recommend trying both. Our server mixed two flavored teas and it was amazing. She had never had that request before but she did it for me. It was busy so the wait was longer than usual and a few items were not what I expected. Overall a good meal with great customer service.
